A stand-out option among a lot of similar spots near Times Square and Rockefeller Center. Absolutely delicious Turkish and Mediterranean food. Vast manu, lots of choices. Tasty hummus, and insane eggplant dishes. The lamb was cooked perfectly. Great deserts too! The cocktail menu is delicious - try a couple of them. Small dining room that feels spacious, however reservations are strongly recommended. An excellent choice that is close to the big sights but just off enough to give everyone a nice break.
I adore the atmosphere, the interior design, and the waitstaff, who were truly outstanding. Our order included an eggplant appetizer, two main courses – salmon and a shrimp and chicken kebab – and a delectable dessert. It's impossible for me to choose a favorite; every dish was exceptional. I wholeheartedly endorse this restaurant for its outstanding food and overall experience.
Came here with my mother for a pre-theater dinner. We arrived earlier than our 5pm reservation time, but they seated us immediately. The interior is beautifully decorated and not too noisy (a persistent NYC problem). We had about 2 hours until the show and let them know we could eat at a more leisurely pace, which they were happy to do. We got the small sampler appetizer which was five different cold dips, served with pita. They were all excellent. My Mom got the meat dumplings while I had the rack of lamb. Both were delicious. The lamb was especially tender and well seasoned. We finished with dessert and coffee, and they ended up giving us the coffees for free, which was a very nice touch of hospitality. I would absolutely recommend this as a wonderful place to eat and I will be coming here again.
The service was absolutely amazing. It was my first time having turkish food, and it didn't disappoint. I have to admit the wine I had was perfectly dry as I like it.
I will be back.
Three of us had dinner, none had been here before. The restaurant was comfortable, clean, with dim lighting, and ample space at our table. The staff was attentive, friendly and efficient, we never needed to ask for anything twice, (except for a couple of minutes more to choose from the large menu!). The food was delicious, and more than fairly priced for the size of the large portions! I tried new things, (as did my son who had never been to a Mediterranean restaurant). We were pleased with the whole experience, and would highly recommend a visit to anyone! Well done by all, thank you!
This place is so good and so authentic, get the calf livers, lamb Adana and filet mignon kebab. The dessert was incredible too!
Food is on point. Restaurant is clean and well decorated. Greek salad took me back to Europe. Strongly recommend it
Visited this Turkish restaurant and was pleased with the experience. The staff was welcoming and offered friendly service. The menu is decently priced, which is always a bonus. I opted for the chicken shish kabab, and it was a delightful choice! The portion was generous, ensuring I left satisfied, and the flavor was on point. If you're a fan of Turkish cuisine or even if you're trying it for the first time, I'd recommend giving this place a try. I'm looking forward to my next visit!
A very lovely Turkish restaurant. Staff are friendly. A young lady kindly introduced the different kinds of desserts to me. The dishes are delicious. Highly recommend!
Lovely Turkish eatery in the city. I would definitely recommend their shish kebab and mixed kebabs. The hummus was just awesome. Havent had that good hummus for a while in the city. I also liked their char grilled Branzino fish. I highly recommend hummus and shish kebabs. I will visit again to explore more.
A cozy restaurant with really great Turkish food. The appetizer platter was a good size. We got the small which came with 5 dips and refillable bread. The mixed platter was a good way to try a bunch of stuff and the fried calamari/Greek salad were great starters.
Finally I found a real Mediterranean restaurant. Meat is really meat, not sweet, meat like meat. It tastes like venison. Iskender Kebab is very delicious, the yoghurt is like homemade. I will come here often. You can only find such delicious meat if you hunt in the forest yourself. I didn't need to go hunting because I found the Akdeniz Turkish Cuisine :)

Food was delicious! My wife said she had the best fileminion ever, it was juicy and flavorful. Friendly staff and affordable menu price. The last 3 days this place was our 3rd Turkish restaurant and this place is the best and cheapest. Can't beat that. A must try place while visiting New York!
Lovely Turkish restaurant close to Times Square. Narrow building but plenty of tables in the back. Fast and friendly service. We shared the small cold appetizer dish, with a nice selection of pita bread and spreads. Our main dishes with lamb or chicken were great. The lamb shish was medium rare and served with rice, lettuce, red cabbage, a grilled tomato and a very spicy pepper.

Amazing food!!! Well served and the taste was incredible. The kibbeh was so so good. The server answered all our questions and was really friendly.
A neat Mediterranean cuisine centric restaurant with a cute decor. Perfect for a lunch in midtown. The hummus, babaganush and zucchini pankcakes were super delicious. Very warm and fast service. A lot of seating plus a nice bar area.
Came in as a group of 8 no reservation and were seated quickly. Amazing staff, amazing food, and fast service. What was most notable however was the outstanding pita. Baked to perfection. Would honestly just go back for the pita. 11/10.
Found this place on the Pitch Social app and planned a dinner with friends here. Totally delicious food. Mixed grill and a big fish. The babbaganoosh made me so happy
