We had a good brunch at Berimbau.
Waffles were chewy and sugary than usual ones.
The sampler drinks were really good! Especially mango and spicy drink were the best.
I got the stew dish by accident, but it was amazing! The portions were huge too.
I see why they say this is one of the best Brazilian restaurants in NYC. I would say it's a lot better than all you can eat style of Brazilian restaurants.
I would highly recommend their empenadas, skirt steak and the Brazilian cocktails.
Very welcoming atmosphere with very friendly and helpful staff.
Service was prompt timely they even helped with a reservation adjustment I had.

What an amazing spot that we wished we came to sooner. Everything was delicious but I’d definitely recommend the cheesy bread. The drinks were spot on and the service was great. The space is a little tight so make sure you make reservations. Will definitely be coming back soon!
One of the best Brazilian restaurants that we have tried. Loved every dish that we ordered from the cheese bread to the stews to desserts! Warm and friendly service made the experience all the more special! Portions are on the smaller side but gives you an excuse to try more items.
We had a fantastic lunch here today. All of the food and cocktails were fantastic and had great flavors. Food was authentic and very properly prepared. Service was fantastic and friendly.
I swear by this restaurant’s cocktails and dinner. Such amazing cocktails all with unique twists on Brazilian drinks. I loved their take on espresso martinis. The service is phenomenal - our waiter had the best recommendations for drinks and such a fun and friendly vibe. I love coming here to catch up with a friend over drinks and apps because the patio in the back is so cozy. The dinner was amazing and big portions so I definitely left satisfied!
Very cool spot!! The steak entree was the best at the table and we loved the empanadas and pao de quejo! The cocktails were fabulous. Funny seating a la west village as it winds to a back patio and has tables in little nooks and crannies including the streets. Clean bathroom. Loved the chocolate truffles! What a suprise!
Small but authentic menu. The food was delicious. We tried Feijoada and Beef Stroganoff. Everything was on point. The service was very friendly and welcoming. The decor is very warm and rustic with a bright and modern mix of Brazilian touches. Great spot for trying Brazilian food.
Came here for dinner with a group and had an amazing time. From the outside the place look small but their is a decent size patio Outback. It feels as if you escape any to Brazil. Especially if you get the delicious coconut drinks. The food is amazing, drinks are pretty and delicious and service is very friendly

Went here for a team dinner and really enjoyed their appetizers. The spinach+cheese empanadas are the best I've ever eaten and my team seemed to really like the chicken croquettes. Took a star off cuz the vegan stroganoff was average at best.
Great spot, even greater food. Berimbau has very interesting/new takes on authentic Brazilian dishes. This time around, we got bobó de camarão and the stroganoff. The camarão is a shrimp soup with thick and creamy yellow sauce that has a citrus-ey taste. It was really good, but the stroganoff was the clear hit of the night and comes in a creamy and savory red sauce. I'm sure the other dishes are great and will definitely be back to try them.
Tip: we came here on a Friday night and were lucky enough to get a table for two in the back we without a reservation, but this is a popular place that tends to get crowded, so make one in advance if you can.

Absolutely delighted with my experience at this restaurant! The service was exceptional, with attentive staff, I believe Brandon was the name of our server. The food was delicious, each dish bursting with flavor. A five-star gem that will surprise you positively. Will definitely be returning.
I had a great experience with the delicious food, kind server, and beautiful atmosphere. It was nice to have Brazilian food again. The server was nice and chatted with me about Brazil, checked on how so was doing, made suggestions, and was accommodating when I had to adjust my reservation due to my friend having a family emergency. I had a classic caipirinha, cashew caipirinha, moqueca baiana, and brigadeiro, all great! I just wish they had a bathroom, didn’t see one there it’s a small place. I would recommend it to anybody!

I’m being a bit generous with the 4-star rating because of the excellent customer service we had. Our waiter was very nice, ( and everyone else too), but we didn’t like that much our main dishes. I had high hopes for the Brazilian cut sirloin steak, but it came in a very hard texture that was hard to cut even with the steak knife. Milanese chicken was okay, but it’s salad was very salty. Anyways, Appetizers were excellent and the cocktails as well. Empanadas were so delicious! Might come back ONLY for the drinks and the appetizers.
Very nice ambiance. Seamless service. Most of the food is non spicy. The tuna had some spice to it which I appreciated. The drinks are solid. The food is all very well done, multiple vegan options available. The food is well presented. The stroganoff options and the tuna were the stars. I would pass on the skirt steak. Price point appropriate for the neighborhood. The damage was 80 dollars a head with a cocktail included. Overall would recommend to try, but not CRAVING to come back.
Being from Brazil I’m a harsh critic of Brazilian food, since I can cook it and I know what is actually good. This place was AMAZING! Everything was SO good! Super well seasoned, portions were generous too. The service was awesome! They were warm, friendly and so kind. The atmosphere was very cozy, unique and inviting. We feel that because it’s a small space, they are able to really put out outstanding food each time because they are not overwhelmed by a huge amount of traffic at a time. We I’ll certainly come back when in the neighborhood next.
