Enjoyed my dinner here twice within a week.
Food is fantastic, flavourful but not too overpowered. Cocktails are good and fair price too (consider Soho area, dinner spot)
I personally love their jerk corn, the balance with spicies is on point! A little bit sweet with the spicy kick in the end with the crispy coconut chips on top. 10/10!
Very pleased and will visit again.
Oh man, Miss Lily's is doing EVERYTHING right! I visited the Soho location and made a reservation online a week before. Since my family and I were finished with out activities for the day, I called Miss Lily's an hour and a half before our reservation time to ask if it was okay to come early and they were able to accommodate.
If you're looking for endless vibes, good music and tasty food/drinks this is your place! We started off with some apps; the codfish fritters and the hot pepper shrimp. Both we're really good especially with the sauces. For drinks, I ordered a ginger beer, my sister ordered the pure passion margarita and my cousin ordered the duty wine sangria. Drinks were delish especially the pure passion.
For our entrees, I had to get the vegetable roti which was AMAZING! My sister ordered the same thing with a side of mac and cheese. My cousin ordered the jerk chicken with rice and peas and jerk french fries. Our food was phenomenal!
Towards the end of our dinner, a DJ arrived playing the jams!
These are the types of spot that make NYC. I loved my experience at Miss Lily’s and I can't wait to come back!
We had two appetizers and three entrees.
Chicken wing was great but shrimp was just OK.
Jark - Salmon and pork - were great with great side dishes.
Goat stew was amazing too.
I had sangria, it was great too.
Staff were very friendly and attentive. I would definitely come back for another dishes.
I am vacationing in NYC and my girlfriend, who's a local, said I absolutely had to stop by Miss Lily's and I'm glad I did!
The food is mainly Jamaican and Jamaican-inspired with a Lily's twist. I ended up getting the shrimp and rice dish and I practically inhaled it. The blend of herbs and spices were perfect. The shrimp was plump and savory. The roti (bread) was buttery and flakey. I don't usually finish most dishes down to the plate, but this was the exception.
My girlfriend got the Jerk Chicken and it basically fell off the bone! Their jerk recipe is great. I'd recommend this dish for basically anyone interested in Miss Lily's. I think it's a flagship.
Service was also satisfactory. While the ambiance was a bit loud (I liked that; it was also later in the evening), our waitress constantly made sure we had what we needed. Everyone in there seemed to be having a really good time. The food came out quick too.
All in all, this place was an absolute HIT! 🔥 The vibes were great, and most importantly the food was mouth-watering! I'll definitely go again and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone in the area or traveling to NYC.
Very nice place for brunch and dinner. Good portions, food has flavor from start to finish. Would recommend coming back if you're in the area. The birthday display and music is a good festive event.
A cute, chill, spot with some lovely veggie options. I had the vegetable roti which was so decadent and delicious, took almost half of it home with me. The coconut pancakes were also super yummy and the texture was really nice. A single use plastic container was used for hot sauce which I was sad about. Loved the food and vibe and wil be back!
A small and popular place with a bar seating. Good food and service. We came here particularly for jerked chicken, but had a lot more. It was a lot of fun. There is also seating outside so you can enjoy start of the season. Book ahead so you will not wait a long time for a table.
I visiting Miss Lily's for a Saturday brunch. I ordered the jerk pork belly hash which had an incredible balance of sweet, heat, and salt. I ended up sitting at the bar, and the bartender was extremely friendly and did a great job explaining the intricacies of the menu. If you are looking for a unique brunch experience, then I think Miss Lily's is a great options! Side note.......I did not have any alcoholic beverages, but they appeared to be a hit with the other diners!
That Jamaican curry shrimp was amazing. Super flavorful.
Also shared jerk chicken, good, thought the mango chutney was interesting.
Jerk corn too, no complaints.
I went there for lunch the other day and it was lovely. The waitress was smiley, helpful and over all perfect. We started with the wings which were delicious, and the shrimp that we saw when we walked in on an other and they looked so appetizing that we had to try them... With no regrets. Then the fish sandwich which was delicious and the fries that came with it were addictive for me and sadly my table. I will for sure come back and bring people to give the chance to have a great meal, to listen to some good vibe music... To basically have a great time. Thank you.
