Went to Ivy Bar and Grill on my first night in NY.
The ambiance was very nice, music was good and not too loud. We sat facing the shop's window and it was pleasant. The waitress was friendly and very helpful.
I tried: Truffle fries, Kale and Artichoke dip and a Maple Pear mojito, and I loved them.
The prices were very reasonable.
If you're looking for a nice place to hang out and catch up with your friends on a week night in Midtown, Ivy is a good idea!
Cosy place and a really friendly reception. Food tasty and good drinks. Music really nice to make your evening really pleasant. Definitely a must
I had a Mahi Mahi Taco.... It was deeeeelicious! They have a nice selection of craft beers as well. Enjoyed it :) the waiter and bartender was very friendly and understanding
A street sign that read $7 White Pomegranate Cosmopolitan for Happy Hour was enough to make me turn right into the door. My decision for a night at Ivy Bar & Grill was the right choice. As you step into the doors of this very chic restaurant, you can’t help but look around and notice the antique lighting, exposed brick walls, large wood tables, and lavender bar chairs. It’s simple yet stylish, with large opened windows exposing their decor to all of 8th Avenue. Ivy is not like the other local bars and restaurants on the block. Across the street there was a dance class in session and while I sat there enjoying the Tuesday night breeze with my Cosmo, I was sucked into a trance inside this restaurant where I felt very at home and comfortable.

The Ivy Bar & Grill in Hell’s Kitchen opened about a year ago and based on the steady flow of 20 and 30 somethings who streamed in off of 8th Avenue, it remains a popular place to meet friends for a drink or to grab a bite...
I come here once every week or 2 weeks with my friend for a drink and the best Truffle Fries and Fried Calamari. I would order Ivy Martini for myself and my friend likes the Sparkling Rose. Most staff are really nice...one female staff did bother a bit too much. She kept coming back with bad jokes and commenting on what we ordered. We left early that day, wished we had ask for a new wait staff that day!
Steven at the bar is awesome! Good selection of beer and wine at good prices, esp with happy hour from 2-7 pm. The flatbread was good and the big blue burger was amazing! Highly recommend.
Love! Love! Love!
Stumbled upon this quaint joint...and it's awesome.
Chicken quesadillas... calamari was to die for. Decor was laid back... service was great...very quick and personable. Must have... Pomegranate White Cosmo...yum!!!
We stopped by as it is a hot day just for a soda and ended up watching the tennis and had a light lunch of quesadillas- so good been told I need to make them when we get back home! Will be back again as I travel to NYC quite often for business- one for the list of places to eat in the evening
Inside was full so had to sit outside but it was too cute. Service was great and answered all our questions. Due to new NY rules we HAD to order food but the fries were super good and drinks were perfect.
The drink was delicious! Drinks are a little pricey. However you get what you pay for. They seem to be a lot stronger then previous bars I've gone to. Overall 5 stars!!! Friendly service. Calm atmosphere. 😁👍
Great food and drinks, the hamburger is outstanding! We would go again!
The first time I went to this restaurant I had a seafood dinner with a side of polenta sticks . The food was absolutely amazing and I decided I had to return to the restaurant once again. The second time I ate at this restaurant I decided to have the Lobster Macaroni and Cheese and Chicken and Waffle sliders . The Lobster Mac was a bit salty , but the sliders made up for the Mac and Cheeses shortcomings . I would return for the sliders and the smooth yet sweet drinks.
Nice place to have some good burgers and sandwiches
It’s a good place to chat with with friends and to have drinks. I got a cocktail called tropical storm, which is a rum and ginger beer mix and it tastes really good.
Great food. Great atmosphere. No complaints. Had Tuna Tartare and it was very good.
My sisters and I really enjoyed the food and drinks there. We had the chicken tacos, the mac and cheese bites, and the steak spring rolls. The place was dimly lit where most of the light was either coming from outside or the many television screens. The waitresses were very nice and attentive. I'm definitely going back there again.
Pretty good food, not really pricey, good location. They weren't even mad when my cousin accidentally lit his napkin on fire. If I had one recommendation it would be to stop putting candles on the tables.
4 of us went for a drink here after watching a great production of the Jersey Boys earlier. The staff were very friendly and welcoming without being in your face. The atmosphere was brilliant, relaxed with excellent service. Although we didn't eat we saw a few meals being served and the food looked great.
This is one of our favourite bars that we've found in New York and I can thoroughly recommend it
Love the vibe of this place. My bartender, Mike was attentive and knowledgeable. Had a great time here.
This is our go-to spot for an after-work drink or after-show dinner. The bartenders are incredibly personable and very quickly make you feel like a regular. The food is all good, and some of it is exceptionally so. The crowd generally has a good vibe without being oppressive. In short, it's the perfect spot.
Great bar with such friendly staff. Mike and Courtney are amazing and so is Kendal. Happy hours are good and the wings are amazing. Good portion size and there monster wings not your typical small ones. Definitely get the wings
Amazing experience! First time here looking for a chill place to hang out after work and Ivy completely exceeded expectations. Rob and Mike were the best bartenders ever and made sure we enjoyed the evening. The playlist was on point, the drinks were perfect, and the food was delicious - can’t wait to come back!
