The price is fair for your meals, let's say the NY cheesecake and the coffee a bit overpriced (my point of view )..Except that.. If you wanna feel how new-yorker can be That's the place to go!
My family and I stumbled upon this place by chance several years ago while attending a concert at MSG. The food, service and bar drinks are phenomenal. We come here every time we're in town for a show, several times a year, and we're never disappointed. Great atmosphere, we'll keep coming back as long as you are here. Most recently, we were here on Tuesday and Olwyn was our server, and she was great. Lovely young lady, fantastic service!
Whenever I go to the city because I live in Suffolk County Long Island but whenever I go to an event at Madison Square Garden I always go to Mustang Harry's right before the show it is a fantastic place with great food great drink specials and great atmosphere the workers there are very friendly and just also people all around I always go to this place whenever I'm in the city and it won't change this is my to go place!
We were walking along, got a little tired and decided to stop in for a drink. Great decision! We had french fries for a snack. They had braised short ribs on it with gravy and cheese and scallions. Delicious! The bartender was very nice, ends up he grew up on the same street as me in my hometown.
The wine list was pretty good, as well as a decent beer menu.
If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. Amazing atmosphere, food is the best and the staff make you feel at home in NYC.
Went to watch the Baltimore Ravens game, with Raven fans in NYC. Service, food and drinks were great! Specifically our waitress, Sharon. She took great care of us, the entire 4+ hours we were there. After at least 15 years of watching the Raven games at the Tonic, we have a new, and better, spot.

Last night I went to Mustang Harry’s in NYC for dinner before going to Madison Sq Garden for a basketball game. We were a party of 9 and had a reservation. When we walked in the place was packed. I made my way to the hostess and told her we had a reservation. She was very pleasant and as soon as I told her she immediately found the reservation and we were seated within a few minutes! I was impressed. We ordered appetizers, which were great, and everyone enjoyed their dinner. Even though the place was packed, our waiter was great, and very attentive. All in all, a great experience!
Really great food and very friendly and efficient staff! Highly recommend
Great place for food, lovely spot and friendly staff.
Excellent food & service! It’s was so packed before the concert but everything was spot on! Good beer list too!!
Nice location and it’s very close to Penn station . Went for a quick drink and I liked the place . Atmosphere inside was very good . Their bar was huge and lots of seats available . Even with so much crowd , the service was excellent. Someone quickly took order and was able to give us the order in less than 5 mins . Restroom facilities are good . Could t eat much food this time but I heard the food was good . Liked it overall 👍👍
Coolest pub in town. Stopped by here by accident and love it. The vibe is super cool. Food is amazing. Good seating and staff is phenomenal. Kudos to Patrick. Loved my experience here.
A very pleasant restaurant with dim lighting and numerous TVs showing matches or sports talk shows. I visited during the beginning of lunch when it wasn't too busy, and the service was prompt. Servers were friendly, polite, and attentive. I ordered Harry's Burger with a side of onion rings. The burger was hot, fresh, and flavorful, while the onion rings were hot and crispy. Overall, I had a very positive experience.
Awesome service and food in a relaxed atmosphere. Didn’t feel rushed - we just enjoyed hanging out catching up with friends. Nice original menu items and presentation of food including desserts.
AMERICA AMERICA AMERICA
I don’t know why but this place is amazing, great drinks, lots of tvs, and huge portions. Come eat lots and kick back with some friends. Definitely get the steak nachos.
Easy place to come before or after a game at MSG. Also close to Penn Station in case you want a meal before you leave town.
Nice place to grab a beer and some snacks! I especially liked the atmosphere, and comfy seating booths. If you're expecting to watch a football game, check in advance - some preseason games weren't broadcasted. Also, no boneless wings!
Absolutely one of the best places in Manhattan. The owner greets you at the door, bartender is great. The food is exceptional, and the beers are cool and refreshing.
Great place to eat and drink. Good food and great beer. All cool employees and excellent location, really closer to Times Square. Ill go again definetely on my next trip to nyc.
Hosted a private party here after KISS’s last show at MSG. Really great experience, fantastic staff and nice pours!
Big thanks to the manager Patrick for taking care of us, and being great to work with!!! We were last minute and dumb, and Patrick was incredibly accommodating and patient for our last minute needs
We will be back!
My husband works in the city, he has come here many times with co-workers. He brought me down to the city yesterday for a day out and wanted to bring me to Mustang Harry's to try.
It was soooooo busy. Elbow to elbow people. Seemed to be a Fordham event taking place there.
However I was so pleased we stayed.
The hostess was great, setting us up at a table past the bar. The server was friendly and swift, attentive.
Food came and drinks came from the bar in a timely manner. I was impressed.
Bathrooms were very clean. Again impressed due to the volume of people.
The owner came by and checked if we needed anything.
I liked that as busy as they were, we weren't rushed out and stayed and enjoyed our drinks after finishing eating.
I can honestly say best burger ( and we dine alot) I've ever had.
We are in upstate Hudson Valley. My husband will be back due to his work, but I plan on him taking me back soon!
Thanks for a great dining experience in the hustle and bustle of NYC!
This place is great for a happy hour after work. Lots of shareable food dishes and everything I’ve had has been great. I highly recommend the calamari and the lamb lollipops. Also top your nachos with streak. I also came for lunch once and my dining partner had a burger. He said it was juicy and well seasoned.
We made a reservation at Mustang Harry’s for a quick dinner prior to our concert at MSG. We were so happy with how quick the service was - we had no issues getting in and out in about an hour or less! The food was good- my fiancé enjoyed his lettuce wraps, my dad liked his corned beef sandwich, and my mom liked her steak sandwich too. I had the Mac and cheese appetizer for my meal, which wasn’t bad but was definitely average. The best thing we had were the garlic parm fries for an appetizer, and even the fries that came on the side with my parents’ sandwiches were salted perfectly. I would consider coming back here again before an event I go to at MSG.
Visited before Depeche Mode in Madison Square Gardens. Great atmosphere and a great welcome. We sat at the bar and had couple of beers. I would totally recommend the Buffalo Hot wings and the Nachos as a snack with your drinks. They were outstanding and well worth the reasonable price. A must for all concert goers in Madison Square Gardens as the music and atmosphere was a great warm-up to the gig itself. The service was friendly and made us feel really welcome! Definitely going back!!

The service was incredible! We were stupid and didn't reserve a table right before a huge concert at Madison Square, but they did all they could to squeeze us in. Food and beer were amazing and we had the best time.
Clutch spot! Very large and clean space but still had a cozy local bar feel to it. The nachos were great and the service was profesional, informative and attentive. Honestly it’s similar to many large midtown sports bars but the service - like our host, Lillie, provided - is what gives this one 5 stars. I’d be back to see her friendly smile and her effortless ways of making us feel like we belonged and were missed! It’s always amazing to me that places will pay crazy rent to be in a great are, have all the furnishings to make it comfortable and attractive, source the best foods and sharpest looking menu yet not hire quality professionals like Lillie. To me, it’s the most important ingredient. Glad to see that Mustang Harry’s be on the same page!
This place was packed for a hockey game when we walked inside but, luckily, they had a table in the back for our party of two! The atmosphere is definitely sports bar pub, but the food is much better than basic pub food! I had the French Onion Soup and it was heavenly!! We also had the crispy calamari and it was D-Lish! Service was great and prices were comparable to the location near Madison Square Gardens.
Stopped in before grabbing LIRR to US Open. Happy Hour everyday from 2pm to 5pm with drink specials. Great bourbon selection. I had a decent old fashioned. I didn’t have any food but the menu was well labeled for dietary restrictions. Great booze selections.
This is my go to place when going to an event at MSG. Only a block away. I was there for a concert recently and as always, food and drinks are excellent. A little mishap with our appetizers, but the manager being the professional he is, corrected everything to our satisfaction. Definitely recommend Harry's.
