We had dinner here for a birthday celebration and everyone enjoyed the experience at Gigino’s. This was my second time dining here. The restaurant is in a great location with scenic views of Ellis Island, The Statue of Liberty, Jersey City and the Hudson River. Very picturesque location on a nice Spring or Summer evening. We enjoyed the ambiance and service. The caveat is that restaurant is a bit outdated and only has one restroom. However, the food in my opinion was delicious and tasty. Meal portions were acceptable but appetizers were of smaller portions but of good taste. Everyone had good things to say about their meals. The cocktails were also enjoyable. Our overall experience was pleasant and we were treated well for a large party.

Definitly the best restaurant I’ve been to that’s located in a park. The views are spectacular and there’s plenty of outdoor seating perfect for a lunch outing on a summer day. It is located next to the water so it never gets unbearably hot in the summer. The food was tasty and filling.

Beautiful sunset view from Battery Park toward Statue of Liberty in the distance. Food was top notch, our party of 6 had lovely Italian pasta & seafood dishes, as well as drinks & wine & dessert. The minus ⭐️ negative was the only one single unisex bathroom, since they relied on the public ones next door, that were closed by the end of our evening. Otherwise a very enjoyable dinner experience!

The great advantage of this place is location. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and got the best table just in front of Lady Liberty - and I want to thank the restaurant for this. Service was great, our server was very nice and pleasant also runners looked not so happy. Menu is not quite big but you will find everything you need, quality was pretty good (4 out of 5). The place is bit overpriced due to location again. If you look for romantic ambience and atmosphere I recommend this place.

Who knew? A tiny little Italian gem inside a concrete building with a great view of the Statue of Liberty. The pasta is fresh, the bread is definitely baked on-site, and the flavors are bright and delicious. The waitstaff were flexible, fast and friendly. Definitely worth stopping for a bite if you're in the area.

Worth it for the views! The food is great too! Where can you get mussels prepared four different ways, shrimp four different ways, salmon two ways, many pastas and at least ten different salads...

Tasty food & great views year round! Came in with a friend for lunch and we loved both our dishes. You could taste the quality of the pesto on the ravioli and the salmon was fresh and cooked perfectly. The service we received was excellent! Very welcoming and polite. Overall awesome place!

Lovely spot for al fresco dining overlooking the harbor and Statue of Liberty. Some prices high for what it is, could use more reasonable options on the wine list. Food is tasty, standard nyc Italian food. Came back a week later, delicious outdoor birthday dinner with 4 friends overlooking the harbor. Great appetizer special warm burrata and some veggies plus a classic chicken parmigiana

Where else can you get the best view of Lady Liberty while sipping on a frozen rosé? Only here! The pesto gnocchi was great, too. I will say that the place does seem run down, and hasn’t been updated in years (a shame). Since the primary reason to visit is for the views, try your best to get a table on the outskirts of the outdoor area (a table under the tented area felt stuffy), and avoid sitting inside, as the interior is mediocre.

Excellent pasta! Wonderful view. Outdoor seating available. Entrees between $20-$37. Kids menu available. Excellent service, although we went for a late lunch (1:30) and it got a bit busy. We never received the appetizer we ordered, but due to the portion sizes, it would have been too much for the table. Would go back again (sans kids).

Wagner Park overall offers a great environment to walk around and sight see. I loved that their was a restaurant at the end of the park over looking the lawn. From your table you can see lady liberty and Ellis Island. This restaurant offers quality services and food. I would recommend this restaurant for any occasion as it offers a great lunch menu, dinner menu, specials and cocktails. I find the restaurant to be an overall enjoyable experience.

Great place, in terms of location, good food and terrible coffee. I couldn’t imagine that espresso coffee and latte can be done so badly in Italian place. Good linguine alle Vongole, osobucco, House mozarella...

The view... and the del padrino pasta dish! AMAZING! GREAT FOR OUTDOOR DINING Very COVID friendly. Staff is excellent! I love dining here at Gigino at Wagner Park. Been here several times and each time It feels like it gets better an better. Food and ambiance is top notch. INCREDIBLE SUNSET VIEWS. BEST IN THE CITY! The del padrino pasta is their signature. Its a homemade beet infused pasta with escarole and lots of delicious vegetables. It's so good I didn't even m iss not having a protein in it. This picture doesn't can't show the decadence of the dish. Only downfall was watching the outdoor bar break down towards the end of the night, and ump all their ice water and miscellaneous water buckets directly on the path where people are walking. Not to mention right in front of tables as they dine. I am sure that there can be a better way to handle this, than directly in fron of your customers. Still give the restaurant five stars 🌟 So sad to see this great restaurant close its doors after Memorial day weekend. 😢
