Newest Starbucks reserve in the city, the bar / restaurant upstairs has some excellent coffee inspired cocktails for people who enjoy that faire
Downstairs is an experience lounge where they provide food and coffee - and the main floor has all the gifts and trinkets. Overall expect this to get very busy on the weekends - when I stopped by Friday the bar was not too busy and we were able to find a spot - will be back!
Thanks to Josie our mixologist we had an amazing experience trying the martini flights… we came for one drink and enjoyed three and a ton of small plates .. everything was delicious and staff was amazing a def visit.. for tourist and locals..
This is by far the best Starbucks experience I've ever had. As soon as you walk in you are greeted by a barista who helps you with the merch and your food/drink item. They have so much cool merch that you can't walk away without buying something. They also offer classes downstairs which is perfect for any coffee fan. Also make sure you try the empire state building blend in your drink and they also offer it as a sample at the princi restaurant so make sure you try that as well. Overall everyone was so friendly and amazing. I could've spent all day there.
I went there during the Thanksgiving holidays and I think they renewed the place. Now it is a Starbucks Reserve.
Great experience. The place is beautiful and they have a nice place upstairs with seats and tables. You can work there too.
Troi is one of the best Starbucks baristas I've met!! Informative and funny; she made our Espresso Martini workshop an amazing experience! 👏
The restaurant at the second floor is a must go to. Although pricy, the food is DELICIOUS. Such a beautiful reserve roastery. Do note that you can only place orders through scanning a barcode specific to that location.
The coffee and service are like any other Starbucks and are pretty good. Good seating area on the lower floor. It's a little noisy, but if you don't mind that then it's quite a good place to work at. The only problem was with the restroom (there was only one in operation when I went visited) it had a long line and it was really messy.
Nice Starbucks with expanded lounge and plenty of seating. Not as fast of service as you would like. But a great place to warm up right inside the Empire State Building! Friendly staff and free WiFi with clean facility!
I can't give an overtly negative review as my experience was likely similar to what could be expected in the center of Manhattan. My stay there was very inconvenient however as there was such a large crowd in the upper level that you couldn't get to the counter to pick up your drink. This Starbucks is one of the largest that I've been to so I thought it was interesting that I still had a hard time wading through the crowd.
The employees were obviously stressed but I witnessed some very disrespectful customers at the same time.
My wait time was 17 minutes for two basic coffees.

I travel frequently up and down from Quebec to Florida, and also out west from NYC all the way to Kansas, and have not seen a Starbucks that delivers consistent quality and services like this one at the Empire State building on NYC. I go there at least 4 times a week, and the crew greets me with a smile every time, rain or shine. The quality of their drinks simply cannot be any more consistent, and cannot be surpassed. Out of all the baristas, I have to say that Raven always stands out as the one who consistently performs with a smile under continuous pressure from both the business crowd and the tourists, and still deliver the same consistent quality in the drinks as far as flavor, textures, and temperatures are concerned, not to mention he rolls out his drink at twice the speed of his peers! Watching Raven working his magic in the morning is almost like watching the Frank Sinatra performing during his heydays, as they are both top performers and perfectionists. Kudos! Keep up the great work there!
Currently second of only two Starbucks Express stores in the company and by far the best location yet. Their limited menu has all the favorites and the service and staff is fast and top notch. This location is super clean! No seating - designed for the commuter.
Very crowded, but staff is very fast here. Quality never really changes (which is a good thing)
Regular customers who order the same drinks definitely has their perks in this store. I no longer need to place my custom order and the cashiers knows it. And my drink has not been messed up yet *knock on wood*

Went to get my first Starbucks of my visit and had an iced caramel macchiato and it tasted so good. Staff were really helpful and friendly here. Going to have more Starbucks on my visit here
