Lasagna to die for. Popped in for a quick lunch today. Massive portions, only ate half but it was absolutely delicious.
My family and I visited this restaurant by chance. President Obama was in NYC when we visited and the restaurant that we had planned to visit was located in a section of Times Square that was blocked off. We thought, okay, let's just go to Planet Hollywood. Well they had a huge line so we walked across the street to Bond 45. It was not what we expected. From the outside our first thought was that it would be just another restaurant but once we sat down we knew otherwise. We quickly discovered how great it really was. From our server to the management to the food, everything was fantastic! If you are in the area you must try it. We will definitely visit again on our next trip to NYC.
Fantastic cocktails and cheesecake, great staff escpeicially the Bartender
Fantastic place for the best Italia--served in a way to be shared amongst friends. A hidden NYC gem.
Awesome food!! Lobster risotto!! Best in the world!!!
I have only been here twice but both visits were very memorable! Awesome food and cocktails!!!
Went there twice on my trip, very delicious food, great service! By far my favorite place I ate and will be going back next time I go to the big apple. Such a great place.
First time in New York the restaurant was right across the street from my hotel the food was great the service was great they greeted me with a glass of champagne and seated me very quickly I felt like I got 5 star treatment.
Old world restaurant very comfortable environment. Good old fashioned Steak and Pasta.
Unique dining experience in Times Square and you never know who may drop in. If you go to NYC make time to go.
Great food, excellent service! An unexpected pleasure in the midst of Times Square!
Excellent meal... Great servers...right in Times Square
Best family style Italian ever!
A fabulous place for dinner.
Delicious! Great atmosphere too!
This is a great place to come to when doing a play and/or if you want decent Italian food with no surprises, that will hit the spot. Bond 45 is located in the Edison hotel, very close to Times Square.
For drinks, had the Bond Spritz and the Bond Cup (?). Forgot name of the second drink. Both drinks were on the sweet side. Our waiter was attentive, and quick without being annoying.
For food we had the lasagna, two meatballs and a mozzarella stick. All meals were good and yummy. Only thing I found odd was that we weren't served bread prior to our meals. Other than that, meals and service were great. Seems like they always take in walk-in customers, as it's a pretty large place
Loved this place. Went in for lunch on a weekday so it wasn't overly crowded.
Peter took good care of me.
I had the short rib meatballs and the pepperoni pizza with hot honey. Both were delicious; the pizza was special!
This required eatery in the restored Edison Hotel is a Broadway staple and landmark. The Fireman Hospitality Group has some of the best eateries in Midtown, and Shelly has exquisite tastes. Or is it his wife? Don't know. Regardless, you will not leave disappointed. The staff are the best in midtown. This is an ideal place for theatre dining.
Delicious food and prompt service even for large parties. The burrata salad was scrumptious. The dessert cake slices were generous too, unfortunately taste was too sweet and I was too full by dessert to really finish! Good impressions overall.
This is a great pre- and post-theater spot just off Broadway, directly across from the Richard Rodgers theater. There really aren’t many places open after a show (that aren’t chains or fast-food), and they stay open until 11pm. We had the pepperoni pizza and their famous chocolate mousse. The pizza was big enough for two people to share easily, and filled us both up. It’s a cracker-thin crust that lets the toppings really shine. The mousse was delicious, but nothing radically different than you could get other places. Great service, and no wait at 10pm on a weekday.
Had a wonderful time grabbing dinner here before seeing New York New York on broadway. The food was awesome, and the desserts were amazing! The NY cheesecake is so big, yet so so delicious. The cannolis were great!
Edit: our server was wonderful as well! Such a nice gentleman.
We had a wonderful anniversary dinner here before our Broadway show. We had the Porterhouse for two and it was one of the best steaks we ever had. Luis, our server, was phenomenal.
So what brought us here? Their "Bar Open All Day" sign did! We were a bit early for the Tina Turner musical next door at the Lunt-Fontanne Theater, my spouse spotted the sign and said "That's where we're going", LOL!
ATMOSPHERE:
It totally reminded me of the restaurant inside of Harrod's department store in London with its similar design cues and furnishings. We sat at the bustling bar that turned seats quickly. A portion of the bar featured a buffet of what looked like really good charcuterie.
BEVERAGE:
Bond Cup - $18.00
Got vodka? I'll take it! I thought I was back home in Hawaii with all of the floral decorations that adorned the drink, which was a purple orchid and slivered slice of dried pineapple that was reminiscent of a sunset or sunrise. I'm not a fan of pineapple but enjoyed the blend of tropical fruits.
Peach Froze - $18.00
My spouse's and niece-in-law's selection. The spoonful I had of this red, icy daiquiri-like prosecco drink was really delish, and made me wish I had ordered this instead. Highly recommended.
SERVICE:
The bartenders were so personable and professional! What a great start prior to our Broadway show next door. Thanks, guys!
OVERALL:
I try to stay as far away from Times Square as possible but the convenience and great service of Bond 45 was a great choice! Pricey drinks but you gotta have fun and be carefree when on vacation.
Wonderful Italian restaurant in the Theater District. Menu was extensive and it had something for each of our family members.
We loved the thin crust Margarita Pizza and the Fettuccine with the Shrimp. Also the cheesecake was probably the best we ever had. better than Juniors!
We stopped in here for a cocktail before our dinner reservations at another restaurant. If we hadn't had reservations already we would have eaten here. The warm antipasto offerings looked amazing. it's so popular there's even a dedicated staff who does nothing but fulfill those orders. If we are ever back in town we will try this place. our only beef with our drinks is that they made mine with Jim Beam but charged the same as if we're made for a higher end whiskey. That's just not right.
Best Italian food for the Theater District!
Friendly staff, delicious pasta and amazing Chocolate Mousse! We went to Sweeney Todd and I’m glad we stopped for dinner before the show. So convenient!
Went for brunch prior to a Broadway matinee. Large portions. My strawberry pancakes only had three large strawberries sitting on top. They were delicious. I felt they could have at least cut the strawberries up. Fun drinks.
Fabulous waiters, and food! Recommend the vegetable appetizer plate, the lasagna and any ravioli dish.
Great, Italian spot. Located right off Times Square. Wonderful Margherita Pizza and the carbonara. No wait. Instantly seated at a cool booth. No kids menu. Food came promptly and fresh.
Salami (not sure on spelling) was a fantastic bartender that made our night better! Calamari was absolutely delicious! Good wine selection & vibe!
