My God this place has the best chef ever, we had the best food so delicious there is no words to describe how wonderful this place is if you have the chance just go don't private your self from it. you will miss out big time
Everything we had was over the top delicious with superb presentation and service.
Red pepper and walnut dip was so creamy with a hint of spice. We ate it with the tandoor bread. Do it.
We shared the pea dumplings. Exquisite. Perfect balance of acid and creaminess with a hint of crunch provided by the small pieces of sugar snap peas.
Two main courses were shared. Shiitake mushroom and asparagus on a bed of creamy polenta. Giant trumpet mushroom with spring morels. Both were superb.
The profiteroles with melted Mexican chocolate sauce and raspberry sauce was sublime.
We ate there Sunday and prior to leaving we made a reservation for Tuesday.

Sooooo delicious! Everything was amazing, from the cocktail to the entree. We were so full, we didn't have room for dessert. What an incredible surprise to stumble upon this place in my neighborhood. Service excellent and friendly. Food, out of this world, the mushroom entree.....we will be back very soon!
Always amazing. Food delicious, staff informed & attentive. Worth every penny.
Have been here a handful of times and still get excited every time I go back.
Quality vegan food is hard to find, but Nix takes on the challenge with class and finesse
It will be very hard to top this dining experience. Incredible food, service, wine and ambience.
We had a fantastic dinner at Nix two days ago. Nix is a lovely place with beautiful interior design and tableware, good service and excellent, well presented vegetarian food. Worth its Michelin star and we'll be back.
First visit; celebrating a friend’s birthday. Everyone at the table (4 of us) tremendously enjoyed our selections. I had the “Egg in the hole, white cheddar, avocado and brioche toast” - SUPER. And our table also shared 3 rounds (we kept on asking for more) Tandoor bread with 3 dips. A great fine - this fine Michelin Star restaurant!
I've never been one for Vegan fare, but the food here was amazing. Get the Red Pepper dip, and the Cauliflower Tempura. Thank me later
Great location in Manhattan (near Union Square), great service, and food to die for: Vegetarian or vegan dishes which are deliciously prepared. I mean it when I say their food is delicious, I'm a spoiled foodie with a demanding taste.
From bread to hummus to curry sauce, all of the about 10 dishes I've tried were magnificent.
No wonder why from staff members to customers, everyone looks healthy and hot.
That's the spirit of Nix!
Unbelievable. Great hospitality and tremendously innovative food!! Happy New Year! #theyearofthetomato #itsaveg
Excellent all around. Great food served by warm professional staff. Loved it!
I can’t say enough about Nix. Fabulous flavors, beautiful presentation, expert service. Worthy of its Michelin star!
I love this place . Delicious, beautiful and healthy.
Absolutely a must eat when in town! Everything was beyond amazing and the service was amazing!
The most incredible vegan brunch, the best tofu scramble I’ve ever eaten - actually had to check with the waitress we hadn’t accidentally been given scrambled egg. The pancake was also amazing. One of the vegan highlights of our trip.
Every time we go to Nix the food, drinks and service is great. They have inventive ecclectic vegan and vegetarian food that is inspired by many different food cultures without talking into any tired tropes. The menu is simple but with great options, novel combinations and great seasonal ingredients. We try to go every time we're in New York.
Fantastic meal from start to finish! Our waiter Dave was charming and on point as were all of the staff. Our food and cocktails were all interesting and delicious. The room has great energy. I didn’t take photos of all the dishes we ordered because I dug in to the others without pausing! The proof of our 5 stars is we made a reservation for our next meal there before we left.
It gets 4 stars on the back of that mouth watering Bamboo Rice which none of us could get enough of and so we ended up ordering one more! Otherwise it was just decent fare, the cocktails were nothing special and the desserts also didn't wow. The cauliflower dish was way too saucy and the bread was Meh. The egg salad and Burrata was very nice and packed a lot of flavor and is a must try.
We had an amazing Valentine’s day dinner here! Modern and nicely lit restaurant. Have been here before and the menu and service did not disappoint. Cocktails and the delicious wine was on point! Food was fantastic. We did the vegan menu which left us feeling satisfied, full, and very happy. Next time we will definitely get a corner table for more intimacy. Our favorite on the Vday prix fixe was the carrot bolognese. It was out of this world! So much flavor, crunch, heartiness and straight up deliciousness.
Food is absolutely delicious. I love steak and meat all day, but the Mexican-Indian influence really works. Great flavors and really unique dishes! If you are offered the tandoori pineapple for dessert just say yes; you won't regret it.
Great atmosphere and decor. Staff was friendly and always had a smile on their face. Every dish felt like it was served with love. Food was tasty in their own unique ways. Definitely worth the price.
Our starters were really amazing, the dumplings some of the best I’ve ever tried and the papadums with guac was so good. The rest of the food was a bit spicier then expected but still tasty. I didn’t like the chocolate cake which is unusual for being me.
Our server did two mistakes but I think it was just one of those days for him and they fixed all the mistakes very fast!
Place is super cozy!!!
It's a great place to impress your vegetarian and vegan friends, but it's not going to disappoint the meat-eaters too. There's a separate vegan menu, but the servers pay close attention to mixed groups so that even breads/buns come out unbuttered for the vegan patrons. The menu lists lighter and bolder items. The "lighter" dishes are comparable to an appetizer (but they can sometimes upsize for a charge, just ask) and the "bolder" dishes are comparable to an entree (though still on the smaller side). The egg salad with habanero cream and potato crispies is a fun take on deviled eggs, and the cauliflower tempura with steamed buns has been the most popular entree by far. Come with a group and sample lots of dishes. Oh, and it just earned a Michelin star, NBD.
Had an amazing waitress who was super attentive, funny and giving great recommendations. Food was absolutely amazing, I want to come back to try everything else. I'm not vegetarian and actually didn't even realize this was a vegetarian restaurant. So good!
We went to Nix as part of our vacation and it happened to be during dining week.
I have to give them 4 since this is a Michelin restaurant and it didn’t feel like it.
The food was as expected. Nothing too fancy or interesting and we barely got an introduction to it. The waiter brought our food out and that was it.
They were friendly but most of the time when eating at a Michelin restaurant you want to experience everything instead of being let to yourself.
Didn’t know how much I could enjoy vegetarian dishes! Everything at this place is made to perfection and is absolutely delicious. As my entree, I got the cauliflower tempura which was paired with steam buns. The service and location are also hard to beat, overall a great experience.
Amazing restaurant with amazing food and service. The food was extremely flavorful and each dish tasted different and good on its own. When we entered the restaurant, we were caught by surprise with how packed this restaurant was for a Tuesday evening 8pm. To start we ordered a glass of wine and a Baja (tasted interesting). The servings are made to share hence we ordered an appetizer, a lighter dish and two bolders. The first order was Tandoor Bread and Red Pepper & Walnut dip. The bread was really soft and the dip was creamy and very flavorful. Broccoli-artichoke dumplings, kohlrabi, ginger & scallion oil - the dumplings were cooked very well and tasted interesting with the touch of broccoli. For the bolders, we ordered Cauliflower tempura with steamed buns & house pickles and three grain risotto, melted turnips, ricotta, mushroom broth. The cauliflower tempura was AMAZING while on the other hand risotto tasted very interesting with the grain touch and I felt it could’ve had a little more flavor. In all, an excellent restaurant with amazing food options. (Three grain risotto picture missing)
Everything's plated beautifully, everything is vegan or vegetarian, the people are wonderful, the restaurant looks inviting, and most important of all the food is too delicious to even comprehend. This is a restaurant not to miss out on! Make sure to order the caramelized pineapple in the beginning because it takes 45 minutes to cook. Some other important things to order would be the snap pea dumplings, the jicama spiral, and hummus with za'atar, baba ganoush, roasted pita bread. This was a fabulous restaurant even if you are not vegan or vegetarian, make sure to swing down there the next time you are in New York!
The food is always great, as is the atmosphere. I love that the entire menu is vegetarian but I wish more of their options could be vegan. Really loved the Dreamcatcher drink!
