There was a line out the door to the sidewalk when we arrived. The smell of fresh baked cookies lured us into the shop and waiting in line was worth it. The chocolate peanut butter cookie just melted in my mouth. What a special, delicious little treat.
The people in line were friendly, each talking about which flavor they were good to order. With almost 20 different options, everyone seemed to have a different favorite. Although a classic chocolate chip cookie seemed to be the consensus. I could feel the cookie anticipation!!! Delicious, you seriously have to try it for yourself 😊

Insomnia cookies are a spot and hit the spot! Great staff and fresh cookies. They were attentive to us and got us the right combo they needed despite being busy with deliveries. They acknowledged us right away and we’re fresh and tasty. Definitely should stop in if you need a late night dessert. 🍪 😎
My Carmel salted cookies was a bit hard. Not like the first time. the others were good though
Insomnia cookies smells like heaven. The chocolate chunk cookie is my favorite and it goes well with the chocolate ice cream. One thing I do not like about this location is the fact that they almost never have the bite size chocolate chunk cookies. Why offer that on the menu if you never have it!?

I had been hearing the good things about this place for a long time from Instagram and my friends. I happen to be near Amsterdam area and I saw this restaurant and wanted to give it a shot. I purchased a box of 6 cookies and honestly they were so delicious . These cookies were the best cookies I ever had. Now about the restaurant even though it was small but clean and well maintained. The cashier was so frequently that the menu for cookies screen was malfunctioned but she was reading the entire cookies menu to each customer with so much passion and love. I would highly recommend this store if you around the area.

So who gets ice cream sandwiches at 1:15am ? This guy and his wife !!! I would give this establishment 10 stars if I could ! From the still warm fresh out of the oven cookies to the amazing counter person ! Carl you sir are an awesome addition to the Insomnia Cookies organization! It was such a pleasure being served by you, my wife and I will pay many visits to you ! Now back to the cookies and ice cream ! All I can say is WOW !!! If you’re ever on 79th and Amsterdam Ave Insomnia Cookies is a must visit ! If you live locally they deliver until 3am !!! This place is for sure Cookie Monster approved !!!

I'm on a mission to find the best cookies in NYC and I certainly got a lot closer with Insomnia cookies. They are definitely the type of cookie I'm looking for: soft and chewy, full of flavor and an amazing variety. I'm a big fan of the late hours (for us sweet toothed ppl especially late at night when we convinced ourselves we wouldn't buy a bunch of sweets). Only down side is they have a very particular delivery range which defeats the purpose to me. I am slightly beyond delivery range and luckily was able to use Uber eats at this location but had that not been an option, I would not have gotten them bc I'm not walking around at 11pm to go get cookies. With the added fees of Uber eats, it was a bit disappointing especially because they pride themselves on being a late night spot that will brings cookies right to your door. So Insomnia cookies, please work on your delivery options. Living in Hell's kitchen, I feel like it should have definitely been an option for me. If you are in delivery range, I do recommend trying them. You also can have them "shipped" to you, but also defeats the purpose when you have a sudden craving that needs to be addressed asap.
Teddy is the man! His customer service is top-notch, and made my group and I feel like rockstars. Teddy knew Insomnias cookies inside out and gave us the best recommendations. Not only that, but Teddy paid attention to every single detail of our order. His friendly and caring attitude made our visit extra special. I can't stress enough how awesome Teddy is and how good Insomnia Cookies are!
Legit taste better than regular milked ice cream. 10/10, they could take all my money. Plus customer service was top tier.

This... interesting looking 6-inch deluxe cookie cake arrived an hour late (usually $19, but ended up being $30 with delivery fee + tax + tip). Adding 2 stars because this was a hilarious ending to our festivities and it still tasted pretty good!

Delicious cookies best enjoyed when they are hot & fresh. My favorite is the White Chocolate Macadamia cookie.
Cookies here are a bit pricey but worth it if you have a major sweet tooth and need a craving fix. The box of 6 is the perfect serving to get a sample of all their best cookies.
Service is quick and friendly. Just don’t get stuck behind a newbie that doesn’t know the cookie flavors or names.
