When arriving around 4pm the restaurant was empty but when heading out a few hours later there was no empty seat in the house. The servers did a great job and sang for me for my birthday! I had the chance to try octopus for my first time and it was delicious. I enjoyed the space between tables, since it wasn’t tight like a lot of NYC bars. There is a large selection of drinks and the serving sizes were perfect. Enough to get full and finish your plate without feeling like you overate. I also liked that the restaurant served clients of all ages. Families, friend groups and couples can dine at Terra and feel comfortable.
Absolutely delicious pizza!!! It was clutch! Shrimp artichoke and a special made one with the grilled veggies - both fanatstic.
I'm not always a beet guy, but i rolled the dice and was not disappointed.
One of us had the bolognese and the noodles and sauce were great.
Nice cool room temp on a fairly warm day.
We were a party of 6 and ordered many different dishes. We did like the Chichetti (aka tapas) approach and especially liked octopus salad, seafood fritto and Bruschetta al Funghi.
Buratta could have been served with a better (more ripe/tasty) tomato, but the prosciutto it was atop of was decent.
Pasta dishes, branzino and lamb shank were great, as well. We brought our own cake to celebrate a birthday and paid $35 fee for it - a bit steep, but buying individual desserts would have cost as much.
I had dinner by myself here a few days ago. I stumbled upon this place after running an errand in this neighborhood. Let me preface that I’m originally from Italy and my mom’s cooking sets a high standard. This restaurant is authentic and the food is delicious. I had the prosciutto with buratta followed by the gnocchi and the tiramisu for dessert. No complaints and would definitely return. Portion sizes and prices were fair. I ate outside and would recommend this for a date night spot or getting dinner with a small group of friends. Finally, the wait staff was amazing. I will definitely be returning here.
Overall the food was quite good here at Terra. It’s hard to beat the price right in the heart of Tribeca.
The atmosphere: was a small intimate dining room. The design was a mix of modern and contemporary; overall, it was nice.
The service: was a bit slow. While the staff was friendly, I don’t think they have a real bartender because I had toe explain what a French 75 was.
The food: was very good for the price. This is a great go-to for $18 pasta dishes!
Nice and cozy restaurant with a nice atmosphere. Perfect for a dinner with a friend or a date night. We had a chocolate soufflé and it was amazing.
Wanted a nice, simple and quiet Italian dinner and it is exactly what we got. The price/ quality ratio of this place is great. I had the mushroom pizza and it was so good! Would definitely come back! They had a great wine selection too
Yesterday, me and the homie came here fresh out of an immersive experience called "Destination Cosmos" that really just turned out to be a 45-minute NASA propaganda piece. Wouldn't recommend, but Terra was there to ease the pain of our shared trauma.
We sat outside and shared a bottle of Chianti (obviously) and the Rosemary Parmesan Fries. Nothing quite like a good fries and wine combo, it's just so dynamic. Jamal Murray and Jokic-esque.
They serve water in a former Bulleit Bourbon Whiskey bottle and I couldn’t have been more impressed with a seemingly innocuous detail. I don’t know. Good glassware gets me, it’s the little things.
When I lived in Tribeca, I frequented Terra often as it is a tasteful ambiance without being over the top. It really feels to me like an Italian Tapas place, and what more could you ask for in this life? It is also reasonably priced. The words "reasonably priced" and "Tribeca" rarely go hand in hand, so thank you Terra.
The food was wonderful but the view from their outside seating on a sunny day is hard to beat. If you’d appreciate good outdoor dining in Manhattan, void of the tourists, this is the place for you. I had their beet and goat cheese salad (named much more fancily on the menu) and paired it with an order of their meatballs. So delicious! The bread was complementary. Prices were reasonable and their wine list was composed of a good selection. I opted for a Prosecco which paired nicely with my meal. Overall, would recommend.
Ordered their Bianca Pizza and it was delicious! Love the atmosphere!
