Lovely food and friendly staff
My father and I went for an evening meal and weren't disappointed (on holiday in manhattan). The food was delicious and the service was excellent, the staff suggesting meals and being honest in telling us to order less as the portion sizes are generous! Decent prices considering the location and would highly recommend for those travelling to the city in need of a nice chinese meal or locals!
I had ordered food from here...for dinner with family... A chicken fried rice, a pork fried rice and chicken with mixed vegetables....the taste was really good... chicken was well cooked... flavors were good...it would have been great if the oil was a bit less...found everything a bit greasy....but overall extremely satisfied with the food quality and quantity. Would definitely order again, if I come down to NY. I recommend it to all Chinese cuisine lovers!
Best orange chicken of my life. Ordered the crystal shrimp dumplings, orange chicken, Singapore mei fun and chicken and veggie ramen. Food was great.
Pork Mei Fun and Beef with Broccoli. I loved the Pork Mei Fun! My daughter had General Tso chicken and I kept steeling bites of it.
Came here on the fly while avoiding the chain restaurants the rest of my troupe seemed entranced by in Times Square... Let me just say, what I REALLY wanted was some good ol' frozen yogurt -- it was HOT. But seeing as I didn't have time to procure any of that, I settled for the Cold Sesame Noodles appetizer.
I'll start with another little disclaimer; I only got to take about two bites sitting by Radio City before my bleeding heart donated the entirety of my noodles to a woman/child asking for food/money. However, I definitely enjoyed what I did get in me! The portion was very generous for a grand total of $5.40 (knockout price in this area...) and I was happy I have some extra cucumber on top. The noodles themselves were soft like I like them, and there was enough sauce but not too much. Overall I enjoyed it -- not the greatest thing since...I don't know what (Pullman loaves just aren't that appealing to me) but worth a visit anytime you want a nice cheap lunch. Looking around the restaurant while I waited for my order, the rest of the plates looked interesting. If you're in the area and too tired/busy to trek to Koreatown, this is a great little stop!
I just ordered the Duck Wonton Soup and it was really good. It was a quarter duck and was sliced but no knifes to carve the meat of the bones. Took some creativity with the fork and spoon, but overall was a decent meal for the price. Great value. Restaurant was crowded though. The packed too many tables together. Poor guy next to me was elbow-close and had to stand up every time the server approached my table. A bit noisy for my taste as well. I will return though, saw many plates I would want to try.
The beef stew noodles are great comfort for cold days with big noodle/meat portions and tasty broth infused with ginger and a little heat. The scallion pancakes pair nicely with them. Service is fast, pleasant, and polite. We’ll be back on our next return to NY.
The food is amazing, everything is flavorful. The service is pretty fast and they're not too expensive.
Food was good but pricey 😅. Best Cantonese ribs I ever had.
Solid midtown spot for Chinese take out. Portions are generous and service is super kind and fast! Lunch specials are great and are also available on weekends.
Their wonton soup is the best I’ve ever had.
Chicken fried rice was also amazing. Kinda pricey (once it converted to CA $) I paid $50 for 2 large wonton soups and chicken fried rice. But I can say it was worth it.
They have a weird way of getting you to tip. They make you pay for the meal. Then they ask you to check a box on the receipt. On my credit card statement it showed the original charge, then they refunded it then they charged me for the price of the meal plus tip. Tipping is mandatory they won’t let you leave without tipping minimum 15%.
We went here to have dinner after workout. The food was amazing and the portion was large. We ordered roasted pork Cantonese style, Chicken Curry Noodle, and Beef Stew Noodle. The food was tasty and delicious. We love meat so the amount of protein in each dish was very satisfying.
The staff was very friendly and willing to answer your questions.
The restaurant was clean and there was plenty of seats.
My go to spot when I'm working in the city! They are super fast, the portions I always have leftovers for a later meal &&& the customer service is on point. This place gets super busy during lunch time, but they always busy serving sit-down customers an phone orders. Best is ordering something for lunch and it's always ready in 15 to 20 mins and the prices are so reasonable. Happy to write a review I just went there today and it didn't disappoint!
Good deal on lunch specials at this Bryant Park favorite. The soup that comes with this lunch special is notable for being good quality unlike what you typically find. A wide variety of rice and noodle dishes. Food is served quickly allowing for a quick lunch hour. Service is exceptional.
Very very large portion of noodles, highly recommend the stewed beef noodle soup.
Amazing service, authentic amazing quality food. Fast service, crowded but no wait.
Very good Asian food place. The place is popular almost always a lot of visitors. A small room, the interior is simple, a little worn. The food is delicious, the pad thai was great. The staff is friendly. We really enjoyed
Our food was delicious and served in less than 15 minutes since we arrived. The staff was very kind and polite. They even refilled our water several times without us asking. Portion size for price was great! I have no complaints. So glad I found this place looking for good food on the reviews. It’s highly recommended. Also the bathroom was very clean and nice! I highly recommend this place!
Came in last minute on a Friday night and was pleasantly surprised. We tried the fried pork dumplings, fried chicken, curry chicken soup, and shrimp lo mein. The fried chicken was hot and fresh! That was a good pick. I would skip the dumplings next time, they were okay, nothing worth raving about. The soup was decent, I’d like a little more flavor, but my sister really enjoyed it. The shrimp lo mein was good, but idk it needed some sauce. We asked for duck sauce but it was waaay too sweet, tasted like cotton candy. Overall the plate was good though, that just would’ve set it off.
I’d say I’ve give this place a solid 7/10. The service was good, the portions are huge, everything piping hot and fresh, and the price is super reasonable.
A well like lunch spot know for cheap delicious noodle soup dishes near Macy's. Really like the renovations they did during Covid, much more upscale with the wall decorations, but does miss the hole in the wall vibe a bit. Been coming over 15 years, though price has risen some, food quality is as good as ever. Go to is roast duck wonton noodle soup.
Ordered basic Beef Lo Mein with an egg roll. The place has a happy vibe, led by happy staff and the patrons followed suit. Very quick table service. The food was excellent. Didn’t even have to touch the soy sauce. NYC service is typically high because it has to be and Main Noodle House meets the NYC standard.

Service is very quick and friendly! Food is good, Had duck, shrimp, chicken, egg roll and rices. Prices are reasonable, good lunch specials with healthy sized portions. Good spot if you are in a bit of a hurry but still want table service.
Super affordable lunch special! Food was great and the portion was perfect. Will definitely order again next time I’m nearby.
This is like those old school restaurants serving Chinese food that I don't see much in Chinatown anymore. I came with friends for lunch on Martin Luther Kings day and the place was still super busy. Despite that, they pushed out our orders very quickly. The lunch specials and noodle bowls are great, with tons of food for the price. They even have the classic barbecued meats like from Cantonese restaurants.
The interior is pretty crammed with tables and the waiters run around and weave through. They are patient to explain items people may not know. Service otherwise is very snappy and quick to deliver the drinks and food and check. I'm glad to see this sort of place around still.
