We were looking for a restaurant on a Friday when we stumbled upon The Little Beet Table, a place located few steps from the Flatiron that focusses on local ingredients, mostly vegetarian, with only few non-vegetarian dishes. Their menu is interesting as the plates show some creativity: it is not an after thought and, for a carnivore like me, quite satisfying. Here are the dishes we tried:
..ate here a couple of times when I was in New York.loved the food, all on point.lovely and relaxing atmosphere, friendly staff, reasonable price.

The Little Beet Table is the upscale cousin of the fast casual The Little Beet. TLBT is 100% gluten-free, and can accommodate other restrictions/allergies too. The food is modern and takes inspiration from seasonal flavors. Read my full review for more detail

I had dinner here Memorial Day weekend. I thought the decor was lovely, and food was really amazing. I had the salmon, my friend had fish but wasn't happy the vegetables were served cold with hot fish. We also had pasta, shrimp plus desserts. I was very pleased with everything, the only negative was the cold veggie. I would dine here again for sure.
A friend had just returned from abroad and needed sustenance. She likes The Little Beet and so we went there. This is a casual eatery specializing in organic fare and is popular with the younger crowd who either don't cook or work long hours and want to eat healthy.
The Little Beet offers a protein with two sides. So this could be a choice of steak, chicken or salmon. Two vegetarian protein options are also available- tofu and a vegetable cutlet. All the sides are freshly made and choices abound like roasted sweet potatoes sprinkled with pecorino cheese, broccoli, golden beets, lentils and quinoa to name a few. Salads and rolls similar but larger than sushi along with breakfast are also options to consider.
My friend had her usual of chicken with green beans and roasted fennel and kale topped with roasted carrots. I had a delicious cauliflower soup. We also drank organic Spindrift sodas in raspberry lime and grapefruit.

The Little Beet Table is an outcome of the huge success of Franklin Beckerâs Little Beet â a quick and casual vegetable driven spot.
As Becker saw New Yorkers taking to the idea of healthy, wholesome meals on the run, he decided to sit them down and them chew on their veggies in his new full service spot.
Vegetables are not all they serve up at The Little Beet Table. There are carefully composed seafood and meat dishes too.
One of my absolute favorites was their âSlow Cooked Salmonâ â a definite specialty of the house. Not only does Becker throw all your good fats at you in one dish with heart healthy avocados and pistachios but it is also executed to perfection.
I love that Little Beet Table is so dedicated to wholesome and healthy food thatâs is packed with flavor. Their menu is 100% gluten-free and everything tastes so good!
Looking for a fantastic gluten-free place? Look no further, just come here. Since everything on the menu is gluten-free, you don't have to ask any questions, or search for meals that don't have any hidden wheat. The food was so fresh and delicious, I could have eaten two meals. I settled on the salad and roasted carrots and wasn't disappointed. While I'm only in town for another few hours, I may have to go back as the food was just that good.
The Little Beet Table is the full service offshoot of its fast casual counterpart, The Little Beet (read my review of The Little Beet here)Â The success of The Little Beet, coupled with requests for a sit-down restaurant where gluten-free patrons could enjoy a glass of wine or cocktail, inspired Chef Becker to open The Little Beet Table on Park Avenue South. Its extensive menu is also 100% gluten free.
Why Come Here? Fancy food thatâs also light & healthy, lots of vegetarian options, gluten free, you want to dine with a lot of girls The Little Beet Table describes itself as âGuiltinâ Freeâ which should give you some idea what youâre getting into. Yes, itâs one of those âhealthyâ restaurants thatâs gluten-free and has lots of simply prepared vegetable-driven dishes. But donât go thinking this is another place thatâs just a bunch of quinoa salads and roasted beets (though they do offer those, of course). Pastas, flatbreads, a burger and some pretty good cocktails all find there way onto the menu here. Itâs a combination that seems to be working well; good luck getting a table on less than a few days notice. Inside, âLBTâ looks like your cool artist friendâs loft. High ceilings are supported by conspicuous columns and tables made of reclaimed wood with mismatched chairs. There is lots of exposed brick covered in things like plants and paintings that looks like half a newspaper got stuck on them. Also like your cool artist friendâs loft, itâs packed with women. Seriously, my brother and I were the only table without a representative of the opposite sex. If youâve got restaurant game, move this to the top of your list. Overall, this means The Little Beet Table will loved by some and somewhere between enjoyed and tolerated by the rest. Itâs a place to be seen eating healthy (which is sort of what I imagine every restaurant in LA being like). And if youâre vegetarian, gluten free or just looking to eat lighter meals, it has enough diversity you could eat here several times a week. But while the food is good, be advised most of it is not quite âI forgot Iâm eating healthy good.â Below are my thoughts on what we tried: Tender Shrimp If garlic and chili are your thing, this is your dish. While the shrimp were good, we continued picking at the sauce covered chickpeas long after the last was gone.
Reservation Person was really nice and helped with adjusting my reservation.
The menue was really focused and providing solid options for different dietary restrictions.
We order all the appetizers and all the mains, really enjoyed all the appetizers and the mains.
Food was very fresh and well made, felt really clean after and satisfied.
Servers were very friendly, but I think some people called out so they were a bit overwhelmed đ
But we appreciated everything!!

I booked a table for 2 at midday, which was the perfect time for us. The restaurant has super cool art by the UR collective. I ordered a MUSHROOM & BLACK BEAN BURGER, and it was delicious and flavorful.
Delicious. Great location on Park Ave. Amazing GF options. Everything was light and fresh and healthy, but it all tasted absolutely wonderful. The pesto pizza appetizer was to die for. Highly recommend! 4 people came to about $200 with two appetizers, two teas, one prosecco, three mains and one soup plus tip. The waitress was incredibly nice.
Had dinner with a friend yesterday evening. The food was fresh, simply cooked, perfectly seasoned and elegantly presented. The service was excellent. The prices were reasonable for a farm to table restaurant.
Quiet, clean atmosphere with friendly staff and good food. I appreciated the vegetable dishes and flexibility with accommodating allergens. I enjoyed a salad with the crispy skin salmon (so good!) and the vegetable sides of the Brussel sprouts, carrots, and roasted potatoes. The roasted potatoes were my favorite. The Brussel sprouts, I thought, were undercooked.
Went in with a friend on a Saturday afternoon. This is a very cozy restaurant and was easy to find a spot. The menu has a tonne of vegan and vegetarian options. The egg dishes are amazing and are a must try!
This place is awesome. Relaxed, modern vibe with deliciously healthy food. We got the crispy spirulina rice and shrimp salad with a blood orange margarita. But everything on the menu looks wonderful. Will definitely be coming back
Great cozy neighborhood restaurant with friendly service.
The menu has a lot of great healthy food options and fresh ingredients. There are also some great drinks (both with and without alcohol). Definitely worth a visit for a nice meal.
This is a great restaurant for healthy options or gluten-free/vegan foods. I got the burger with roasted sweet potatoes and it was tasty. It has a very cute ambiance and is in a great location as well. Customer service was excellent.
I've dined several times at at Little Beet Table and I can confidently say it's a fantastic restaurant. As someone who has to eat gluten-free, it can be difficult to find restaurants with great options, but Little Beet Table exceeds all expectations. The staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating, always happy to answer questions about the menu and make recommendations. I've tried almost everything on the menu and loved it all; they make gluten-free food taste SO perfect. I think my favorite is their veggie burger. For anyone with dietary restrictions looking for delicious food and exceptional service, this is your spot.
