I ordered the chicken fajitas that were very good but a little skimpy on the rice, beans and tortillas for a $30 meal. Very loud at peak hours but a cool vibe. Server kept us waiting and we had to ask others for water refills and for the bill. No free chips and salsa but worth the $5 to get their salsa that had a heavy garlic flavor. Dessert was a disappointment which was the chocolate lava and ice cream. Small and not that good.
Stopped by Dos Caminos for a work luncheon. Two of us orderred sizzling fajitas , other people ordered the birria tacos and steak/ cheese fajitas. The chips and guacamole and all of our lunch meals were fantastic and it's a beautiful location.
Thank you for a very pleasant afternoon.
First time eating here. I came in through the back door I guess, but I didn’t know it wasn’t the main entrance my bad. Two girls by the bar didn’t greet me nor guide me anywhere so I asked another lady there and she told me I had to ask the bartender then I asked them if I could seat facing the street, and one of the girls brought me the menu for the food only but not the drinks but Francisco was kind enough to bring it to me and he recommended GUAVA COCO BLOSSOM which it was so good. The food was excellent, I loved the nachos. Francisco was my server and he was so nice and courteous. I might give Dos Caminos another chance because I love food and the drinks were excellent.
The atmosphere and food was excellent, the only complaint I have was with the amount of steak we received for our sizzling fajitas. Overall, really great spot for drinks and a quick dinner.
Best Mexican I have had in a long time!! Great guac and delicious margaritas!
Love the atmosphere, music was a little loud, which made it hard to communicate, great vegetarian and vegan options, and the cauliflower tacos with the street corn didn't disappoint.....overall wonderful place.
Give it a try!!!!
Dos Caminos is conveniently located in Times Square and it is what you would expect of a chain restaurant (if even not one). Food was fine but it was a get ‘em in, get ‘em fed, and get ‘em out type feeling and atmosphere. It is good if you are in a hurry and need some Mexican food but there are likely better options if you are looking for something more traditional.
Look at that queso, need I say more?! It was so good and the frozen margaritas were perf to combat the NYC summer heat! Highly recommend for groups, families and friends! We sat at the bar and were able to get service easily as well!
Very tasty Mexican food and the cocktails are very original. The chicken Caesar salad was very very tasty. The smokes Reinacher for a cocktail was quite a treat to say the least for all the senses not only is it tasty with a nice smoky finished because of them as a cow the cinnamon gives an extra bonus to the senses.
We went randomly to this place for dinner. The food and the drinks was good. Prices are the typical NYC standards. The service can be improved
The food was good, a little expensive and I was expecting better since Mexican food in NYC is known for being delicious! I am not sure I will come back
I shared an awesome experience this past Saturday together with my adult daughter and five of her friends. Logan was our server and he was simply wonderful - always smiling and constantly checking to see if could to anything for our table. The food and drinks were excellent. I went there with low expectations as this restaurant is in such a touristy area, but I was pleasantly surprised in every way! I would definitely go there again!
Ella was thee most amazing service staff. She treated us like celebrities. Answered all questions and extremely friendly. The food was outstanding.EVERYTHING was delicious!!!! We would have repeated there for dinner our second evening in the city but already had reservations for elsewhere.
Came in with reaervation. Was set almost immediately with a lot of people waiting. Waitress took our order and everything came out quickly and tasted delish.
Our server was awesome. We loved her so much! The food was decent, but it did not exceed expectations by any means. The chilaquiles were bland, the huevos rancheros were ok, but I wouldn't write home about them. I didn't try the breakfast burrito, but the person who ate it said it was good. The coffee was the best part of our meal - delicious!
Came here for a 5:45 p.m. dinner reservation before seeing a show at the Lunt Font Theater. Service was quick and friendly and we were able to relax before the show. I had the skillet chimichangas and a paloma which were delicious. It can be hard to find decent food around Times Square but this place worked out perfect for us.
My wife and I went here on Christmas Day, our server was Winston who came to our table as soon as we sat down, I ordered the Chicken burrito and my wife the beef burrito, only she didn't want the guacamole on hers. Well I guess they were very busy in the kitchen( I know I used to work in the restaurant field myself) and they forgot not to add it, well our server Winston came over and we told him what happened, and what a prince he was in taking care of us and a new meal was made for the wife and she loved it, (my meal was also great too) and after we finished our meal Winston gave us a free dessert because of the mix
-up. It was so good, we had the can't think of the name but the look like logs you can say which came with chocolate and caramel with a side of whipped cream; to die for, oh yes they're called churros. Winston was so gracious to us, he deserves a big raise don't lose him. 5 stars.
Great place to eat service was fast and friendly the food was great. The atmosphere was authentic. Give them a try
