The service is fast and friendly. Our server was Shay. Not sure of the spelling. She gave great recommendations. They have great happy hour items. We went at 4pm on a Friday and didn't have to wait to be seated. It was still pretty full though. The cosmo, red sangria, and chocolate delight were delicious drinks. I had the shepherd's pie, which was good. Shay recommended the fish and chips too. I wish I had tried that. My husband had the turkey club with waffle fries.

O’Donoghue’s is a well-established Irish Pub that has a welcoming sports theme and a causal lounge-like vibe. I loved the customer service waitress, who patiently explained the orders my sibling and I wanted, and delivered them in style. I especially loved the BBQ Wings and the Angry Orchard Hard Cider, both bursting with Irish signature flavor. I would go back and eat a heartier meal just to casually watch the sports I used to see with my dad growing up. Politeness and gratitude are key to a smooth service.

Perfect location, great bar with a lot of drink options. Food options were pretty fun looking but we concentrated on drinking lol. Lots of tvs to watch whatever game on with a lot of bar seating and tables for dining. There is an outside patio as well for dining outside. The staff and bartenders are super nice it's been a pleasant visit.

14 women at the lunch hour and everything was perfect. We all enjoyed our food. Several BLTs with a generous amount of perfectly cooked bacon. A delicious chicken pot pie with the fluffiest pastry topping, a very hearty serving of airy fish and chips, onion soup with bubbly cheese on top, burgers cooked exactly as requested. A few pints of Guinness, Nutty Irishman and sodas all around. Our server was attentive checking on us and brought refills promptly. The bar was full as was the dining area. Comfortable seating, friendly servers as well as a very welcoming bartender and several hostesses. The only bad thing is that it’s not near our home so we could go more often. Thank you for a perfect lunch. Can’t wait to go back. All 14 women thoroughly enjoyed their food and highly recommend our new find.

I got the crab cakes and they were delicious! Definitely a smaller portion than I expected, but the taste and mango salsa that came with it made up in quality. My friend got the fish and chips, which was a generous serving size. It was very busy and crowded, but had a cool atmosphere that I would expect in an actual Irish pub.

We booked a table for 8 guests to celebrate my daughters 21st birthday. We were so thrilled with the welcome from Fergal and Amy who looked after us all night. We had some fantastic food and great cocktails. The staff joined in on the festivities and made it extra special. We returned almost every day after for the duration of our stay in New York. Every day we were welcomed and every day we had great food. Manager Helen gave us some great tips on where to go and what to see. We were looked after so well. Walking in the door felt like coming home after a long day's sightseeing. On our last day Sharon looked after us too and again the service was first class. Helen is an absolute lady, so attentive and professional. There's live music a few times a week too and there's a great atmosphere. If you're looking to experience a genuine, authentic Irish bar just go straight to O'Donoghues. This is exactly the kind of bar you'll find in any town in Ireland, there's nothing fake about it. We went in on Monday not knowing anyone and left on Thursday leaving new friends behind. I highly recommend a visit, and if you do call in make sure to say the Dublin girls sent you. Slainte

Always a great time here, fave pub in Manhattan. It's right by Times Square but you feel nicely separated from the insanity in here. Always load of celtic folk that bring the energy and social vibes you want in a pub, staff included

Lively pub steps from Times Square. Good menu with the typical pub fare. Highly recommend the chicken pot pie. Very busy on weekends and I don’t recommend sitting near the front door in winter (very cold draft). The staff are friendly and attentive. It’s my go to pub when in the city. Ps: the cosmopolitan is also tasty! I’ll be back for sure!

Great food and atmosphere! I had the fish and chips, it was cooked to perfection! My husband had the Shepards pie and my daughter had the lobster ravioli, the sauce was fantastic and the Shepards pie was well seasoned. I had the mango mojito 👌

A perfect down to earth pub right in the heart of times square. The prices were on point, they have an extensive menu and their food is great! I recommend their espresso martini. It was delish! I highly recommend.
