I must say, I really enjoyed the food at this restaurant. It has great presentation and great flavor. The only reason I can't give them 5 stars was the apparent indifference of the waitress to our questions. If we didn't know something, she reacted in a rather poor manner. Still, good food.

If you know the East Village, it can get busy. Drove down there and parked in a lot near by. I did make reservations which I recommend but I don't think is mandatory. We were greeted by who I assumed was a manager and/owner. He was very nice and showed us to the table. It is a bit tight so if that bothers you then this is not the place for you. The decor was beautiful as well as the vibe. They do have two bathrooms but one was out of order just as I wanted to go in. They have a private room and patio for extra dining which is nice. Our waitress told us the specials and was super nice and attentive. Nearby staff was also very nice and paid attention to guests to see if assistance was needed. They do a great job of keeping tables in order and ready to go. They have a wood burning oven, which means they are cooking something good. I ordered the red sangria and it was so good. For $9, I was very impressed. You can also get a pitcher for $40 if you have a group which is still a great price. We had the Tagine Chicken, and it was amazing! Also had the baklava which was on the small side and I wanted more. Very tastful and not too over powering. Great prices too! The noise level was kinda loud due to a party next to us, however, if they weren't there, the noise level would be moderate. It's a nice gathering place with great energy. I will be back for sure! I tagged the resturant on my FB page and management thanked me. That was cool!! They do pay attention.

I really enjoy the food. Chicken & Lamp Tagine are so good. The meat was so soft and juicy! They had live performance that day ( Friday), so it’s pretty nice and the waitress is friendly

A must try. Small, cozy and great atmosphere. The waiters and waitresses were very friendly along with the manager(I believe) food was very good and you won't be disappointed. A good selection and flavorable. I do recommend anyone to try this restaurant and I would recommend making a reservation due to the influx of customers.

Came for dinner on a Saturday night. Vibe was nice. The staff seemed a bit unorganized or maybe some were new. We shared a bottle of an Italian cava, which was crisp and refreshing. We shared the goat cheese and arugula flatbread, grilled halloumi, and vegetarian couscous. Everything was tasty! The halloumi serving size was pretty small, only three pieces but we loved trying it wrapped in grape leaves. The flatbread was standard, not a lot of cheese but the crust was chewy and perfect! Couscous was straightforward, definitely recommend pouring all of the broth on top, it needs the moisture and flavor. Overall, the meal was delicious and felt light but filling. The live jazz on Saturday was a very nice add!

Had a tremendous time here. It was a private event with the belly dancers and the food was great. The lamb and the chicken are some of the choices that were available. Also, the sangria was decent along with the other libations on the menu. If you wish to have a taste of Morocco then Nomad will be a decent place to visit.

We really enjoyed our dinner at Nomad . It was our first time trying Algerian/ Moroccan food. My daughter's boyfriend who's Algerian brought us to try it out.. I was a little nervous to try something new, but excited. Nomad's cozy and dim lit athmosphere made us feel comfortable right away.. The food was brought out promptly and it was freshly made . The wait staff was very attentive and knowledgeable of each dish. I tried their branzino. It was so fresh and on a bed of carrot stew and other veggies. The chicken tangine was fall off the bone delicious and the steak was perfectly cooked. We also tried they garbanzo bean soup which had a hint of cinnamon, similar to my squash soup. We washed it all down with a bright crisp Moroccan wine! Everything was hug to our tummies and we will definitely be back!

Had dinner at Nomad last night (Monday). The place is amazing. We went because my partner and I are planning a trip to Morocco so we figured we might as well see what the food may be like. I had the Royal Couscous (pictured). The dish was HUGE and delicious. The restaurant is a small place, but what they lack in size they make up for in personality. The music, the wall decor, hell, even the bathrooms were cool. Service was wonderful. Great vibes all around. Mehenni even gave us his contact info so we can get a head start on our trip!! Hospitality at its finest!
