I was expecting the grilled cheese to be filled with artery clogging gold but instead it was nowhere near cheesy enough. The onion rings were fantastic and the service was good.

My son and I went to this restaurant twice, and both times we loved it. We had the Eggs Rancheros Omelet and the Feta Cheese Omelet. The food was great, including their homefries. The staff is always friendly, and there is plenty of space outdoors and indoors for seating. We plan to go back for their Benedict Burger and Gyro.

Really great diner food & the prices are excellent for TriBeCa. Went here on my lunch break and got a veggie burger and a turkey club triple decker. The food came out faster than the drinks (a soda and a michelada), but we had plenty of water. The portions were super generous too.

Wow. An affordable diner in Manhattan, Tribeca! Went to Gee Whiz Diner and got a burger and fries. My fellow diner got lentil soup. They've got indoor and outdoor dining. Indoor was pretty empty on a Wednesday around 5 pm. Staff was very attentive and on point. Food came out quickly and was good. Love that they've got a smaller menu, unlike most diners.

I enjoyed lunch for two at this small diner. We had a tuna melt sandwich and a gyro combo. Honestly, both of us could have eaten with just one plate. The total for both meals was a little over 30 dollars without tip. Service was good and quick.

This diner is standing the test of time. It’s been in this location for more than 15 years that I know of. The restaurant was once much larger and has since downsize it still serves the same quality of food. I recently started back going to the office and find it difficult to find good food in the area since Covid. So I started frequenting geewhiz, my new go to is the crispy chicken salad which features bacon cheese olives etc. it sooo good. The burger as well.

We always walk around here looking for a new place for lunch but I can’t believe how we missed this place. The grilled chicken triple decker sandwich was delicious 🤤 coffee was fresh. I like its vibe, cute colorful spot.

This was a go-to brunch place our family would go with friends after Sunday service every once in a while. The food is not the most amazing, but it's good enough for a Sunday brunch. Our kids loved coming here also.

I used to go to church in the area around 2006-2012 and occasionally visited the Gee Whiz diner before or after church Then recently I saw a piece about the diner on Pix11 NYC morning news Ben Aaron's and decided to come down for old times sake and celebrate and support its 9/11 history and the son's. effort to keep diner going after his father Nick died during pandemic Apparently Great for those young family's in Tribeca neighborhood

Standart diner experience with endless coffee and all. Beyond the regular eggs any style you will find Italian dishes, sandwiches and even salads. Very Helpful staff. Indoor and outdoor dining is now available. The prices are reasonable. Given it's location, plan to walk down your meal with a stroll along the western waterfront or the fascinating freedom tower 9/11 area (alternatively walk first, earn it, and then treat yourself here!)

Best little diner ever. The over the top Christmas decorations were awesome and they were definitely the main reason I wanted to go into the diner in the first place. The food was very tasty, the price was reasonable for the area we were in and the staff were nice & friendly. I had a very enjoyable visit here.

Quaint and convenient little place in Tribeca, we were sat quickly and service was pretty quick too. Food quality was good, a little bit above your diner average, but only a little. I had the chicken Caesar wrap and was quite satisfied with what I got. That being said, even though it is city prices, the pricing is a bit steep for a diner, and they really seem to love to nickel and dime you for anything you want extra or changed to your order.

This place has been part of Tribeca since the early 90s... probably earlier. It almost closed during Covid, but the neighborhood rallied around it for a good reason! Everything here is fantastic. A true diner with a little more of - if this makes sense - UMPH!! My children are now away at college after eating here for years, beginning in 2003, and every time they come back home, all they wanna do is go to Gee Whiz, I kid you not!

Food was good, service was great! Simple, low key diner but don’t expect diner prices — this is still NYC.

I have been visiting Gee Whiz since the 90's and no matter what renovations they had, their food always remain the same; superb!! The staff there are so polite and knowledgeable about the food they served. When you can't decide which food to get, Gee Whiz's staff gives you so much detail, your mouth waters from the selection. When you do get your food you realize you have awaken your taste buds with goodness. Whether you are looking for breakfast, lunch or dinner, you will never be disappointed. Gee Whiz's food is delectable and never stale.
