Our last pizza adventure was at Brunetti Pizza in the West Village (great score of 8.2 on the app). Brunetti is a cool little Neapolitan-style pizza restaurant, with a front and back patio (we sat in the front along the sidewalk), that cooks 20 pizza varieties in their custom-built brick oven. Wendy seemed intrigued by the Meatball Pizza ($19), topped with chef & owner’s wife’s famous “Mary’s Meatballs”, ricotta, basil, house-made mozzarella, and San Marzano Tomato sauce. Admittedly it sounded delicious so we ordered it, even though normally I wouldn’t get a Meatball pizza, and I am glad we did.
Unique pizza style....Great ambience to experience with a friend. Quality food.
It is for those who intend to experience actual Italian pizza..
round every corner in Manhattan you can find a slice of pizza, and most of the times, it’s pretty darn good. But what’s a New Yorker to do when the 99 cent stuff just won’t cut it? The answer lies at Pizzetteria Brunetti. The father son-owned pizza place, located in the West Village, set up shop in the city after high demand from their Westhampton Beach location forced them to expand. The intimate pizza spot isn’t typical of a pizza joint…it’s charm is apparent from the get-go, with its community bar, rustic wood banquettes and outdoor garden. And with twenty different varieties of pizza to choose from, things get anything but boring here.

I don’t know why Pizzetteria Brunetti is under the radar of many pizza lovers. With a variety of pizzas sure to please everyone, this place is well on the way to being a West Village hot spot. Delicious food with attentive and friendly service that treat you like family have me giving Pizzetteria Brunetti two thumbs up!
Got a margerita, was a 12 inch pie, 6 pieces. Very light and simple taste. Also got the chick pea fries, a very different taste, they melted as soon as we ate it. Decent place overall.
Such great food the Spieze Pizza was so good and the wings were super tasty and not greasy at all.
The venue had a good atmosphere even though it was a little quiet when we visited.
A friendly service from the moment we sat down by Sheila and Michaela.
We will definitely visit again on our next trip over from the UK.
A must go to for Pizza...
We had a mid week trip to NYC and made a stop here for lunch. What a great choice. The pizzas were amazing. The crust was out of this world. Pepperoni, fabulous 👌.
I had a great lunch at Brunetti Pizza yesterday. A great unassuming neighborhood watering hole with great beer selection wood burning oven pizza and a great vibe.
The beer was cold. The pizza was hot, the wing’s delicious, the Arancini rice balls wonderful and so was the dessert.
A great little unassuming gem 💎
Really loved the brick oven pizza here. All the ingredients were fresh. The marinara on the pizza was so good. It's a lovely little restaurant with seating indoors and a patio out front. Nice wine options. Not too overwhelming. Sometimes simple is perfect. There's something for everyone here.
Brunetti Pizza is a hidden gem! Loved their Italian-style pizza, baked in one of the rare brick ovens in New York. Delicious taste, cosy ambiance, and outstanding service - everything you'd want for an authentic pizza experience. A well-deserved 5 stars!
Lovely atmosphere and people.
The food was amazing. Pizza with Clams with over salted, but we expect that from such a piazza. Next time I'll ask in advanced.
That crispy airy light pizza is tasty! Definitely get a pizza - they're not big . Just 4 slices . We came at Happy Hour on a Tuesday and it's not crowded. Nice staff . We got the HH white wine - I think it was Greco Bianco and was really bright and fruity and was like $10 . Definitely try that one ( I didn't really care for the red HH wine after I tried a sip but the white I got two glasses!) My friend had the HH $5 beer and also had two of them. I think it was Italian and he liked it. We got Calamari which wasn't a big portion but also came with fried lemon slices which was a nice touch and I liked those. We got a Margarita pizza which is really thin crust and crispy with a nice sauce as well. I'd like to try some different flavors of pizza next time I come here but with that wood burning pizza oven in back you should definitely order pizza. We got pasta main courses . Both were nice. I had the Gemelli Vodka sauce and although I didn't really taste vodka in the sauce it was a nice portion and tasted good. My friend got Bucatini Alfredo which was really nice and although the chicken he ordered with it came out late he liked it . This is also a charming neighborhood on Hudson Street in the West Village, a couple blocks walk from the 8th and 14th Street subway stop . Recommended.
Great pizza... If you're in the mood for a great pizza and atmosphere, Brunetti is the place to go!! This is my favorite pizzeria in NYC. The drive from Times Square will run you about $12-$15 but is definitely worth it. Amazing service and kid friendly atmosphere. Craft beer offerings that pair excellent with their pizzas. Great desserts also!
Pizza was OK. Came mainly because we could reserve a table for 6 easily - the vibe was good and lively on a Sat evening.
