Thank you to all the reviewers, because it is you who made me decide to try Ethos. I chose the seafood items from their prix fixe lunch menu. For appetizers, I had the grilled octopus, which was so delicious and I am still craving for it now. Next item I tried was the filet of sole. It was so good yet so simple at the same time. As I had to rush back to a meeting, I didn't really have much time to savor the atmosphere or surroundings, but I definitely will return for a larger meal.
I love Greek food.
Simply love its freshness and simplicity.
So, Ethos Gallery is the first choice for me because the food is good, the place is beautifully adorned with wall painting and artworks and it's pretty close from the UN.
Feels like we are in the patio in one corner of breathtaking Greece.
I know.. I am exaggerating but seriously, the food is good.
Tried the lunch special and choose the spinach pies, and moussaka, the potato, eggplant and mince beef pie a la Greek. It's heaven! I want to get some more..even the fresh baked sourdough bread and pitta with hummus dipping as a starter is super!
They of course have more choices, including all those fabulous seafood. Scallops, calamari, salmon, whiting, lobster... You name it..
Go, try it yourself.. Won't regret it!
Real Greek. Greeted at the door by a friendly & welcoming smile, we walked into Greece in New York! The food was amazing, fresh fish & seafood dominated the table, the best octopus I've had anywhere including Athens.
The atmosphere is lively & loud, I'd return in a heart beat. Watch out for the cocktails, the Greek martini is STRONG!
