Personally I love the style of this place, there is a sort of balanced elegance. The food is excellent, normal size portion with good assortments. Not bad at all the wine list. Perfect place for a light lunch or for a dinner enjoying the life music (but still you can have a conversation).
We were from out of state and this was our first time to Soho and The Antique Garage . The staff was awesome , the food amazing and what a lovely ambvience .. definitely recommend it and would visit again
The most awesome little informal jazz spot anywhere - with great food! Lends new meaning to the phrase "world's best kept secret"! Truly hip international clientelle, and it happens to be in New York City.
On our first visit to NY 2 years ago, my Dad, Fiancée and I stumbled upon this wonderfully unique and amazing restaurant. We were exhausted, excited, hungry beyond belief at this point on a cold day in February. We were greeted with exceptional service, the food end drinks were out of this world and we felt a sense of home although we were visiting from our small city, Pittsburgh. The owner happened to be standing next to us talking with one of his servers and we started chatting it up with him, he was so friendly and took interest in us as we did with him and his amazing little restaurant. Shortly after he went back to the kitchen, made us a few appetizers and brought us all a drink -- all on the house!!! What a wonderful way to welcome us and what an amazing way to do business, thank you again for your hospitality! We will never forget you or this amazing restaurant and I apologize I did not write a review sooner!!! Business owners and patrons take note...this is a one of a kind establishment and owner!!! Greetings from your friends in Pittsburgh!!
Cozy restaurant with great food. Extra plus for the live piano music!
Love the place, the food, wine, atmosphere and the love piano. Recommended!
It's very beautiful and good restaurant! It's good for dating, family. of course only myself. They have bar counter. You must be enjoy!!!
Food is excellent. Prepared and presented beautifully and their whiskey cocktails...to die for! Cool ambiance with an ever cooler jazz trio.
Great atmosphere. Food was on point. Skinny Kenny was awesome entertainment.
Great food, great service and great live music! Perfect place for a laid back Tuesday night dinner.
Best ever! Good Food, excellent service and staff, cool place. 😃👍
Excellent food, amazing service. A great place to eat.
Good food, lamb is a solid choice if you're trying this place. Lamb meatballs with sides is hearty, or go with the baby lamb chops. The sauce matches it well.
Nice place for a saturday's brunch. The place was a garage, so had a big entrance and have a lot mismatching stuff, in a good way, the food is really good and well served. There are a long table and others smallers, sofas, different chairs and really good live music.
The eggplant salad is good!

Imagine dining in a former auto-repair shop garage stuffed with antiques. That’s exactly what the Antique Garage is, in Soho… and with good food. If you go, don’t miss the Mediterranean meze ($24). This one has the typical hummus, tzatziki and smoked eggplant puree, but also offers an herbed Shephard’s salad of tomato, onion & cucumber, a spicy chili blend and “Circassian” (boiled, pulled) chicken, the latter was the only miss, as it was too flavorless for me. Those six dishes come with toasted pita chips, long thin dolmas and savory lightly fried cheese-filled borek.
Great bar steak. Stopped there on a cold March evening without reservations. We were seated at a large communal table (there were 3 of us and many open 4 tops). We ordered drinks which were strong but I think they were reaching too far to be inventive. They were good but not great. And the Pimm's cup was a fail.
The food, however, was delicious. We split a borek for appetizer. The cheese was salty and the phylo dough was crispy. It was a good appetizer and made us hungry for more. We tried the bar steak (cooked perfectly medium rare, large portion and the fries were crispy. It was served with a bowl of tatziki which was unnecessary in my opinion). The Mediterranean pasta for my vegetarian friend was ok but not too memorable. For a vegetarian dish there was not enough veggies in it - especially for that price. However, the Manti dumplings were fantastic. The beef and the sauce was just right with some spice that was cooled by the yogurt sauce. Definitely delicious.
I liked the atmosphere - it really felt like a homey place. The decor and mismatched plates added to the charm without being too cheesy. Definitely a good spot for a delicious dinner in Soho. I might return to try their brunch dishes.
A place to spend your afternoon. Decor is awesome, and the bland playing was, well...Vintage Sound. The mixed drinks were nice and different combos, and the food was good too. Definitely a place to drink, eat and chat comfortably.
4/5 Stars. Stumbled upon this place while shopping in SoHo. We had brunch--the chicken panini for me and the seared tuna salad for my boyfriend. Cozy place, friendly staff, not too crowded. Great Turkish coffee.
Walked into this place cold for lunch on a Sunday. Good food, nice decor. Atmosphere was complemented by a old time jazz band playing. Really quite pleasant.
Cool atmosphere. Great place.
Exquisite menu and superb atmosphere
I used to be that girl who made her mother order French Onion Soup so that I could pull off the melted cheese, dangle it high up in the air, and drop it into my mouth. I love the sight, the smell, and the taste of melted cheese. Yes, even manufactured, pa
Antique Garage is a fantastic a blend of traditional and contemporary flavors in a setting reminiscent of a quaint European bistro. Our family was immediately welcomed with warmth and friendliness, especially towards our children, making the ambiance inviting and homely.
We started with hummus and chicken skewers, which were a delightful mix of creamy and savory. My wife’s choice of steak was succulent and well-seasoned, showcasing the chef’s skill. My main course, the spicy beef and pita, was flavorful and tender, although less spicy than expected, but still delicious.
Every aspect of our dining experience was marked by attention to detail - from the elegantly plated dishes to the charming decor, creating a cozy and nostalgic atmosphere. The only suggestion for improvement would be a bit more heat in the spicy beef to satisfy those who enjoy spicier flavors.
In summary, a perfect blend of delectable food, a warm atmosphere, and outstanding service.
We often visit Antique Garage for brunch. This was the first time I visited for dinner.
The food is truly delicious and wonderful! You really can't go wrong with any meal.
Great atmosphere with live music on a Saturday night. Surprisingly they had open seats and no line.
The food was good but not as great as the space would make you believe.
We shared the food family style, so I got to try quite a few different ones and I recommend the lamb skewer as it was the best option. The bread was also quite tasty.
Would go back for the atmosphere.
All of the dishes we ordered (steak, tuna, chicken kebab) were great. Cooked perfectly and flavor packed. To make it even better the ambiance was perfection with a great jazz band. Recommend for a date spot!
Great Turkish restaurant in our neighborhood! Delicious food, fresh ingredients and authentic recipes. Great cozy ambiance. Large selection of wines. Great for a friends get together or dates. Their baklava was as good as the ones you would have in Türkiye!
Fancy Mediterranean restaurant in the heart of Soho. Interior design is one of a kind, good food but not super impressive. Staff is very kind and friendly. Art on the walls and the music creates a dazzling atmosphere. We got their Turkish breakfast platter and the mixed appetizer platter, both of which turned out to be yummy. Sucuk was good but we had suspicions about how well the eggs were cooked. Salmon fume asparagus by far our fave. Mixed meze platter comes with cheese rolls, make sure you taste them, they slay. Farmers omelette was just okay imo. Overall great experience, Soho prices. Worth a visit.
This place is a hidden gem. The food and service is outstanding. From host to servers, all the staff were absolutely lovely, professional and helpful. The lovely Turkish bartender lady made us amazing cocktails.
Exceptional drinks, apps, dinners and desserts. I went there with my non-Turkish friends and I didn’t know the restaurant is owned by a Turkish chef until we arrived to the restaurant. So it was a proud moment for me to find out this great Mediterranean restaurant has Turkish touches. We will come back! Highly recommended.
We ordered: mixed meze platters (hummus, tzatziki, circassian chicken tarama, muhammara, fava spread and assorted boreks), MANTI(steam minced beef dumplings topped with yogurt and tomato sauce), Sultan’s Delight (mix grilled Adana, lamb chop, lamb shish and chicken kebabs), Kalamari, grilled octopus, Ceviche, Bar steak and mixed desserts.
Favorite: grilled octopus ( melting in my mouth)

Ambience: 5 (romantic, restaurant)
Price: 4 (reasonable for the food quality)
Quality of food: 5 (fresh and tasty)
Service: 5
Overall: 5
Fun little spots in the heart of Soho. They can get quite busy so make sure you book a reservations. Slightly overpriced for what you get (story of New York 😅). The service was friendly but they missed multiple requests that we had in regards to how we want our drinks and how we want our eggs, so not very attentive.
Very beautiful interior. Food and drinks taste great despite rather small portions of food. The mango mezcalita drink is super refreshing and highly recommended.
Overall great experience! The cocktails were great. We tried most of them. The little tenderness is on the bitter side. We had mixed meze platter for appetizer! It was delicious. We had the lamb Shish kebab also very good! The service was great. We originally sat at one table and noticed a nice corner table. They allowed us to switch once the guest were gone. I would definitely recommend.
Small space but very beautiful and cozy for a nice romantic date night. Loved the decor and ambience. Great service, all the waiters are very attentive. The bar is pretty small not enough room at the bar. Let me just talk about the food! It was so delicious and tasty. Everything I had this exotic meditereanean flavor. Overall everything was great, just a small space but the food and service overlooks that
This is a unique experience. My wife and I are both Turkish and we both missed the Turkish Cuisine and dining culture. We had meze platter(hummus, tzatziki, Circassian chicken, muhammara, tarama). Circassian chicken is just shredded chicken with a sauce on top but rest of the mezes were fine. We had shepherds salad 🥗 and it was great. After that we had Beyti Kebab and it was delicious and the star of the night ⭐️. For the dessert we had pistachio baklava and it was not the best. Interior design makes you feel like you’re really into something Antique and our waiter Sezgin was an amazing guy and so helpful. 10/10 recommended but it’s a little pricey 💵
It was an excellent experience for me and my family. I'll try to come back again. Staff was so friendly and warm. Thank you!!!
Came here for date-night! The ambiance on a Friday night was very trendy/fun.The food was delicious, id esp recommend the mixed mezze. However waited 15-20minutes to be seated even though we had reservations.
Ok for the neighborhood, but overpriced overall with respect to manhattan. The restaurant as it's name suggest is a converted carriage garage. The wait staff was somewhat attentive and the dished delicious.
The service is fantastic. All waiters are very friendly and attentive; your happiness is their priority, that’s for sure.I like the ambiance of the place; it was cozy and well decorated. How about food? OMG, it was de-li-cious! We couldn’t stop eating and drinking.

Upscale! Staff is ready! Met us outside and helped with our dinner choices before entering the lovely chandelier-lit eatery. The place is amazing! Jazz starts at 7 PM must make reservations. Seafood so delish and fresh!
Decor is amazing. A few too many lamb items on menu compared to everything else, but still fabulous overall. Will return.
