So excited to discover this friendly, delicious little gem! Quality Colombian coffee, authentically prepared and super rico arepas con queso! Next best thing to a cafecito in Medellin... and the sangria and extensive food and drink menu items are equally tasty.

This is such a Nice, modern, cozy, hip little store. The staff is extremely friendly and efficient. There's a variety of seating options inside. I ordered a hot latte with extra shot, and hot drip house coffee. Both were considerably weak for my tastes. I was expecting a stronger more robust flavor coffee, considering it's supposed to be Colombian coffee. The latte was just too milky, not enough coffee flavor. They told me the latte normally comes with three shots, and I added an extra shot anyway. Tasting the drip I can see why I couldn't taste coffee in the latte. The flavor of the coffee was very good with bright acidic notes however, just more of a light or medium roast I guess. The atmosphere and vibe was really cool, I enjoyed spending time in the store. I wouldn't go out of my way again to come back here in the future, but I would definitely return if I'm in the immediate vicinity. Definitely give it a try.
This cafe is unique in a sense that it is Colombian based. It is refreshing seeing a different type of cafe that offers Colombian food/pastries. The coffee on its own is just right - not too strong and not too light. Although what I've noticed is that if any specialty coffee is made, it really depends on the barista if you get a good mix or not. It's happened where sometimes I'll good too much milk and sometimes they leave it just right🤷🏽♀️ I've had some of their food like Choclo con queso, chocolate cake and empanadas. Choclo con queso is a mix of sweetness from the corn saltiness from the cheese. The empanadas are stuffed with whatever filling you choose so they don't skimp out. And the chocolate cake is not overpoweringly sweet. The place is pretty spacious with few tables indoors and outdoors for when the weather is right. The staff is super friendly and helpful.
Had the El Matador sandwich. The flavors compliment one another. The star of the show is the well marinated meat. The tomato, Colombian cheese, green sauce are there just to give it extra flavor. I believe their is lettuce on it also but it's not necessary- at least not in this sandwich. Won't be missed if taken out
I have travelled the world extensively over 40 years. I ate at all restaurants ranging from pop & mom’s to Michelin three stars. This is my honest review of the coffee spot Romeo and Juliet in midtown west, NYC. Their colombian coffee is expectedly very good. They also have some typical local pastries. I tried the corn one with molten cheese on top, yummy. There are some nice colombian-inspired murals for your IG pictures.
Came here to grab a coffee and stayed a bit longer because of the beautiful cosy interior. Coffee was great! Staff was super nice. They have WiFi as well if you want to get some work done. Looked like it’s a good lunch place.
Good coffee, delicious matcha. Friendly personal and tasty snacks.
A bit pricey, but food is delicious & worth it. Juliet’s Big Brekkie is a solid choice.
Best chai latte I enjoyed so far in NYC. Loved their ambiance too. Located in a very nice place with sit out area and indoor sitting facilities. Self service is appreciated.
Cranberry muffin, delicious! Almond croissant, delicious! Beef empanadas, delicious! Coffee is good. Service was prompt and precise.
Very friendly employees, and delicious coffee and food!
