My husband and I have been going to coppola's for years.. the staff have always been nice and accommodating. For example: I wanted a dish that was not on the menu, nothing crazy but definitely something that the chef would have to set some time to prep. Without any hesitation the waiter assured me that this wouldn't be a problem. The chef made the dish and it was delicious. The bartenders are great and very friendly. If anyone wants a authentic Italian meal with great cozy atmosphere, this is the place..

We were a group of 8 and enjoyed a great meal. The staff was excellent. We practically closed the place and our waiter was very entertaining and we were all singing that the last group of divers joined in and was singing with us. We had a great time

I had a wonderful meal and experience last night at Coppolas. I'm Italian, and can be hard to please when it comes to truly authentic and good Italian food, and this restaurant did not disappoint. The portions are generous and the service is top notch. I will definitely be back.

Best delivery order yet on our trip to NYC! We were in the mood for Italian but had no idea where to order from... luckily, we picked the right restaurant! Coppola's East on 3rd ... highly recommend these two dishes...portions were generous. Bread also included but no butter; you can dip in the sauces from each dish. Homemade cheese tortellini had melt in your mouth fresh cheesy pasta bites coated in a creamy vodka sauce with bits of chicken, mushrooms and peas. The sauce really brought this dish together... not too heavy either. Chicken Parmigiana was nicely breaded and topped with melted cheese in a delicious well seasoned tomato sauce. The spaghetti surprisingly had chunks of roasted garlic cloves, which were like little treasures of gold in each bite. Grubhub delivery has been quick and great customer service. Next time, I'm definitely visiting this restaurant in person to dine in on a future trip back to the city. Total cost approx $70 with tip

We’ve been coming to this restaurant for many years now. Even through the pandemic myself and my wife ate outside in there sidewalk shed even though for some strange reason they had no heat for the dinners we endured it to enjoy our dinner and support this local family owned restaurant. Drinks. Well they try but it’s the little things we look for which includes using the correct glassware for the drink served, and topped off properly. Proper bartender training is required. Their food is outstanding, all fresh. Homemade pasta is delicious and there sauces are amazing. Fresh bread and amazing pizza is incredible. The service,,well they try but again we’ve been coming here for years and it’s like every time we come here it’s like they don’t know us. For the quality of food they serve this place should be busting out of there seams with customers but for some strange reason 🤔 it’s not. We love this place and hope they improve.

1st time there and won’t be my last. Visited a friend who lives near by and he made a reservation for 5 of us . Everything was top notch. Excellent food. Excellent service. Probably one of the best espresso martinis I’ve ever had considering pretty much that’s the only cocktail I ever get. There I was a miscommunication with the waiter with me taking my leftovers home and they discarded them. My waiter had them make me a new pasta to go. True customer service. Meatball app was delicious and my fusilli sausage pasta dish was perfect!

The food was authentic, delicious Italian food. From the bread to the wine, the fried zucchini squash blossoms, and the pasta, we were wowed. I will admit, the Tiramisu was not the best I have had, but was still delicious and a great cap to a lovely dinner. I only gave the atmosphere 4 stars because we sat outside and you are in Midtown manhatten. We saw 1 rat on the sidewalk and had 2 flies for a minute. Additionally, the traffic drives right past the outdoor seating area. But that's NY, so if you expect isolated peace and perfection, then good luck finding any place in NYC. Would absolutely return!

Huge portions, good food, and nice ambiance inside. The staff accommodated our huge group and even stayed open 45 minutes after closing so we could finish!

Everything from the food to the service was superb! As I walked in for the first time, the smell alone had me excited to eat there. The bread with spiced oil was delicious. We had the meatballs and a Caesar salad to start, both very tasty. I had the lump crab crusted branzini and my friend had the chicken parm. Both were cooked to perfection, we ate the entire thing. For dessert we had the tiramisu and creme brûlée. Even though I was stuffed, I couldn’t stop eating both. Our waitress, Erica, was one of the best waitresses I’ve ever had. She was so attentive, gave great recommendations and was just lovely to interact with. All of the staff was so friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be back and recommend this place.

Coppola’s was fantastic. The food was on par for the price (if very slightly overpriced), and the atmosphere was relaxed. The manager Adrian went above and beyond to get to know us and help us make our selections.

Really really good tasting food, I gotta say. Right spot if you want a transparent experience and not to be bothered much. The eggplant parm was delicious although it lacked a little bit in texture and might’ve been a little overcooked for my taste but overall it was a great dish. The artichoke salad was everything I’d want in a salad, but that’s just personal taste.

Came here on a Tuesday night after work. LOVED the ambiance. Had to try the Penna alla Vodka since everyone raves about it... Our server was outstanding. He did not rush us or anything. They give you complimentary warm bread and bruschetta. (It seems like no restaurants do this anymore....) We ordered baked clams and garlic bread. Very very good..... What I loved most is that you can get both the Penna Alla Vodka and Chicken Parmigiana as an entree. It was excellent! Service, Ambiance and Food! 🌟5 stars! Would most definitely come back. 😊

This place is really good! They give you free bread (which was warm) and oil, which was delicious. Food is very fresh and the service is great! I also appreciated that the servers don’t rush you and let you enjoy your food.

If you are in New York City and are looking for one an Italian Restaurant that has a Grade A, then I highly recommend this one. Yesterday, was my first time dinning in at Coppola’s Restaurant and my experience was the best. The lighting, organization, music, and setting of the restaurant was excellent. The waiter and waitress were highly professional, provided excellent customer service, and attentive. The meal that I ordered was very delightful, tasteful, and satisfying. If you are looking for one of the best Italian Restaurant’s in NYC, then I highly recommend this one.

We had the best waitress working at Coppola's Thursday September 21,2023 who is from Ukraine but lives in the USA for over Twenty five years now. She was really friendly and helpful! The food was great tasting and hot. This was our first time in NY and now we have a forever restaurant to go to when we come back. James Cagney came to this restaurant when he was alive back in the 80s. I see why he liked it so much!😊

We were swinging in here for a short dinner as we just wanted some pasta. The food was absolutely delicious and homemade bread served super warm and toasty, but what truly set apart our experience was our server Erika! She was SO friendly & relatable and helped us get so taken care of - we were running late for a movie and she quickly got us takeout boxes and our checks. We felt so at home and completely didn’t expect this level of hospitality in NYC. The rest of the staff team on Fri night were so kind and nice as well. Will DEFINITELY be back!!!

Loved the service and everyone working there. Very clean and nice ambiance. My pasta bolognaise was excellent as was the salad we had. Would give 5 stars if the meat balls my wife had were better (they were blasé) the bread was fresher.

Had an awesome dinner at Cappolas. The bread was fresh and chewy! Started with the baked clams and pizza. Clams were soo good and the pizza was also great. Chicken parm was tasty and a hefty portion. The other meat dish we had was OK (prob wouldn’t get it again). We finished the meal off with some chocolate lava cake and coffee. Excited to go back!

We first visited on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 using a Travelzoo voucher. This is how we find restaurants outside of our neighborhood. The value was excellent, the portions are huge and the food is very good. We were greeted promptly and sat in a very nice booth in the back. First up was a meatball appetizer, 2 huge meatballs were very good, then our main course Veal Parmigiana @$23 (huge portion very good-I took some of it home), fish of the day with crabmeat (excellent) and for dessert the Tiramisu @$8 which was delightful. A bottle of the Villa Campobello Chianti which was perfect for our meal. Atmosphere is very chill and the waitstaff are familiar with the food We will be back.
