This spot is known for innovative cocktails and an elegant, rustic atmosphere. With a happy hour special that offers a $2 discount off ANY alcoholic beverage, it’s no surprise that many residents think of it as their favorite neighborhood bar. Popular dishes include the crab cakes and lamb sliders (appetizers) and the 35-day dry-aged prime beef burger (entrée). The Grange is open for lunch and dinner daily, stays open late (4 a.m.!!!! but the kitchen closes earlier) and serves brunch on Saturdays and Sundays.

The boy and I get excited when new places open up in our neighborhoods - his moreso than mine, since Hamilton Heights, ever so abundant with fast food and fried fish (which are delicious!), lacks for some nicer fare. Enter The Grange Bar and Eatery , open for maybe a month or so now, fully cooking with gas (they initially opened with a "Coned menu" that required no heat).  The place is rustic and adorable and bustling with lots of white people, who are probably the only people really looking forward to this place in the neighborhood, because of their price point.   Some complaints have been made on Yelp and Facebook regarding their pricing.  The cocktails range from $10-$13 or so, beers come in tall glasses for $8, and the menu tops off in the mid-$20s range for the steak and fluke.  These prices are typical for anything in lower Manhattan, but are a bit upscale for the area. The best bang for your buck on the menu is the hamburger, a grass-fed blend of brisket, short rib and sirloin,

Amazing food! I was very impressed with the service. Our waiter was super nice. The waiters fill your glass before you even need to let them know! The mimosas... Omg tasty! I will definitely go again! It has clean bathrooms, and the set yo is so nice. Chill vibes, perfect for a date or brunch with your friends.

Come for brunch today but we didn't like the options very much. Last time we had dinner and love the foods. Will have to come back again for dinner. The service is excellent.

Delicious food. Brunch or dinner, no matter the meal. Great service, great drinks, GREAT price. Best time is to come Sunday night and get the roast dinner and listen to some jazz.

Arrived at 9:45am for brunch - no wait at all, although the restaurant was crowded by the time I was leaving at around 10:45am. Food was good and creative but not great. We had the almond French toast and the chicken and waffles. It seemed like several of the dishes were trying to do too much at once, so some of the flavor profiles were diminished. The cornbread waffle on its own was great. So was the fried chicken. But after layering on a fried egg and dousing it all with a cheesy sausage gravy, it lost any crispness it could have started with. The gravy really took over each bite. The almond French toast was straightforward and good. On prior occasions, we'd had the grilled cheese with tomato soup (which is a fantastic combo), but it isn't served on the brunch menu (only lunch/dinner/late night). Staff was helpful and very friendly.

A friend of mine wanted to do dinner in Harlem and asked me to look up places. I found this spot and we went with it because it had vegan options. When we arrived I put my name on a 20 minute waiting list. It took some time for us to find parking which is the story in NY. When we got to the restaurant it was a cute ambiance. We were served by a man named Vladimir and he was super nice and attentive. I order the sangria, which wasn't on the menu, and vegan bolognese. My friend ordered the sirloin and brisket burger and rose. I really liked my sangria and my friend said the rose was ok. When the food came out my friend's burger looked amazing and he enjoyed it. My food looked good too and it wasn't bad. I had to add hot pepper flakes for some spice. All in all we had a good experience.

I've stopped a couple times before for cocktails but never really for dinner and the cocktails have been pretty delicious. This time on a whim decided to go in for dinner and I wasn't disappointed. Our server, Tim, was very chill and seasoned and he took every opportunity to keep us in the know of the menu. The first round of drinks were great and delivered in a timely manner which is great on a busy Saturday night uptown. The appetizers were very tasty and perfect portion sizes. Definitely recommend the Pork Belly Sliders and the Truffle Mac & Cheese. The Pre-Fix option was truly a great value and I'm glad Tim pointed me into that direction. I ordered a perfectly cooked Steak Frites entree followed by a wonderful slice of cheesecake. I ended dinner with an excellent Espresso Martini.

One of my favorite restaurants in NYC. Great menu, amazing food, lovely cocktails, large selection of beers, great ambiance! My fiancé and I come here time and time again! Sundays they also have live jazz music which is very calming, before the start of the next busy week. We will be coming back here again for many years. ☺️

Came here for brunch with my partner and his friend. Such a great experience! First of all, the price is unbeatable! I believe it is around 30 for bottomless + main dish. Second, the food was delicious. They have indoor and outdoor seating which is nice. Highly recommend for Saturday or Sunday brunch!

The restaurant is open and has big windows along the side which let in lots of light. The food is delicious with the clear winner being the Walnut pasta. My kid who hates healthy food ate the vegetarian pasta without any issues even saying it was delicious. He is a lucky eater so this is a massive win. The burger was ok, I've had better burgers, this one was nothing special though I still enjoyed it.

This restaurant has been in the neighborhood for quite sometime. The restaurant itself is very spacious. It was my sorority's first official chapter meeting of the year and a few of us decided to "sisterly bond" since we haven't seen each other in many years. The wait was pretty long considering it was t crowded. We had the veggie + beef burger platters, which were nicely prepared and tasty. It was a nice experience and we enjoyed the spot However, it was bit pricey for a burger + fries for Hamilton Heights.

Service was amazing in this place and food with drinks were good and delicious. I would recommend to get those watermelon salad From cons: 1. It was super hot inside despite weather outside was cooler 2. Lava cake which we have ordered was something else but chocolate lava cake. With pieces of salty oranges on the top

Excellent dinner and cocktails. Large outdoor seating. Cocktails were delicious and well named. All the Hughes if you like Tequila For vegan/vegetarians: They had multiple vegetarian appetizer and entree options. I had a cauliflower steak which was very well flavored

Nice spot in Harlem! Went there for brunch and got the French toast and absolutely fell in love. The atmosphere here is amazing and I will definitely come back for dinner :). The servers are attentive and accommodating. If you're in the area I'd say definitely check it out.

Went to the grange on Sunday around 1045am (so pretty early for nyc brunch standards) and there were only bar / high top table seating available. No open regular tables. I was a bit surprised given the time but that just shows how popular this place is. As a party of only two we opted for the bar. They have music playing low in the background which is great so you don’t have to scream in order to have a conversation. we had a great bartender that kept our cups full and participated in conversation. I have been to the grange before during there awkward hours when you can’t order food but just drink (as they are prepping for dinner from 3-5p I believe) and had an equally great bartender. The bottomless brunch price of 39.50 is a great deal. The food was solid. I will totally be back. This is another great spot in Harlem.

Fantastic value for the prix fixe menu. Everything was delicious. I had the Mac and cheese to start following by the “deconstructed Cornish hen” which was essentially KBBQ wings, and the flourless chocolate cake. My wife had the salad and quinoa encrusted lamb with the same dessert. All very good, looking forward to coming back again!
