A gem of Italian excellence in Soho to be proud of. Not only tasteful food and wine but interaction with the chefs, sophisticated design and details: an authentic sensory experience. Vibrant mood and energy absolutely to try! Great job guys!

What an amazing restaurant! My sister and I spent 13 nights in New York in January, and we walked past Sola Pasta Bar and decided to give it a try as we absolutely love pasta! Needless to say we HAD to go back! Ate there 3 times and each time just got better!! Good luck and thank you!!

This restaurant is a hidden gem and the owner/staff are friendly and welcoming. The pasta tasting is a great way to sample all of their dishes and discover your favorites. I can’t get enough of the ravioli and truffle pasta and will keep going back for more. Anyone who loves a good runny egg and truffle must must order the giant ravioli 😋

I had an amazing experience at A Pasta Bar in NYC! I first heard about this place last year but couldn't secure a reservation. So when I had the opportunity to return to NYC this year, I didn't hesitate to give it a try. It's known for its pasta specialties, so pasta was the main attraction. Before diving into pasta, I ordered a scallops dish, and it was impeccably prepared. For my main course, I went with the beef ragu pasta, and it was truly fantastic. The pasta had that perfect al dente texture, and the sauce was bursting with flavor. The open kitchen concept was a delightful bonus; we got to savor our food while watching the chefs at work. 🍝😄

The service was exceptional. They checked on us frequently. Watching the chefs make our food was totally different than what we are use to. You can see the attention and care of the chefs.

We had a decent experience at A Pasta Bar! The cocktails, "Unknown Caller" and "Sunday Afternoon," were exceptional. The burrata with pistachio and tomato jam was extraordinary, but the caccio e pepe was a bit disappointing. The papardelle ai funghi, unfortunately, was excessively salty. Overall, it was a mixed experience, but I would still recommend it for the cocktails and appetizers.

I visited A Pasta Bar with my spouse, our second time dining there. The first visit on Valentine's Day was memorable, featuring a prix fixe menu with exquisite wine pairings. It was such a memorable dining experience and I couldn't forget the creamy Tagliatella Al Tartufo Nero. This time, we went for an early evening dinner to try their pasta sampler, which includes five distinct pastas that vary based on the chef's selection. Our lineup included the Tagliatella Al Tartufo Nero, Tonnarelli cacio e pepe, Raviolo Ripieno, Spagetti Alle Vongole, and Rigatoni Rosa. As expected, Tagliatella Al Tartufo Nero, a personal favorite, held its position at the top of my list. Its rich flavors never fail to impress. However, it was the Ravioli that truly stole the show. I did not expect it to be so good! The depth of flavors in each bite had me craving more, and I'm already planning to order the full-size version next time. My rankings for the five pastas, in order of preference, stand as follows: 1. Tagliatella Al Tartufo Nero 2. Raviolo Ripieno 3.Tonnarelli cacio e pepe, 4.Rigatoni Rosa, 5.Spagetti Alle Vongole. To be clear, all of them were delightful, and the competition was tough, but the top three truly stood out! The restaurant's ambiance was inviting and aesthetically pleasing. We sat indoors, but there was lot more outdoor seating than I remember from our first visit. There seemed to be a collaboration between A Pasta Bar and the brand Boss, with branding elements like A. X Boss on napkins and decor. Our bill even included a coupon for shopping at Boss. We decided to try the Tulum Ave and the At the Disko from the cocktail menu. The drinks showcased creativity and attention to detail, with visually appealing and tasty options that complemented the pasta dishes. The entire electronic menu had an attractive visual design, and the photos are so helpful with making selections. I'm looking forward to returning to A Pasta Bar time and time again. Would definitely recommend! 1000/10!

As usual, the best experiences are had when you have no expectations!! Ordered the truffle pasta (white sauce) and the lobster pasta (red sauce). After some thought, I still cannot say which one was better.. ☺️☺️ Highly recommend for a date or fancy night out!

Amazing food and drinks. Definitely a hidden gem. We came in just to grab a quick drink but ended up getting pasta and Burrata. The unknown caller cocktail was very good. Ellie provided awesome service and recommendations!

The burrata with tomato paste & pistachios, cacio e pepe, and virgin mojitos were my favorite. Over every dish was delicious and such a great experience seeing the open kitchen concept in the center of the restaurant.

Dropped in here after a day of shopping and was not disappointed. Hostess got us some drinks while we waited for a bar seat. Fresh pasta made to order in front of you. Great atmosphere & good. Highly recommended

I just wanted to say how much my party and I enjoyed our dining experience at your establishment. Your service was absolutely excellent - your staff were attentive, friendly, and made us feel so welcomed. We decided to try the 5 course pasta tasting and we were blown away by the delicious flavors and expert preparation of each dish. While the clam dish wasn't our personal favorite, we still appreciated the opportunity to try something new. On the other hand, the truffle pasta was an absolute standout and we still can't stop talking about how amazing it was. We also wanted to commend you on your attention to detail - your staff did an outstanding job of refreshing our dishes and silverware after each course, making us feel like royalty! All in all, we had a wonderful time and we're already making plans to come back soon. Thank you for an unforgettable dining experience and we look forward to seeing you again soon.

My husband and I went here for the first time to kick off his 30th birthday weekend and the food was amazing. I usually have a small stomach but I was ready to eat, the drinks were great and the pasta was so amazingly delicious that I ate all of it without having to take any to go. The cool part about the expense is that you get to watch the chefs make your food.

We were a large group so we tried pretty much the whole menu. I would go again for the appetizers not so much for the entrees. - homemade burrata : incredible. Super creamy and cold and the pesto oil pairs perfectly. - crocchette : confused about this one. It was super crispy, I thought it was tuna when I ate it but the menu says chicken. - prosciutto and iberico plates : GET THIS probably the yummiest from the night we got a few tastings for the pasta - Rigatoni Rosa : skip. Nothing to write home about - truffle tagliatelle: delicious. A must get. - cacio e pepe : the sause was incredibly smooth - vongole : skip. It tasted only of salt. I did not go back for a second bite - ravioli : truffle flavor is good but the dish is heavy. Makes sense why there is a single one. - caramelle : top dish of the night. GET THIS. Finally a standout pasta dish. - lobster pasta : nothing special. For dessert we tried the following - tiramisu : skip - chocolate tart : yes lovely, there was a mousse on top which was creamy and hit the spot. - vanilla ice cream: skip Overall service was impeccable. I was disappointed with the pasta dishes and expected more innovation. I wish there were more options like Caramelle on the menu. The appetizers were great and I would recommend going here for apps and drinks.
