This one is little hard to locate and also doesn’t understand if its open. We had a big meat lover pizza. One of the pizzas I’ve ever had on my trip. Would definitely recommend this outlet. Very tiny little outlet serving best pizzas.

Fantastic New York 'za! We ate at a couple of joints while here, and I have to say, this was the top choice. Choice of three bases, then, if you want, add some toppings, which these guys are generous with, bake in a coal fired oven, and blammo, out come thin, chewy, delectable pizza!

One of the best pizza i've ever tried. Thin dough, fresa sauce and cheese. Very good prices.
They don't accept credit cards, only cash. No beer

Amazing pizza! Got seated right away outside on the little patio and within 10 minutes of ordering our freshly cooked pizza was ready! It may not be in Brooklyn but it still lives up to the name. A large pizza with pepperoni, sun dried tomatoes, half mushrooms and half ricotta cheese

Love it!. Once we arrived we got a table straight away...good timing since it was packed. We ordered a medium with red peppers & onions. It was way to big for 2 people. They put way to much onions on the pizza but I just took some off, also it would have been better if they onions were cooked first. Service was good and also don't forget cash only!! p.s. if you need the washroom find one before you get there.... they are sooo disgusting!!

Worth the wait. It's not often you can be cultural and eat at the same time, so take this opportunity to do something amazing! Grimaldi's brick oven pizza is located underneath the Brooklyn bridge. Yes, that's right. Get your DELICIOUS pizza then sit under the bridge taking in the Manhattan skyline. This is an experience you will never forget!
WARNING: There is always a line, but it is SO worth it!

Grimaldi's Pizzeria opened at the Limelight Marketplace in Chelsea back in February, and I finally got a chance to taste their coal-fired brick oven pizza. The name should ring a bell, especially since Food Network named it one of the top pizzerias in the country. A large pie, $14, is supposedly enough for 3-4 people, but my buddy and I finished all 8 slices. The crust was perfectly cooked in their 1000 degree oven - a perfect combination of crisp and chewy. The sauce was delicious - sweet and rice. The handmade mozzarella cheese added a nice touch of saltiness. The few basil leaves topped and crisped made a heavenly combination. Since the goal was to finish the entire pie in one sitting, I didn't get any of the $2 toppings - mushrooms, onions, extra cheese, basil, etc. We'll save that for next time. Bonus: I was able to score a LivingSocial Instant Deal: $8 for $15 worth in food and drink. Regardless if the deal is available or not, I highly recommend paying a visit to Grimaldi's. Can

Very good monster calzone, but they were out of 2 of the 3 appetizers we wanted, and they also only served wine, no wells. Server was a nice kid. Very polite. I think they could do more with atmosphere and highlighting the history of the place, as I was just as interested in the food as that. I immediately had Rainbow bar and grill vibes when I walked in (L.A.), and I think if they invested in hanging memorabilia and catering to the Limelight's vast array of history and famous guests with photos, decor, and more seating I think it could be really, really cool.

I cannot say enough about Jeff and the crew he is managing. My wife and I come to the city every other year and we ALWAYS visit this place. It's never disappointed us and we'll never disappoint it. The future of this historical establishment is ultra bright. From the expertly prepared food to the cozy comfort of a welcoming NYC environment, we consider ourselves extremely fortunate to have experienced so many memories here.

Got a special Neapolitan small pie, which has good 8 pieces. It has a white base not a marinara one, it tasted good overall. Also got garlic bread, which was soft and nice. It is a big space, the entrance is a bit quiet and weird but it is pretty inside. The prices are reasonable, service is okay.

Is the pizza more expensive than I would expect? Absolutely. Is it worth eating and if in the area and wanting good, New York pizza? Hands down, yes. Got takeout so my experience with the service was limited but average/as expected. There are limited tables outside but otherwise, you need to climb a few steps to get into the restaurant and be seated. So, it’s not so ♿️ accessible.

The inside of the place is such a vibe, it’s really cozy and the inside is blue at night (haven’t been during the day). The server was really sweet and knowledgeable about the menu. The pizza was good but just not the best I’ve ever had in NY. The prices are pretty high but they offer a variety of options so you can truly customize to your liking just be mindful that it’s $2-$3 per topping. The alcohol selection is pretty small and the wine isn’t great but the overall experience is really sweet.

Found this restaurant by searching Google Maps after visiting an exhibit. The location is a little tucked but quaint. Loved the decor! The staff was so friendly and provided great service along with great food!

Such a great place to be. This place is much more then a pizzeria. It's fun and good food. They made delicious home made sauce and they put fresh toppings on the pizza. They do serve alcohol as well. Great place to go. Definitely we are coming back Highly recommend.

Overall score: READ BELOW Not perfect Not excellent ‐---‐------> SCORE SOMEWHERE HERE <----------- Better than good Much better than average Review begins here..... I have always walked by Grimaldi's and never got the chance to buy a pizza from them. The other night I figured "why not" 1 AM in the morning I walked over. I didn't know what was good so I asked the young man at the front what he recommended. He was very polite, and reminded me of what service at restaurants use to be. I got recommended the Limelight Pizza. I'll never forget that it contained "vodka sauce" The service was VERY GOOD. I suppose the only down side was I couldn't buy per slices at 1 AM in the morning (thats about it) Would I go back here: Absolutely YES Is it worth the money: "I think so" 15 USD for the lime light. I personally would order out from here and have it with friends or family at home. The pizza reminds me of a good old fashion pizza i had with my family when i was a kid.
