Excellent food, great service, we love the concept. The host a black guy wasn't very nice or attentive they should change this. Our server and her asst were super attentive, friendly. Food was delicious we gog the octupus, short rib tacos, whute shrimp, pork ribs, pork tacos and calamary everything was very carefully prepared, grear taste. Just the side bread was like plastic we didn't eat it
Had dinner here last night after an amazing meal at Jean Georges. When we arrived we were greeted by the host Ze, not knowing the layout he told us about both restaurants and let us know our best bet was grabbing a seat at the bar. We went to ABC Kitchen first and had some of their wonderful farm to table appetizers, the Crab Toast was outstanding!Lovely bartenders and beautiful space. Ze came over to check to see if we got seats, so sweet and kind, made us feel so special!
Next we went to the bar at ABC Cocina and dined with Kayla, she made me the most delicious basil margarita. She made some wonderful suggestions and we tried a lot of house specialties. We enjoyed the food as much as her company!
Having eaten at other restaurants helmed by Jean Georges we expected a great meal but the staff we had the pleasure of meeting put the experience over the top!
Thank you again Ze and Kayla for making our first meal with you so great, we will definitely be back!!!!
Amazing experience!! The food was stunning and the cocktails lush! Definitely recommend the popsicles for desert Fabulous service. Made my birthday dinner a memorable night.

Loved it! We made reservations on open table. Our table was ready when we arrived. Staff was friendly and informative, service was prompt, food and cocktails were excellent. We had raw fluke, guacamole, pulled pork tacos and octopus. Our favorite was the tacos but we were most impressed with the taste and tenderness of the octopus. They knew it was our anniversary from our open table reservation. Even though we opted out of desert because we were full they brought us salted Carmel flan with a candle and Happy Anniversary written in chocolate, no charge. It was a wonderful experience and we will definitely return.
Warm and cozy environment ,fantastic food ,I recommend this experience to all

Food and service quality are impeccable. Only con is that we were only provided a wine list, and were unaware cocktails were available. I would have fathered a cocktail.
The spicy shrimp and lemon chicken were awesome and the staff was incredibly attentive. We even received a sample of sherry to have with the fondue!
One of the best restaurants I've ever dined at. The food and atmosphere were amazing. The decor was beyond beautiful. The smallest of details stood out. Every corner of the restaurant was tastefully decorated. I was truly impressed and can't wait to go back.
Great place, awesome atmosphere, the food was excellent and I got to sample their pomegranate martini
I'm not very fancy, and assumed this would be a couple overpriced vegetables. But I actually had some great pancakes, a delicious slice of cake, a bold latte, and even my wife's toast packed a flavorful punch. You do have to order two or three plates per person to get full, but it was nice to have a variety of tastes in one meal.
The waitress was also super nice, I loved the clean, open space of the restaurant, and you can see right into the kitchen while they cook the food. There's clearly nothing here to hide.
Went as a table of 4 and was thoroughly impressed. I didn’t know much about this restaurant prior to arriving, but found everything to be of a high standard and amazing food! Each dish surprised on the flavours, with everything we went for being vegan, but in the best way. Richness, and bold but refreshing, I would absolutely return back!
How do I start?
Food - excellent
Drinks - excellent
Service - excellent
Ambience - excellent
I’ll try to keep it simple. This place only offers vegetarian menu. We ordered - potato dumplings, whole roasted cauliflower, oak wood shiitake mushrooms for dinner.
All the dishes are curated to perfection. It’s very scrumptious on your palette and you’ll eat with zero guilt. I wanted to try more and I couldn’t because of real estate shortage in my stomach.
It’s a must try restaurant if you are in New York. I promise flavors and nothing like you have experienced before.
The food was nice here. I had the lettuce bites, charred mushrooms, whole roasted cauliflower, corn dumplings, and the pistachio mochi. Everything was flavorful. Portion wise, you would probably have to order 2 to 3 things per person. All the food was freshly made and the sauces were very flavourful. The place is usually packed, so making eservations ahead is recommended. The service was very courteous and knowledgeable about the food. I would recommend this place.
The food was delicious! We opted to not go for the chefs menu and instead choose a couple of starters and one main course. The avocado salad was refreshing and with a little bit of a lemon kick and the cauliflower tasted delicious!
The deserts were on another level - the chocolate cake was divine and the peach vegan cream desert was light and refreshing.
Would recommend!
I love it here so much! I am gluten sensitive and my father is vegetarian and the both of us could eat nearly everything on the menu. The almond flour pancakes were spectacular. And we both loved the avocado lettuce wraps. The shakes are also good too. Dessert was amazing too, we got the lemon saffron crème brûlée. Overall I would 1000000 percent come back, the waiters were incredibly nice. I expect nothing less from Jean George!
We recently dined at abcV and had an amazing experience. The restaurant's commitment to serving and inspiring a cultural shift towards plant-based intelligence is evident in the delicious and inventive dishes they offer.
The grilled oakwood shiitake, baby leeks, and roasted shishito peppers were bursting with amazing flavors, and the spinach spaghetti with preserved garlic and lemon was a delightful, light meal.
The whole roasted cauliflower with turmeric tahini was also a standout dish, showcasing incredible freshness and texture.
As someone who consumes a lot of vegan food, I was impressed by the quality and creativity of the dishes, which are not only vegan but also gluten-free.
The atmosphere at abcV is spectacular, with a pristine, calm, and beautiful setting that adds to the overall dining experience. The service was impeccable, with the staff being pleasant, well-informed, and appropriately attentive.
⭐️⭐️⭐️Overall, abcV is a top choice for anyone looking to enjoy high-quality, plant-forward cuisine in a modern and vibrant setting
And all the above for $100. Filling healthy, highly tasty food for three.
The most expensive dosa you will ever try!!! 😄
Simply Extraordinary!!
Loved the indian fusion across the menu.
They have redone the classic dishes with elegance.
Great cocktails and desserts as well.
I was not thrilled with our waitress. She acted like she didn't want to be there and didn't want to be bothered. We even had to ask her for water. The food was wonderful! The atmosphere is bright and clean!
This was, by far, the best meal we ate on our short trip to New York. We were struck by the strong, balanced flavour of each dish. While we didn't.have time for the tasting menu, we certainly wish we'd made our reservation on a night where we had the time. We shared avocado lettuce cups and really loved the addition of toasted cumin. The whole roasted cauliflower was amazing with such vibrant flavours throughout the cauliflower. We also enjoyed the beluga lentils and the green chickpea hummus, which were also delicious. We also had two lovely well-balanced cocktails. To finish we shared two desserts, the pinana split and the cherry chocolate layer cake. The flavours of each dessert, distinctly different from one another, were full, smooth, and amazing. We still can't decide which was best. The service and atmosphere were also tremendous. I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for an amazing vegetarian meal in New York.
Hmmm... I have many thoughts on vegan/vegetarian places like this and I am debating whether or not to spew them here. I think I will hold off. Ehhhh.... okay fine I will summarize quickly: $32 for a head of cauliflower is wwiiiiiiiiilllldddddddd. It's probably like 300 calories total lmao. If I'm spending that much I at least want to walk out feeling satiated you know?
Again, this is not a knock on abcV, it's just the whole vegan-fine dining industry as a whole.
On the other end of the $32 coin, that head of cauliflower was ODE*! I don't even know how cauliflower could be that delicious. I would have lost a lot of money if we had a bet that I would say "oh my goddddd this is unreal..." about some cauliflower lol. Thankfully, I'm not a betting man. Unless it's on myself, then I completely double down.
The dosa and mushroom walnut bolognese were also unbelievable. A similar out of body experience that I had with the cauliflower. I still don't even know what dosa is but it was HITTIN!
The interior of this place had me feeling like I am in Greece. But not one of those places that you can feel they try super hard to get the Greece feel. I don't know how to articulate what I am trying to say, but yeah. When I walked in here I felt like I could take a clean breath. A very calming space. I feel like they must have a crazy air purifier in here or something ahahaa.
In terms of pure taste of food, this was the best vegan restaurant I have ever been to, and I've probably been to like 9 at this point, just for context.

*ode (O-Dee) = At this point it is almost entirely context based, can really mean whatever you want it to mean: alot, really good, too much, etc..
"yo bro, i like shawty ode."
"Bro, that cauliflower was ode!"
I will be back in a heartbeat - food, drinks & ambiance were simply phenomenal. As a vegetarian, this is some of the best “fine dining” veg food I’ve ever had. My friends who do eat meat said that the food was so good that they didn’t even notice the lack of meat.
Absolutely try the beet salad, lentils, and the coconut rice.
We split 9 items between 4 of us (which was a bit too much) and a drink each and bills came out to about $100 pp with tax and tip included.
Food was delicious and presentation was beautiful. The spiced honeydew margarita was amazing however the service was lacking. Workers are friendly but I watched my friend eat and finish her plate before they brought my dish, which is pretty standard for hole in the wall restaurants but not a place like abcv.
Overall pretty expensive but a nice splurge for special occassions. Best to make reservations because it gets crowded.
I work in hospitality and was referred here by my culinary team. I SEE WHY! Food is incredible, so fresh and light. Proper food and so much flavour. Prime ambience, excellent service, nice large menu of food, cold pressed juices, mocktails and alc. 5+ star
abcV is definitely my favourite restaurant in New York. I have been there already several times and I love the creativity of their dishes and the freshness and variety of their ingredients as well as the very accompaniment service. This time however, I was a bit disappointed since I felt that many of the new items on the menu are fried options. We didn’t notice it from the description and ended up ordering many of those (unfortunately I didn’t manage to take photos of those dishes). While they of course still taste good (like everything that’s fried), it took away much from the uniqueness of the menu since I feel that fried vegetarian food is something one can also find in any of the recently opened vegetarian comfort food restaurants. Furthermore, I always loved abcV for its healthy and nutritious menu, and I feel that they have strayed a bit from this winning strategy. Would I nevertheless return to abcV? Yes! But I’d definitely be more careful with my order.
Wow what an amazing restaurant! Everything was delicious and unique, and the service was great as well! The only reason I won’t give it 5 stars is because of the desserts- they were just not good. Food- 5/5 for sure, desserts- 0/5..
My recommendation- enjoy the food and skip the desserts:)
