Best restaurant upper west side! Great selection of wine and original Mediterranean food! Fresh and tasty. I loved the lamb and the frozen creme brûlée. I even tried an amazing Israeli wine. An intimate place with good music and not too loud so you can really enjoy your dinner. I will definitely go back ! Often !

Went here with a classical music meetup for happy hour and food. I opted for their natural ginger ale and enjoyed some healthy, home-style finger foods at their half-off happy hour prices. It was just around the corner from the concert venue, so very convenient for the occasion. Friendly atmosphere, nice, low-lighting and rustic feel. Simple, Israeli style food and right by the 96 st station, 1/2/3 Trains. Will go there soon again before the Debussy concert!!!

I visited Vino Levantino a couple of weeks ago, as it is directly opposite where we stayed. Lovely friendly staff, great relaxed atmosphere and even better wine! Next time I come here I will have to give the food a try, as I saw photos on the website and food looks divine! :-)

I’ve been to Vino Levantine about four times and they’ve always been consistent with their service and prepping of meals. They have a nice range of wines from countries surrounding the Mediterranean that usually don’t come to mind when you think of wine. Food is always great. And the setting is always great, lowly lit, warm and cozy. Perfect for an intimate gathering with friends or significant other.

We began our meal with hummus and falafel. I try falafel at every restaurant I visit that has it on the menu - so I have my faves. This one came in 5th. The hummus ran a close 2nd with my favorite place... so very good showing here. Had my first vegan lasagna experience here - have to say it was delicious but pricey for the portion size. We tried a wine that I hope I can find here in NJ because oh my goodness, YUM.

Finally we found a spot that we love that happens to be delicious and kosher. From the first moment we entered owner Chaim was attentive to every single person in the place. I loved family photos hanging in the restaurant, such a special and emotional connection. We were able to catch a live music show. Food was delicious and tasted like it was made by your aunt or grandma, nice wine selection. Can’t wait to come back again. Also, there is outside seating!!!

Beautiful space with warm ambience. The decor of the dining room is elegant but comfortably familiar. The wine selection is broad and creative. I often find new wines that I like here. The food is delicious and healthy and with the small plates it's easy to get a fun assortment of yummyness. The salads are fresh and flavorful. The lamb chops are great. Perfectly grilled. The house baklava is the perfect finishing touch. The service is very friendly too. Great neighborhood wine bar, highly recommended!

My mom and I had the most lovely early Mother's Day brunch here on Saturday. Not only was the food delicious, the atmosphere beautiful, but the staff was so attentive. We chatted with one of the owners and he was a doll--not to mention the sweetest waitress helped us decide what to order. Our favorite dish was the Burekas, but anything on the menu is good! Thanks again for the wonderful time, Vino Levantino. We'll be back on our next visit.

Great cocktails and really good food. My husband had the pasta with clams, and I had the gnocchi, and both were excellent. We started off with the mozzarella appetizer, and nearly asked for a second one before remembering we had our mains coming. For us, the portions are perfect. The atmosphere is relaxed and charming; I can't believe this is the same place that was once New Post Coffee (which I had a great affection for, but ate in less and less over the years before the quality went way down.) Can't wait to try the desserts. Welcome to the neighborhood, SoleLuna!

I worked around the corner from this lovely place and used to go all the time and enjoyed it so much each time, that I still go out of my way visit. The wine list is strong and varied but not overwhelming. There is something for everyone and at every price point. There are even a few Israeli wines for the kosher crowd. Lunch and dinner menus are as varied as the wines and the portions are somewhat small by American standards which is refreshing. The waiters and bartenders are always knowledgeable and helpful and very friendly. Music is never too loud in here but there is just enough for a nice ambiance and the whole restaurant is warm and inviting from the street, regardless of the season. If you're in the neighborhood (or even if you're not) this is a lovely little bar/restaurant that shouldn't be missed.

Amazing place for wine and awesome Israeli fare. Jahnoon, humus, Israeli salad, Arab salad. Really awesome stuff. A hidden gem in the upper west side. The owner was very inviting and atmosphere warm. I loved the bar too. Great place for brunch!

I love everything about this place and make my way there weekly. The decor is outstanding, special enough for a nice evening with my wife or friends, and quiet enough for a first date when you don't want to run into everyone you know. When they offer live music, run don't walk, but even on an ordinary Monday you'll find amazing fresh food with the best ingredients, great service, and an attentive and fun owner.

Amazing atmosphere, amazing wine! Perfect food, Great hummus, many of the dishes remind me of my grandmother's cooking which is so hard to get by not only in NYC and maybe thats my best complement. Going to come back for sure!

A friend recommended I try out Vino Levantino when I was in the neighborhood. I wasn't disappointed at all. It's small restaurant/wine bar, with excellent food and a nice selection of wines. I love the middle-eastern style food, and it's done in the best unpretentious way. We started off with some appetizers which were excellent, especially the cream eggplant. The Masabaha (it's a variation of a Hummus plate) was pretty good as well. I then had the shishkebab, and my friend had the salmon-cauliflower patties (a creative streak, I should say). Both were very tasty. We both had some good wine along with the food, and all for a decent price. Will definitely be coming back.

Enjoyed an early evening of drinks and apps with my colleagues. It was delicious and the service was great. I really enjoyed their home brewed ginger ale with pomegranate. The cheese plate had good variety and the hummus was good too.

I was visiting NYC two weeks ago. Based on my friend recommendation we went there for a dinner. I was surprised to find a very nice place, very good list of wines (we tried a great Israeli wine) and other drinks. We enjoyed the special menu(we had Shish-kabab & Humus). The owner is very friendly and social. We will be back.
