Tasted just about the whole menu during our 4 day stay in NYC. The atmosphere and the food were excellent. Staff is very attentive and friendly. I wanted to eat every meal there!

I have a have been there three times and I always sit at the bar. I love watching the bartenders mix drinks. The price is a bit steep but I always get the fish and chips and two beers. The wait staff are great and all around a nice place

The food was great, the drinks were great; and everyone knew our names. And it was our waitress's birthday. Can't wait to go back.

The atmosphere at White Oak Tavern is amazing! Beautifully lit and comfortable. The food was excellent and the service was just as warm as the lighting. Their drink menu is unique and delicious! Of all the places I visited in the city, White Oak Tavern was my personal favorite!

Being from Kentucky, White Oak Tavern is like a second home. The charred white oak barrel used to hold bourbon during fermentation may be the origin for the tavern's name, but the food Is why I keep going back. It's one of New York's best kept secrets!

Came Upon the White Oak Tavern yesterday afternoon. There were people there but it wasn't crowded, we could actually converse and hear our conversation. The tavern looked taverny, was decorated for Halloween the restrooms are individual no one shares them with you. I had a waffle with fried chicken and kimchi which was out-of-this-world delicious and savory my girlfriend had some kind of Ale bread with avocado and eggs which was apparently fabulous because she ate everything, and my son had a BLT. I shared my Waffle, Kimchi and fried chicken the drinks were adequate and my son treated me, that made it even better. We three all agreed unanimously that we could eat there again in a heartbeat

We came here because we live nearby and were too lazy to go far given we were up from 4am for the Macy's Parade. Therefore, no real expectations. But White Oak is fantastic! Surprised people don't talk about it more. The food is great and not that expensive relative for these sorts of things in Manhattan. The Mac n Cheese was 🔥 and the Thanksgiving Turkey special was spectacular. French onion soup was solid but probably the least exciting dish. Service was good, cocktails sharp and the drinks selection broad. Decor within the venue was beautiful as well. Will have to turn this into my local go to!

The Bacon Mac and Cheese was very good. I had a Threes Brewing ale of some sort, which was tart and heady, yet also a solid beer. I've always liked the earthy vibe at White Oak, and that has not changed. Nice enough bartender; not enough pretty ladies to flirt with but maybe I'll have better luck next time around.

We stumbled upon this location as we strolled through the streets of Manhattan. We decided to stop by for a quick lunch and happy hour drinks before heading out to our scheduled engagement. Very spacious corner pub with your typical English vibes and decor.

Great place for lunch if you're not on a budget. The fish & chips were delicious and the burger was amazing as well. The service was friendly without being overbearing. Our tab was $50 without tip for just two people and only water to drink. The food was worth it, though! Plus, we loved the atmosphere.

This is my favorite pub in NY. Great food (love the mushroom bolognese), great cocktails and a huge selection of whiskies. Service is great - fast and friendly. The real difference is the atmosphere because it pulls in a mix of locals from the area, tourists and students. If you’re in the area and fancy a quick drink, food or even a big night out, this is the place. (Amazing Christmas decorations this time of year too!)

It was a date night out with my husband last night, and I fell in love with this place. The prices are fairly affordable, the atmosphere, the music, the decor, oh yes! It has been a favorite spot for about 20 years back when it was Caliente Cab. But this establishment was perfect. You have to come by and enjoy some great dinning here. You won't regret it!!Coming back soon White Oak!❤️

This place is absolutely charming. So cozy. The drinks are delicious, and the atmosphere can't be beat. We lived across the street but during COVID so we didn't get to visit then, but very glad we made it eventually as it's the perfect neighborhood bar.

We were here late night. Super friendly staff. Cheeseburger was perfectly good and had a great flavor from the grill. Guinness was pored properly. Fish and chips were solid, batter was great tho the cod was a little fishy for my style. We’ll be back.

The vibes here are so good. I went around the holidays and not only were the decorations gorgeous, they also had a special peppermint drink that was delicious. It’s usually a little busy since it’s right by NYU, but I’ve always been able to find a seat at the bar. Definitely a place to check out.

Didnt have any food but it's a popular spot for it from what I hear. What's the female word for bro? Folks arent unfriendly, but not a spot I'd frequent; just not my vibe, but nice place to sit for cocktails outside. The service tho', one waiter, sweet, charming, funny and super cute family (my queer peoples) who knows how to chat and cater to customers, he was the best part of my experience there. Give him a raise before you lose him. I'd come back just to banter with him for sure.
