Dim Sum Go Go has expanded into the East Village with roots from their original location in Manhattan Chinatown for over 20 years. This Michelin Bib dim sum parlor serves steaming hot made-to-order dumplings. Here in the East Village, it’s more of a casual and relaxing vibe much different than Chinatown. That same XO sauce is still made in-house along with a variety of handcrafted dim sums. For vegetarian folks, they have authentic vegetarian dim sums as well. Their delicious steamed roasted pork buns are perfectly sized and fluffiness. Springs rolls and turnip cake is not too oily and taste delicious.

Great, fresh dumplings. Funny, friendly service. Cool efficient cantina vibe. The mixed dumplings platter was great, loved the soup dumplings. Highlight was the ginger beef with an order of chinese broccoli, but everything was ace.

5 star delicious dim sum and food 4 stars for slow / missed service food Please hire at least 2 more staff members for your weekends A few tables including our table had missing orders, orders brought to our table that was not our order, or waiting for the attention of staff to order more items.......... 2 more staff members should fix this issue lol..... Also when the check comes.. its all written in chinese... so it's impossible to know if I was charged for something extra or something I did not receive. I ordered a dish that I realized after I left.. I never got. 1 star off for messy service

What a find (thanks Michelin)! Web site is very useful as it has a photo of every dish. When we were seated jasmine tea and iced water were waiting for us, which was a nice touch. First class Dim Sum, fresh and really tasty. We particularly enjoyed the seafood and meat and vegetable platters. Presentation and service were superb. Can’t recommend this restaurant enough👌🏼

Dim Sum Go Go has a long history of making authentic dim sum in lower Manhattan. I particularly appreciated their vegetarian friendly options - from Fried Stuffed Eggplant 酿茄子, Bamboo Heart Dumplings, to Three Start Dumplings, Snow Pea Leaf Dumplings, Mushroom Dumplings, and Abbot's Dumplings. The Fresh Mango Pudding 芒果凍布甸 at the end was perfect to wrap up the night.

We loved how easy it is to order thanks to the paper menus where you check the items you want in your next round. We found it convenient and also easy because honeslty, sometimes I want to be a bit adventurous, but I am not familiar with every item in a dimsum place... being able to take my time, read descriptions, look up pictures and then choose what I wanted to try for the next round was more fun than the traditional style of ordering everything verbally with a waiter at once. The dumplings came out fast, steamy and super delicious, my favorite were the rice wraps, the sauce was to die for,the texture so funky, I ordered seconds! Also got seconds of the sesame balls, omg... warm and sticky... i wanna go back for more!

The steamed dumplings (dim sum) were simply incredible - we had the Jade, chicken and duck. The jade stood out as our favorite paired with the scallion ginger sauce. We also tried the Potsticker with honey glazed pork ham and the Pork bun which was a sweet bun with pork inside. Natural, fresh ingredients that popped. The sauces were not artificial and added to the freshness of each bite. Will definitely return!

We went here as part of our food tour. It was very good and the staff was accommodating to those who had special dietary requirements. Everything we tried was not only tasty, but looked great!

YES. Ok so I came here because the line at Nom Wah Tea Parlor was waaayyy too long and I didn’t want to wait in 95 degree weather. The dim sum here is so good! I ordered so much: -roast duck dumplings: great flavor and a good cut of lean meat. It came with some vegetables mixed in so it had a nice crunch to it. -roast duck rice rolls: it had a lot more fat in it than I like, but it was still good and they but the sauce on it table side which was cool. -chicken buns: you can skip it it’s nothing really special, but a solid bun none the less. -three star dumplings: these are the pink ones that are super cute, the taste itself isn’t my favorite and I have no idea what’s in it but it’s some kind of root vegetable. -Shrimp dumplings: classic shrimp dumplings, solid but nothing incredible. Overall this place is a great dim sum option, the prices are pretty average and the service is…. Well let’s just say it’s very authentic. But it’s Chinatown so if you don’t want authentic go to the upper east side or something.

Yall this place's atmosphere is bizzare, kinda like a dimsum place meant for those who have never had dimsum before. The food is fine / on par with nearby dimsum restaurants but I really can't recommend for my Asian peeps, this place only had white customers. Shrimp rice rolls were fine. Turnip cake did not taste fresh.
