Best Korean BBQ I have ever had. The star of the show is truly the quality of the cuts of meat. Unbelievable marbling in the beef, you could swear it was wagyu! Highly recommend.

By far the best korean bbq I have had, even compared to the ones we have at home in Canada. Once you get to your table, it is already set up for you with multiple side dishes and salads. Staff are friendly and always available. We ordered the large beef combo with an additional order of beef. Best part, you don't have to cook!! The resto staff does it for you! Beef was fresh and super tender, especially the prime rib and short ribs. Love how they have the egg and corn on the grill, we definitely have not seen that at home. Great experience!!

Great place to eat. Very busy so make reservations especially if you have a large group. Wait staff as helpful and explained menu as you went. We had brisket, pork and short ribs. The marinates were wonderful and the different sauces really made the meal. A god lace if you have children too.

I love this Korean bbq joint! They have 2 floors and it's always packed! We ordered the marinated ribs and it was so good! They got the marinade right and the sides that really complimented the meal. I'm Korean and this was just a whole new  bbq experience for me which says a lot! I've never had bbq where you don't have the hot pepper paste, gochujjang for dipping except here. The crazy thing is it didn't even cross my mind because the lettuce comes marinated and they make their own in-house dipping sauce which is bomb! The cooked egg actually comes marinated and is quite tasty. Every other place I've been to tastes quite bland that I actually never order it and always opt to make my own at home. It definitely is hands down the best Korean bbq in NYC. The ambiance and noise level was just right. The staff were so attentive and kind and the absolute best part was you don't wreak of food afterwards because it's that well ventilated! This is the go to spot for Korean bbq! I'm in love!

Some restaurants are best enjoyed by couples. Others set up well for solo dining. Then there’s Korean Barbecue that requires you to bring a large group of friends to properly take in what it has to offer. It’s what I like to call the Vegas of dining. Almost all the tables are built for groups of at least six. The meat comes out on massive trays no small team is meant to consume. And everyone seems to be having a good time.

Kang Ho Dong is without question my favorite Korean BBQ restaurants. It is so good, that I was renting a Zipcar once a week and spending $40 just to be able to drive to the original location in Flushing. Needless to say, I was ecstatic that a new location was opening in the city. I was so ecstatic that I went there about 30 times in the span of two months.

The food here is so delicious. The head chef is truly a master, the sauces he creates to marinate some of the meat is amazing and makes the marinated short rib one of the best things on the menu. Things I would recommend is going straight for the Beef Combo ( Small for 2 people, and Large for 4 People). The deal is pretty good, otherwise things on the menu get expensive individually. The combo gives you Beef Brisket (OMG AMAZING), marinated short rib, and your choice of either short rib (unmarinated) or rib eye. You honestly can't go wrong with that combo, and it can fill up your entire party guaranteed. And since they cook the meat for you, its always done to perfection. You never leave Baekjeong unsatisfied.

This is a great place with a great atmosphere that's perfect for bringing friends for a chill night out, which helps since the amount of food per person increases while the average price per person decreases the more people you have in your party. Highly Recommended.

P.S. - Their take on the Beef Tartare is worth buying individually. It takes their high quality meat but then it is mixed with Egg yolk, spices, and green apple chuncks that give the dish a sweet, tangy, savory flavor that is a interesting twist on the original.

If you are missing traditional Korean BBQ dining, then make sure you make your way here. Not very hard to find and there should be plenty of seats and wait times should be ok. We waited for about 15mins for our table.

To keep things easy, they have a set menu that's suitable for 2 and all you need to choose is if you prefer beef, pork or chicken. The portions were plenty and we managed to eat most of it, but at the end we were very full.

The food was the best thing in this place, that is what gets 4 stars, nicely cooked and a full experience for someone not having visited a Korean barbecue before. The atmosphere was really loud and full of fumes, they could need better ventilation. When leaving the owner almost bullied us into giving the tip they wanted which made a very bad impression because the waiters were very polite.

Fun diner spot with really delicious Korean food! You pick out your containers and can microwave them yourself. All the food is prepared fresh that day at the restaurant. I loved what I got and would happily come back in again.

Great place. Not as pricey as I thought compared to the others on the same street. We were craving Korean BBQs that day and this was the only place where we didn't need to wait for more than 10 mins. Very efficient and nice service. The only con is the place is very noisy and hard to talk to my friend

High quality Korean Barbeque. Seafood pancake was uniquely tasty. Good service. Delicious but nothing fancy. Not worth the price in my opinion.

More young people oriented Korean BBQ. The meat quality was decent. Fairly good selection of beef and pork. Cold noodles were over cooked. I do not suggest it. Lunch on the weekend was not too busy.

Absolutely excellent, authentic Korean BBQ! I came for lunch on a Friday and there was no wait. The waiter was friendly and explained all the food items for me since I am still relatively new to Korean cuisine. He also helped prepare the meat so that we did not ruin it. I will definitely come back again.

Amazing EVERYTHING! Service - waited 45 minutes for a table, efficient waiting process, you can wait outside with temperature controlled seating space. Staff was super friendly and helpful (especially if you’re a first timer!). They explained everything and how to use the side dishes to combine the flavor profiles. 10/10. Food - While this is not all you can eat, there is great value for money. You can easily opt for a 2 person meal and have 3 persons fill up comfortably. Great cuts of meat, marinated well. Shoutout to the Kimchi Soup for that flavor explosion! Environment/Ambiance - 2 floors, bigger groups are segmented into separate tables. While smaller groups are typically sharing a large table with individual grills. Can be a tad bit cramped.

Popular Korea bbq in NYC. Korean food seems to be really popular here and some Korean told me the best Korean food is now in NY and not in Seoul. 🔥

“I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. My friends and I opted for set menu 1, and the taste of the meat was absolutely divine! I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone seeking a delightful culinary adventure. While it’s true that the prices are on the higher side, the quality of the meat truly justifies the cost. The ambiance and service were also top-notch, making it a memorable dining experience. I can’t wait to visit again and savor their delicious offerings. Bon appétit!”
