Ordered the Green Curry Lunch Special to go on Seamless and was very happy about it. There are four other Thai restaurants near this. I always get green curry. Of all the places I’ve been to, this one is creamy and not extremely spicy. The side spring roll and salad were delicious as well. The quantity of the container felt small but I was very satisfied.
Best Thai place I've eaten so far. Everything was good, we enjoyed each other's meal. Staff was very nice to us. Under 5 minutes from the Hyatt Hotel and Time's Square!
A very standard mom and pop shop Thai spot. Nothing that will blow your minds, but also won’t disappoint too greatly. It’s especially good if you have a large party, they seated our group of about 20 folks for a Sunday lunch. Also relatively more affordable, so it’s a nice to-go spot.
Great place with excellent service! They could improve their air conditioning, it was warm inside. The food was decent but the the little extra in taste was missing. Still I would recommend it.
I had the pho soup and dumplings.
Very good food served hot. Service is quick and food is flavorful. We ordered, Tom yum soup full of flavor and tangy
House soup was very nice garlicky clear soup with cilantro bursts as you have the greens
Steamed dumplings— they are big.. many Thai places sell sumai which are small but this one is full of shrimp and chicken
Cashew vegetable and red curry were full of flavor with the hot thi chili kicks on your lips at the right time.
Great local Thai place in Manhattan. Ordered the Drunken Noodles, Tom Yum soup, fried dumplings. Drunken Noodles is probably one of the best tasting Noodles I've ever had. The protein topping doesn't really matter, as the dish was delicious by itself.
Tom Yum soup was a bit salty but overall it was tasty. Fried dumplings were good but you could find hidden gems in the menu like spring rolls or others.
Lots of options for every kind of dish and it is rare finding a good sized restaurant in New York where u can escape the cold. This is my first Thai place but recommend it for anyone who wants a casual dine in with a variety of options.
Very tasty Thai cuisine at a reasonable price, very attentive and friendly waiter. Recommended.
I love this place! Everything was perfectly delicious. I had the lunch special and a pineapple juice. I thought the juice would be homemade but no. I realized it was from a can. But it was still good. The service was excellent. The restaurant was clean and new.
Another hidden gem in Manhattan! Delicious Thai food in a cute little restaurant that is well decorated and conveniently located 5 mins away from Port Authority. Great service, cozy atmosphere and prices are very reasonable. Ordered a Drunken Noodle and Shrimp Wonton Egg Noodle Soup, they both did not make me disappointed, our server was very nice, caring and trying to explain everything on the menu to us while making helpful suggestions. Highly recommended if you are around that area.
I came in here for dinner on the weekend. I ordered the Summer Roll as an appetizer and the Spicy Basil Entree with Shrimp. I liked the sizable portions, neat presentation, and friendly service. The Summer Roll and the Entree had super fresh vegetables with great-tasting sauces. If you like Thai food, I'd recommend this restaurant.
Aiyara Thai was absolutely wonderful. The ambience was delightful. My husband and I came around 8pm on a Saturday night, and were seated immediately at a comfortable table that had booth and chair seating. Our server, Pong, was absolutely fantastic. He was polite, respectful, kind, and anticipated everything we might need for a great dining experience - from small plates for us to share our main entrees from, and additional spoons so we could eat our rice. I haven’t even gotten to the food!!! IT WAS DIVINE! The Tom Yum soup and Tom Kha soup were flavorful, delicious and made spicy as I requested (beware of requesting spicy, they will deliver on it! Ask for chili flakes on the side instead - lesson learned). We loved the drunken noodles with shrimp and the green curry with chicken as well! We even had the Thai Iced Tea and it wasn’t overly sweet, which we loved. Dinner totally hit the spot, the entrees were a generous quantity, and great service! We will be back! Thank you Pong!
I enjoy the drunken noodle, very tastful, just a little bit salty. The waiter was really efficient. Price is reasonable, portion is good.
i ordered tom yum soup and basil eggplant with chicken. the tom yum soup was not authentic and the taste was fairly bland (like a clear tomato broth with tom yum powder), so i would not recommend it at all. the basil eggplant dish was pretty decent. again the flavors weren’t exactly the most authentic thai flavor but the dish as a whole was cooked well. the eggplant had a good texture and the sauce was flavorful (they added enough basil and chili), balanced, and good for mixing with the white rice that comes with the dish
Very good food at reasonable prices. Beers came in chilled glasses which was really nice, and you felt taken care of. The interior of the restaurant was meh, there wasn't really an atmosphere with the meal other than what's being served. Toilet is very small and crammed, and you can find the hand dryer automatically turning on whenever it wants as you are paying the toilet a visit, not a pleasant experience. Other than that, can't fault the overall experience. Food presentation was great, and staff were professional. Do you happen to be in the Hell's Kitchen area looking for Thai food, this one is a safe bet. The menu is big and has definetly something on that you would fancy.
Eat so many heavy food recently and this meal really heals me!!! This is the Thai flavor that I missed so much☺️ Also, the shop owner is really nice:)
I went for lunch Monday afternoon. It wasnt busy and the food was decent. And it wasnt pricey aswell. I would recommend this restaurant to people. Thai food is love.
