I recently had the privilege of dining at an observatory restaurant in the heart of Manhattan that exceeded all my expectations. The breathtaking panoramic views of the city's skyline coupled with impeccable service made for an unforgettable experience. However, it was the exceptional drinks that truly stole the show. The Old Fashioned cocktail, expertly crafted with precision and a perfect balance of flavors, was a sheer delight. Sipping on this timeless classic while taking in the mesmerizing views was a true highlight of the evening. As for the food, the oysters were incredibly fresh and served with a variety of delectable accompaniments that enhanced their natural brininess. The shrimp pasta, with its perfectly al dente noodles and succulent shrimp, was a symphony of flavors that transported me to coastal culinary paradise. This observatory restaurant proves that it's not just the breathtaking vistas, but also the exceptional drinks and superb food, that make it an absolute must-visit destination for both locals and tourists alike.
One Dine, perched atop the iconic skyscraper, the breathtaking panoramic views of the city are matched only by the exquisite dining experience. The modern and elegant ambiance sets the stage for a memorable meal. The menu, a fusion of sophistication and diverse flavors, caters to discerning palates. Attentive service enhances the overall dining experience. Whether enjoying brunch, lunch, or dinner, One Dine offers not just a meal but an elevated journey for those seeking a refined culinary adventure amidst the awe-inspiring backdrop of the World Trade Center. Truly a must-visit for those desiring a unique and upscale dining experience in the heart of Manhattan.
Beautiful views, as expected, on the top of WTC. Cocktails were pricey at $23, but again, as expected. I enjoyed the Uptown Martini more than my partner’s New World Fashion.
We sat by the bar as we came here after work and didn’t think to make a reservation for a table by the windows. Nonetheless, we were able to capture the beautiful sunset views from the bar.
Service was average, and we had to remind the bartender for some water - this is NYC, you get a glass of New York's finest as soon as you are seated.
Outstanding experience over all!. It is definitely a place that should be on your list when you come to New York, you can see the view of the whole city from here, I would definitely recommend you get the priority tickets for the late evening/dinner view that saved a lot of time if you book it on line. We were able to walk right in and they scanned our tickets and went straight to security checkpoint that took at that time of day only took 2 minutes to get through. I must say buying your tickets ahead of time saves ALOT of time without waiting in the LONG line if you decide to buy tickets at the desk.
The elevator ride to, and from the top was amazing. The views from One Dine Restaurant are breathtakingly beautiful. The food was also delicious.
A great restaurant with great food and great views.
The staff were helpful and friendly, and I got seated right away. I asked for a window seat and that was the best view in the house. It was awesome overlooking the city while having a quick bite to eat. Since I wasn't that hungry, I just had an appetizer and it came out to a good price because of the $15 off coupon.
The service was fast and overall definitely a great restaurant with the best views.
The food is pretty good. I had great service and the view is spectacular. It’s a bit overpriced, but that’s definitely expected since it’s a tourist attraction. You really can’t beat the view though, so I’d definitely recommend eating here.
It was a great experience. Especially if you have the Go City Pass. They provide you a variety of cocktails for $10 🙂 - It's only one per pass though. But this is a great experience otherwise because once you walk in, you see beautiful views of the city. There isn't much seating, so that's part of the reason for less than 5 stars. But the bartender wasn't pushy with getting us out and let us enjoy the view and drinks. She checked in a perfect amount of times (When the drink was finished. Quickly, but not too quickly afterwards 🙂
Let's start off by saying how friendly the staff was! Staff was constantly checking on me as I ate alone normally, making sure everything was top tier. The Food was amazing with the view. However, there isn't really an atmosphere, just food and staff. Great experience overall though!
Holy smokes! Best view we have ever had anywhere. The view literally allows you to se with all! We weren’t rushed , (we had two little ones). The only thing in question was that even though you buy tickets online for dining, you still have to buy tickets to the observatory which allows you to go up into the restaurant. (Kinda get you) but well worth it now that it’s said and done🗽
My husband and I celebrated our 18th anniversary on July 30, 2023 at this restaurant. The food was delicious. Our server Haque was amazing and made our celebration extra special. The sunset was beautiful.
There are no words that can adequately describe to you the view from your table at One World Observatory Restaurant. The food was hot and good, didn’t care for a salad with my burger but for the price it was hard to order something extra. The service was subpar for the price point, but you are paying for the experience. The manager came and ask how the food was and it was good. Felt like the server could have refilled drinks or checked on us just at least one time. You must have an Observatory Ticket to enter the restaurant.
We celebrated our 6 year anniversary and One Dine did not disappoint. We highly recommend coming here for any special occasion.
We did the all inclusive dining experience with window seating.
HIGHLIGHTS:
- Views were perfect at sunset and a great transition to night lights
- Food was absolutely delicious from start to end and they give generous portions. You will most likely take food home!
- Staff were truly sweet and so accommodating. Special shout out to Frank who took care of us the whole night and to Josephine who gave us an amazing and special experience in the observatory
THINGS TO KNOW:
- Dress attire - most people are casual so the “upscale” feel isn’t there initially but as time passes you kinda forget that.
- Noise level - if you want a more intimate dinner experience, I recommend you schedule your time for later in the evening to limit the noise from the observatory guests.
- Window seat table - it’s nice but I wouldn’t say it’s all that great because you are still kinda far from the glass and since the observatory ticket lets you get closer I don’t think the window seat is all that special. It would be better if the seating was right up against the actual glass.
- Decor lacks a luxury or slightly elevated feel. It’s not all that impressive when you arrive. I honestly thought it was part of the cafe. I recommend you sit towards the back of the dining area.
It was an amazing night at One Dine Restaurant, we came around the sunset time, it was absolutely beautiful. Food was excellent and we loved Korean Cauliflower. All staff were very friendly and we could feel the good energy. Niki was phenomenal, very attentive and funny. We will definitely come back soon.
Very tasty & high quality food. Octopus was very well prepared. Service was very professional and helpful.
This place has amazing views that you can enjoy during dinner. However due to the fact of being part of the observatory it does not give fully the experience of being @ restaurant.
If you want to enjoy the exceptional views then this place is worth considering.
I ate an octopus for the first time and I really like it. All the staff kept asking me 'everything is fine'. the environment is very romantic with a magnific view.
Haque was our waiter, excellent guy. Fantastic food, stunning views. Could not recomend more.
if you have an hour and are near the 9/11 memorial, this is possibly the best lunch you can get.
My wife and I had a fantastic time at the One Dine Experience. Perhaps because it was Feb 15th, we had no lines. We chose the 5:00 pm slot to get both daylight and nighttime exposure.
We were amazed at how fast we zoomed up to the "top of the world." The elevator had video images on its walls which provided a great feeling for the fast ride to the top. Arriving there is a 3 min. video with a great ending which I would not describe as to not steal the show. Once in the observatory, the view is just indescribable. It is more impressive during daylight, even though more romantic at night. The dinner experience is the icing on the cake. Niki, our server, was superb. We did the small bite experience (Appetizer, 2 cocktails, and dessert) and felt that the portions were big enough to fill us and of great quality. The food and the dessert tasted delicious, which, when combined with the ambiance and view, provided a fantastic evening. I highly recommend this experience.
