A delightful little place populated by locals and a few tourists who don't mind the walk, with delicious no frills fare and an amazing breakfast sandwich that would be perfect to sit and enjoy with a coffee or a grab and go that gets your sight seeing day started. Fair prices and quick service punctuate this classic and wonderfully decorated breakfast eatery.

Nice place with good old school diner vibes. Service speed was 4/5 and the Eggs Benedict was served on hard muffin that didn’t seem to be fresh, unfortunately, so much that we had to replace it with bread. The Greek yogurt was smaller than in most places. Cappuccino was great and foamy.
Galaxy Diner was a great breakfast choice with better than average prices. Service was exceptional! We walked in to quick seating and the servers checked in regularly. I appreciate that they took time to explain a few things on the menu. Easy walk from Belevedere Hotel as well! The atmosphere was casual and comfortable. Really felt welcomed here!
Everything you want a diner to be... good food, fast service and reasonably priced. We will be back!

We went on Christmas Day 🎄. My husband and I ordered the mushrooms and feta as an appetizer and we both got the Turkey Dinner. I ordered chicken and lemon rice soup as my entree and he got the vinaigrette salad. We had so much food I had to take a to go box. We also ordered chocolate cake and apple pie to go. I will definitely be back 😊. I highly recommend this diner. The staff is super attentive and so nice. I forgot to take pictures of food but I did take a few of the restaurant indoor decor.
Great service and delicious food! I had a craving for breakfast eggs but had to order delivery so I wasn't expecting that to travel well. The food I received was fresh and still hot! Delivered fast, a good sized portion, and the bacon is real bacon (which in other places can be a 50/50 chance). I also ordered the mushrooms and goat cheese which was also delicious. I love this local diner and will absolutely order from them again, thanks Galaxy!

Friendly dining experience. Great service and some of the best tasting food you’re going to find around. A hidden gem in the city. The food is fantastic. If you are at all health conscious, try one of the many juices from the juice bar made to order on the spot. I had a small Apple-Lemon-Ginger and realized on the first sip I should have asked for the large.

The service was friendly and the food was good. The atmosphere is relaxing and enjoyable. I had the roasted Portobello salad and it was a great light meal on a hot day. My husband, son and daughter said their pasta dishes were enjoyable. There was plenty of seating when we arrived on a Wednesday around 5:00pm but they were getting busy by the time we left assertive 6.
Nice diner, delicious food. Only minus of a star is the fact that they served my friends order to the wrong table and left her watching the rest of the table eat for 15 minutes. Other than that, the wraps are great. Nice place for a cheap meal before a show.
Listen…. This place has some charm! The owner and the wait staff are excellent and extremely pleasant, and maybe it was just really good because it came at the end of a long day, but as someone who currently lives in the south… They’re fried chicken with country gravy and mashed potatoes was amazing. In fact, everything we had was amazing. I even got an old-fashioned egg cream that was to die for… if you like that sort of thing, that is. And I did! Definitely worth it… Go when you get a chance. another A+ for them being multi-lingual and being able to talk to my group in several languages! They’re there to accommodate and were one of my favorite places to eat during our visit to NYC.
This place was so good. I had a great ice latte and The Sourdough sandwich was AMAZING! The staff was friendly and the food was quick to get to the table. Hands down the best diner I’ve been to so far!

At first glance it doesn’t look like much… we sat down and not only was the service impeccable but the food was beautiful. By far some of the best food we’ve had since being in New York and the best priced! 100% recommend
The portions at this place is out of this world (pun intended). I had to ask for a container to bring the rest of my dinner home.
If you're coming from the theater district, Time Square, or just stuck in this quadrant of the Milky Way this is a nice place to fill you stomach.
