I asked a very pretty lady at the bar for something off menu and she went and asked the chef for me and they made me an AMAZING chicken and bacon club sandwich on toast and it was the BOMB... The BEST food in town and all for under £10 with a drink. Thanks again:) #happyCamper
Fantastic breakfast in a wonderful part of NYC. I had French toast coated in cornflakes with fresh fruit & maple syrup. I also had one of their specially prepared juices of pear & ginger which was lovely. All the staff were welcoming and friendly & I would definitely recommend a visit.
Get the ravioli... no matter what kind is there at the time you visit. House made. Always fresh. As a bonus, the staff is superb.

A paragon of downtown dining: sophistication without an ounce of pretension. Attentive, incredibly cordial staff and a phenomenal menu in a quintessentially West Village setting. Can't recommend enough!
The food is up to the (very high) standard of the area but the service, especially at the bar, far surpassed expectations. The bartenders and staff are genuinely interested in you having s good time. Our bartender even took the time to custom make cocktails for us based on our individual tastes. When you think of a night in a cool Village bar, add in some "southern" hospitality and you have this place.

We have been regulars for about 3 years now and Hudson Clearwater is our favorite brunch spot, hands down. It has all the qualities one looks for in a dining experience. Great service, great food & drinks, in a great atmosphere. We have loved the experience from day one! Our consistent satisfaction with everything has made it our favorite.
If you’re looking for a regular brunch spot—you will not be disappointed! We experience all the perks from being regulars. The servers always stop by for a quick hello even if they’re not the ones waiting your table… we even had the owner stop by our table to say thank you for our repeated business (he may have noticed our many visits from the reservation system). It’s so nice to be remembered and what a way to feel welcome!! One of the servers knows that I always order the crusted french toast for “dessert” and she also knows how I like it— piping hot and with an extra maple syrup—so even when she is not the server for our table… she hand-delivers my french toast ensuring thst it is piping hot and with all the accoutrements. Above and beyond!! This makes my day!
Our personal faves: artichoke hearts, fries, hudson scramble, herbed french omelette, cornflake crusted french toast, cinnamon bun, or key lime pie.
The all natural interior with the sunlight peeking in through the big bright windows— and the outside garden area available for dining—give it a nice warm country feel. It has character and charm. We hope this gem is around for our brunch dates for many more years to come!
Brunch in the garden was perfect particularly with the Prosecco. Duck salad and cheesecake were done so well, I’d go back just for those 2 dishes.
We were looking for a place to eat nearby and let me just say that we are so glad we chose this place. Not only did all of the staff attend to us in a timely manner but they even sat us indoors right before it started pouring. The staff, atmosphere, and of course food is definitely 5/5. We can’t wait to come back again!

Went out with my family to celebrate a major milestone. Our night out was made even more special as the host accommodated our request to sit by our old table where we typically like to be. Food amazing. Must try the cheesecake!!!

Really great service! The food was delicious and we didn’t have to wait long for our food. I recommend making a reservation in the weekend bc it can get crowded! But all the staff was so nice. Totally recommend
Great service, good food, hip and modern atmosphere. I came here alone and enjoyed every part of my experience. The cocktails were very tasty and light. The artichoke hearts were by far my favorite! The duck hash I tried based off of other reviews and I was not disappointed. I think the menu has a nice selection. I would definitely come again
The service was decent for the most part. Most of the drinks on the menu was not available so I settled for the "cucumber soda" which was not very tasty. Food was also okay, nothing really to boast about. Ambiance was nice and they do ofter outdoor seating in the back.
Hudson Clearwater used to be one of my favorite restaurants in the city and for some reason , I didn’t go there for more than two years, so I was quite excited to go back.
Went with a friend who visited from overseas and we both had a great experience. She ordered the duck and loved it. I got the hanger steak that was very tasty (although not the filling so get another side dish if you’re hungry).
I also love their east coast oyster.
Great food. Great drinks. Definitely worth a night out. They have nice seats indoors and outdoors.
Paul is awesome took incredible care of us the food is delish every time and honestly the entire service crew is a dream and the way you’d like to be treated every time as a client is what they deliver in style and grace. Happy every time I go! Y’all rock.
Nice food & service, beautiful venue and fun atmosphere
Food was very good, duck was a little dry but the portion was generous. Scallops were cooked to perfection and the antipasti was delicious. Appreciate all the plants in the backyard but they may be attracting all the bugs flying around.
