Amazing experience! Food was exceptional and service was even better! We were celebrating a birthday and the staff was so fun interacting with us. Food tasted just like I was in Italy! I wouldn’t hesitate to come back.

This restaurant is a culinary delight! The food is not only delicious but comes in satisfyingly large portions. Add to that the good service, and you've got a winning combination. A definite 5-star experience for those who appreciate tasty dishes, generous servings, and attentive service.
We nipped in here as we were close by. The food was very good and we just stuck to a main meal as we weren't overly hungry, but needed some good food in preparation for the upcoming marathon.
Prices were fair and service prompt. We had a child with us and it was child friendly.
Well I usually do not rate a "5" on all the categories however this restaurant deserves it. Was a great fine dinning experience. From appetizers to dessert. Filet Mignon was tender and could cut it with a fork ( like butter) The calamari appetizer was the most delicious I have ever had ( so tender ) My wife had the Chicken Parmesan and was perfectly done and presented. The Tiremesu was tasty and creamy. They also have an extensive wine 🍷 list with great selections. Make your reservation and GO!
Wonderful restaurant, delicious food and thoughtful staff. We both got the fixed lunch menu which was affordable and more than enough food. We were surprised with a complimentary dessert for our anniversary which was an unexpected and delicious treat. My only note is that is was quite loud at lunch time. The dining room was huge but we were all seated together in a small section. I'm sure this could be avoided by asking to be seated elsewhere but it had been a long day and I didn't think of it until after being seated. Overall a great spot to get lunch that I highly recommend.
We booked a table at Chazz Palmenteri as it was close to our hotel and Grand Central Station, so the location was very convenient. The restaurant wasn’t crowded and was very intimate. The antipasto was served promptly and very fresh. The bread has a great crumb and a perfect crunch. The small wedges of Parmesan were clearly broken in the traditional way, rather than sliced, which was a great detail that is often missed. The bitter olives paired well with the rich bread and cheese.
We ordered an appetizer of calamari which was some of the most tender that I have ever had. The breading was the perfect consistency and the tomato sauce was light enough to complement the squid without overpowering it.
My fiancé ordered the four cheese tagliatelle. The pasta itself was very clearly made in house and had the lovely characteristic elasticity of egg noodles. The sauce was rich and cheesy without being too thick or sticky.
I ordered the minestrone and found that the vegetables were cooked perfectly. The vegetables were seasoned well and cooked to the point of being tender without losing all of their textures.
For my main course, I ordered the gnocchi with ragout. I was skeptical ordering this as there were so many phenomenal options on the menu that I was worried that I may be missing out by ordering something so simple. I was wrong. This gnocchi is the second time that food has ever made me cry. It was so perfectly light that it almost melted in my mouth. The sauce was rich but let the flavor of the dumplings shine through. The meat was evenly cut and fork tender, but stayed hearty. This gnocchi made me cry. I haven’t had such incredible gnocchi since my Nonna passed away. The first bite took me back to being four years old, sitting on her kitchen floor, tasting it fresh off the stove.
This entire meal was a fantastic experience and the perfect way to end our brief stay in New York.
I’ll give this restaurant the highest compliment that I can possibly give a restaurant, and one that I have only given once before.
I would have payed more, much more, for this.
Honestly amazing. The food was 11/10. couldn’t recommend it enough. We got the filet mignon and chicken parm. The staff was also very attentive and kind.
We had a large table and they accommodated us so nicely. The attentiveness and graciousness of the staff was top notch and their food and wine suggestions were on point . We opted for family style and enjoyed the fried calamari, baked clams, roasted asparagus, and buffalo mozz caprese to start . Our entrees were a Caesar Salad, Seafood Risotto , Mushroom Ravioli, Lobster Ravioli, Gnocchi Ragout, A Bronx Tail, and Veal Marsala. Highly recommend them all. Cappuccinos, Espressos, one choc lava cake and one tiramisu to end a wonderfully relaxing evening with family and no dishes to wash :) We visit the location in White Plains often and love it there too. Enjoy
Visited this location for a work trip and I was very impressed. The staff and team was great.
It is connected to a hotel. As you walk in your greeted and then on the right will be there extensive bar. I enjoyed a gin and tonic and thought it was fairly priced.
As for the food I was recommended to try the special. The special that they had for me was a delicious pasta dish. I would show them the picture and say I want that. The sauce mixed the meats was a delicious combo. Inside the restaurant the ambience is very private. Perfect for a date or a work food event.
Finally, for the review I would give this place a 7.7 out of 10 on that 🔥 scale. It had a good selection of great items. As for the cocktails they had a nice heavy pour. I felt the availability for seating and space were an issue.

My wife and I had an excellent meal here, and rather "on-the-fly". We called for a reservation, but it was a prime dinner hour (we had attended Colbert's taping). We figured we'd take a chance and just "show up". Lucky we did.
The VERY gracious hostess took us to what I later learned was the boss' table and we enjoyed a wonderful meal
Our entrees came out fairly quick and the food was nice and hot. Our server was attentive and checked in on our table frequently. Next time I’m in the area I would definitely eat here again.
I first dined at Chazz Palminteri when we moved to New York in early 2020 and we quickly became regular visitors.
Without going too far into sentimental appreciation, I can say that if you are local you will soon find that you are graciously welcomed and embraced as family.
If you are a tourist visiting the city, you can be sure to find a selection of flavorful dishes prepared with quality ingredients.
I have tried almost every dish on their menu and have yet to experience anything that was less than enjoyable...if not exceptional.
I have only two regrets:
That I haven't given a review sooner...and that we had to move to another city and can now only visit when we are in town.
It is definitely worth adding this restaurant to your list of places to visit in NYC!!!
Outstanding from start to finish. The food and service were impeccable. Can't wait to be back!
On our visit to NYC, we made reservations at Chazz Palminteri restaurant. The service was outstanding and very attentive. Food was amazing! We had Chicken parmigiana and panned seared halibut.
Atmosphere was cozy and relaxing. It was a great dining experience and well worth the wait and price. It is a top 5 restaurant to break bread!
Five + Stars I love the restaurant!
I love the staff! It’s become my go to!
Nikola - Gjina, our hostess Lori-and the entire staff are incredibly accommodating to your every need. Join me there.- My favorites-
Calamari-Truffle Mushroom Ravioli-
Their Steak, Pittsburgh Style.- Simply the best! You never know when you’ll see Chazz Palminteri 👍🏻😎
What a fantastic restaurant!! I didn't get to see Chazz, but the food was out of this world. The octopus was tender, the eggplant parmesan was fabulous, the seafood risotto was delicious and the veal special of the evening was mouth watering. The service is just wonderful. Maybe I'll get to see Chazz next time lol
