I found this wonderful gem and it’s like going to Paris without the plane ride! I had the special with bass filet and vegetables. It was perfectly seasoned and reasonable portions. The food is delicious, service was excellent, and I loved the cozy ambiance. I will definitely be back to try other items on the menu.

Absolutely wonderful and lively neighborhood restaurant. Everything flowed perfectly as a small packed restaurant should on a Friday night. The staff was great and never once had to call for their attention. The food portions were massively delicious. Stay for desert. We had no regrets about this place.

I've come 3 times over the last few years as I live in PA and don't get to the city often. This place has blown me away every time. It's expensive but it is worth it. Every single dish, from the fresh bread and butter to the decadent chocolate cake will make you glad you came. For appetizers, I recommend the escargots, steak tartare and buratta with peaches. For my main I always get the duck because it's too good for me to even try anything else. It's tender and flavorful. The potatoes au gratin are the best I've ever had and even the veggies (which I'm not normally a huge fan of eating) are well seasoned. I'm also not normally a chocolate cake person but I am for their chocolate cake. Go and enjoy because the experience of eating here really gives you an idea of what dining in a small bistro in France is like. Your taste buds will thank you.

What a special place! I made this reservation for my girlfriends who were visiting. The table we were waiting for was running behind and they kindly gave us each a free glass of wine. The atmosphere is fantastic. Intimate and friendly. The waiters are so attentive to the little needs and were extremely thoughtful and friendly! The food is delicious. Lots of bread provided! This is my favourite New York restaurant experience to date. I would highly recommend.

We were delighted by everything at our dinner last night. The welcome was sweet, the food excellent, the choices wonderful and the vibe terrific. We agreed it was better than most bistro meals we've had in Paris. I highly recommend the bouillabaisse and cassoulet.

We were a party of 8. We took up an entire section of this cute and quaint little place. They had a large selection of specials that were not on the menu that our server explained to us. We ordered wine, starters, mains and dessert with coffee. Everything was great. The escargot is amazing. I had risotto with shrimp and crab. It was rich, but exactly what I was looking for. The desserts were great too. The restaurant is small but you feel like family there. They pay careful attention to your food and experience. The neighborhood is safe and off the beaten path.

Beautifully designed French interior with classic French dishes prepared en pointe. C'est magnifique. Don't miss the crab cakes - they are one of the best secrets in NYC, and if they have the lamb fête, don't miss it. They have lovely soups and desserts as well. One of my favorite places in the City.

Quaint little French eatery. Classic dishes well executed. Green salad was truly wonderful. Group had Bouillabaisse, lamb shoulder, cassoulet, and Beef bourguignon. All were memorable. Service was attentive.

Overall we had a wonderful experience and the food was phenomenal. Only feedback were the fries with the steak could have been a little more done as they were more roasted than fried. Service was great and we enjoyed the intimate space and feel.

The duck was absolutely delicious and so was the crème brûlée. Good selection of wine and good service. The atmosphere is simple but the food makes up for it and is very well priced given quality.

This is my new "favorite French place". It is really tiny with very authentic atmosphere of French Street Cafe, even the building where it located is dated probably back to 19th century. And that is a limitation if you planning to have a dinner with a large group of people. But this is the only downside of this place. The food was simply delicious! Everything! Oysters, salad, soup, fries were just so good. But they had special of the day seafood risotto, that I have odred was just out of this world. It was so good, that two of my friends ordered it to go, despite been full and satisfied by their dishes. So I definitely recommend this place especially for a date night.

We started off our meal with oysters and the crab cake. Both were incredible, they even gave us extra oysters. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the wine list and best pairings. For our mains we ordered the beef bourguignon and bouillabaisse. It was one of the best meals I’ve had in the city, highly highly recommend. The attentiveness of waitstaff paired with restaurant’s charm, ambience and cuisine, makes for an experience worth trying.
