I enjoy the consistency in which S.S. Serves food. It looks good, taste good, and it’s all good. Solid across the board. A double smoke shack is crack. Smashed burger galore. You can’t go wrong with S.S. Although, I will say I like Smash Burger the best.
Hey there. After an exhausting walk following a visit at the AMNH good place to rest and where to have a bite. For me the Shack Burger tastes better here in NYC than anywhere else. Perhaps I am influenced by the fact that the brand started in this city 😎.
Hands down one of the best chicken burgers ever. You taste quality food despite the small size and big price. Fries are real potatoes, super yummy. Staff are friendly. Very crowded in the evenings.
Perfect place for a hot cheeseburger and chicken sandwich. Friendly staff and fast service makes Shake Shack an amazing place to grab a quick bite. Smash burgers were flavorful and piping hot with melty cheese. The chicken sandwich was also blistering hot in a good way and the sauce and pickles were the best combination for this sandwich. There's some seating indoors and a bit of an outdoor area for seating as well. Hot cheeseburgers in the winter never tasted better!
Simply delicious! First time dining at Shake Shack and this experience did not disappoint. Pleasantly surprised by the quality of patty which was seasoned and grilled to perfection. Cheese fries was also a hit and we washed it all down with a chocolate shake. Yum! On top of that, the staff was extremely friendly and hospitable. Thank you!
Crowded place, because popular. Shake's Burger and cheese fries are better then in other brands as usual. But cashier on that spot was not polite. She has seen that a client could not speak English well and instead of assistance rushed me with a choice.
Stopped by Shake Shack in the heart of NYC and was blown away! The burgers were juicy and flavorful, and those crinkle-cut fries? Absolute perfection. Can't leave without mentioning their rich and creamy shakes – a total game-changer. An iconic spot in the city that truly lives up to the hype. Can't wait to be back!
Great burgers and shakes, lot of outdoor seating as well as indoor and nice staff.
We had the chicken shack and the shack stack (cheeseburger and shroom burger patties) and both were pretty good. The Chicken shack while more expensive than McDonald's felt more tasty to me, but Chick-fil-A chicken burger is slightly better.
We also had the black and white shake which was quite good and they allowed us to split it into two cups to share it.
Smells delicious as I get nearby. Staff is right there welcoming you in and keeping things in order which was nice. She’s taking to go orders or you may choose to dine in. Service was good. I really like the burgers here. Tried out their summer pina punch with hot honey chicken bites and some cheese fries. The punch was ok. The chicken was hot and crispy. Wasn’t as spicy as I was thought and you can definitely taste the honey.

The place and the atmosphere are a bit dirty, not a typical SS feeling due to the basement character and low natural light. The toilets are always occupied and mostly dirty.
Sadly, there is no place where to change the baby's diapers or cloth.

Yummy!! Quick and great service! Friendly staff too. Our group had the Smoke shack burgers, chicken bites, Chicken shack sandwich and Oreo shakes and triple chocolate shake - all delicious! Not too expensive either!
I visited this location twice. Its not a huge place but space is pretty decent on the inside. They have an outdoor seating area that seems like a courtyard so during great weather you can eat outdoors if you'd like. At time this place does get busy and the staff is pretty straight forward in helping you, taking orders, and serving you your food at the pick-up counter. Drinks and condements are self serve like in most fast food places. Wait time to recieve food was not bad at all during both my visits and food can be warm or cold if you don't respond quickly to your buzzing device as it sits on the counter waiting for you to arrive and pick-up. The food was good during both visits and the place is clean and organized, there are Restrooms and a handicap accessible entry, but no Parking area. I'd definitely comeback to this location. Hands down it’s my favourite location in the city. Have both dined in and ordered takeout from here.
There’s usually a queue upon entering but I usually take the short time to figure out exactly what I want. Wait time is not too long and you watch them freshly prepare your food. Delivery, on the other hand, always arrives extremely quickly.
I absolutely adore their shack burgers. I’ve never had a bad tasting or even a bad looking one in all the years I’ve been. The beef is of a good quality and the lettuce and tomato are fresh and crisp. The patties are well seasoned. The chicken sandwich is also very tasty too- honestly, it’s definitely one of the better fast food chicken sandwiches out there.
Their milkshakes are always on point. Literally every single one of them are so good.
Only downside really are their fries. I’ve never been a fan of them, and I find them really hit and miss. To me, even on their best days, the fries are only just OK and nothing special.
