Every dish was the best version of that dish I have ever had. The Salmon Tataki was easily as good as any I had ever had in my many trips to Japan, homemade or restaurant made and the reduction on it really put it over the top. I'm not even into kale and the kale salad was divine. The wait staff was friendly and gracious, cracking jokes with us even though we came in only 15 minutes before the kitchen closed. I can't recommend them highly enough. Worth every penny.
It's an amazing place. The space is well decorated rendering an American ambiance with leather chairs, ample space, a wooden bar that seems endless. The food was fantastic. Steve, the chef deserves a great review, from the beet salad, risotto with mushrooms , filet mignon and potatoes gratin, and desserts every single dish was mouth watering.
The food was delicious: pumpkin fritters, duck with fresh string beans. Lovely desserts.
Service was excellent. Waiter was attentive and friendly. I would definitely recommend and will certainly return.

Had a bridal brunch for about 17 people in the upstairs area. Did not expect the upstairs area to be so beautiful. Great service, Great food and decor. Highly recommend this place. Kudos to Chris the Manager. Excellent! All of us couldn't stop speaking of this place and how perfect it was for the bridal shower. See you soon! Glad it's so close to me!
If I could have licked my plate clean I would have! Can't wait to go back to try more food. The salmon was amazing, melt in your mouth. You had me at Cauliflower 3 ways. The Brussels sprouts were perfect too.

Great location in the heart of South Street seaport. The menu is a combination of tavern and new American. I had the chicken club while my daughter had the egg white frittata.

We had just taken an hour cruise and were hungry. We found this place nearby and it didn’t disappoint.
The girls got burgers and fries - and they devoured them. I wasn’t as hungry so I got a side of shrimp fried rice - which was actually a very generous portion and I course ate it all so I didn’t waste it. It was excellent. Server was friendly and accommodating and the gentleman serving water and bread was great.
Great location - 1840 building down by the east river. We had the chicken with Brussel sprouts and the New York cut sirloin with fries. Both were very good.
I had the quinoa salad and it was much more delicious and flavorful than I thought possible!! I imagine the rest of the food is equally as delicious. Beyond that, the staff was magnificent and the restaurant was clean, inviting, and showed excellent taste in music. I would definitely recommend it- unless you're on a budget. Although, if you're looking to eat on a budget in NYC, you're out of luck.
