Not even a bit overrated. The most amazing crepes cake I've ever had in my entire life. If you like green tea, you can get the matcha one. But I always go for the signature cake. So tasty and filling yet subtle
Decadent cakes that are elegant in their simplicity. I tried the signature cake, and I cannot wait to go back to try their other flavors. Read my complete review on my blog.

Loved the classic and green tea cakes! Layers of crepe and creamy filling, with just the right sweetness. Place is super packed, next time we'll just go for take-out.
Tasty, sugary and not so sugary treats. Service is lacking but treats are something special
First time to this Lady M location and it doesn't disappoint! Just as good as any other locations. Service was friendly and attentive.
Their green tea crepe cake is the best in business and is highly recommended! If you are not a fan or green tea or crepe cakes in general, I suggest trying their other specialty cakes. I tried their Royal Milk Tea Mousse Cake and it was perfect! I actually like this milk tea cake better than the version at HARBS (Japanese cake shop on 9th Ave.).
.
Pros:
(+) Chocolate crepe cake was everything!
(+) Yes the green tea crepe cake was delicious, but don’t sleep on that chocolate cake...it is so good!
(+) Plenty of seating in the food court
Cons:
(-) None

*Note: Although the cakes are delicious, it’s definitely a splurge. 1 slice of cake is $9 and a whole 9 inch Chocolate Mille crepe cake is $95.
Ordered green tea crepe, chocolate banana crepe, and coconut rum crepe and all of them were really delicious I couldn't pick a favorite! Ordering was very easy, they use Apple Pay. You can sometimes watch as they prepare the crepe cakes.
Had a slice of the original crepe cake, it’s a bit too heavy and creamy than what I imagined. It’s almost $10 a slice including tax, you are pretty much paying for the brand & the hype. I remember having them two years ago and was very pleasantly surprised.
Love Lady M cakes and this cute place inside the plaza food hall. My favorite are original, strawberry short cake, chocolate checker and green tea.
The green tea crepe cake was out of the world good. Best cake I have ever tasted. It was close to $10 after tax for one slice, but if I think about the labor that went into making the cake, (cream - crepe - cream - crepe..... seems endless layers) I don't think it is an absurd price. The crepes were so thin. I was just blown away by how good it was.
Love Lady M and their cakes. Bought 4 of their mille-crepe cakes and an eclair for a gift. It is pricey but it's Lady M and it's New York... what do you expect. Cakes were delicious and they packaged them up nicely so even after my beefy 15 year old brother was swinging the bag around and a four hour train ride the cakes were intact.
Super cute lady m! I love that it's a circular bar. Although sometimes it's hard to find seats in the food hall.
My favorite cake of all time from lady m isn't actually their famous Mille crepe, but instead their red velvet cake! Most people tend to not get that one because they think it looks too normal. But trust me, it'll be the BEST red velvet cake you'll ever have! It's perfectly fluffy but not too fluffy and not too sweet. The cream cheese, oh my, so much better than regular frosting. However, they only sell the red velvet by the slice in the winter time. So when they don't, I just buy a full size medium cake for $45 and share it with my friends and family. Totally worth it!
Also another seasonal cake that I love is the chestnut flavored Mille crepe, only available in the fall.
TIP: Use a hot knife to have a clean cut through the cake and keep the layers in tact!
The cakes here are nothing less than perfect. We ordered the 20-layer signature and 20-layer green tea and both are so delicate with just the right amount of sweetness and texture. You can see every layer of the crepe and each bite is a blast of flavor. If you're looking to purchase a birthday cake or any other reason to celebrate, this is definitely the #1 place to go. You can also purchase a whole cake or individual slices if you have cravings! Lady M, you really top cake perfection.
*Warning* Really pricey for a piece of cake...
But even after shelling out $7.50 for a slice of cake... I somehow don't feel all that cheated by Lady M... I guess that's good?
Lady M Milles Crepes
Size: Normal
Price: $7.50 / slice
Review: The kind I got just had layers and layers of crepe with creamy, milky filling smeared onto every layer. The top layer reminded me of creme brulee because I think it was somehow torched on top to form a sweet, somewhat crisp layer of crepe. The cake itself is not too sweet, but just right. The layers also create a very interesting consistency in your mouth... never experienced anything like this.
I would say though if you want variety/options, get here early if you can. I got to Lady M at 6:30 PM on a Monday and there were only a handful of selection left because apparently everything else = sold out.
The shop itself is small at this location and there are also a number of other food options around. You can sit at any of the open tables to enjoy your slice of cake!
Lady M takes the whole "let them eat cake" to a whole new level...
So, paying $8-$10 for a piece of cake might seem ridiculous. But let me ask you, can you make a 20 layer crepe cake with crepes thin as paper and cream delicate yet rich and decadent? If the answer is no, suck it up and try this cake. You most definitely won't regret it.
As someone who is lactose (TMI) and without a sweet tooth, I tried the green tea on a whim (when in New York!). Without much expectation, my first bite induced a literal moan in the middle of my hotel lobby. I was absolutely blown away by just how much flavor was packed between all of these exquisite layers. The cream itself was incredibly silky, creamy and at the same time, light. Between the richness of the cream, subtle bites of matcha came through, balancing out the sweetness.
I wish I knew how good it was and purchased a few more flavours to try. It was definitely worth the stomach-ache and worth another visit (or ten).
Located in the Food Hall below The Plaza Hotel, there are lots of little shops where you can try lots of different foods.
I stopped at Lady M Cake Boutique because I have heard their crepe cakes are wonderful. At the time, there were three employees behind the round counter and perhaps about 15 options of sweets.
There is a clear glass protector in front of the sweets: the only unfortunate thing is that many people reach their hands/heads beyond the glass to get a better look. There's a sign telling you NOT to do that - but alas, people don't follow the directions.
Tried the Signature Mille Crepe and the Green Tea Mille Crepe. Ordering and paying took less than 5 minutes (even with a few people ahead of me) and I asked for my cakes to go. The presentation is on point - a beautiful box for both slices together, plus 2 fancy plastic forks, made to look like silverware, and napkins.
The signature mille crepe was classic and delicious. The crepe layers cut super easily with a fork and the entire cake is creamy and buttery. While a little bland compared to the Green Tea in my opinion, it was still delicious.
The green tea was my all-time favorite. The crepe layers don't cut as easily, so my cake would not maintain it's perfect cake shape, but that didn't matter to me because OH MAN was it tasty. Creamy, flavorful, and perfectly semi-sweet. Would definitely recommend.
At $10 a slice, I don't think I could frequent Lady M as often as I'd like. For a treat, however, you must try the Green Tea crepe cake. 20 layers of flat-out deliciousness.
I decided to go here on a whim after tasting a spoonful of this creation from someone who was anxtious for me to try this new “cake” phenomenon.
The trial portion was too small for me to make a conclusion but caught my attention enough to where I took time out on my only day off to drive into the city, pay 44$ for parking and 53$ for a smaller cake which came with a complimentary knife (very nice touch)
In short it was amazing and my family enjoyed it. Total cost was over 25$ per slice of cake and I’m telling you it was worth it.
This isn’t a cake, it’s an experience.
Will take this trip again in the near future.
I am only writing this review for the Green tea crepe cake. I have no idea how long the wait is or if people are rude. All I want is that green tea crepe made from 20 perfect layers of amazingness with creme and whatever heavenly magic they add to it.
One of my friends ordered this as their wedding cake and I'm pretty sure I ate a whole cake by myself. I ultimately got fat and felt sick from all that food, but I was surely happy. As an awesome anniversary present, my gf got me a few slices of the cake again... Once more, I got fat and stayed that way ever since.
If you want to get fat and be really satisfied with life. Eat the Lady M green tea crepe cake. $8 a slice is worth a few more hours at the gym for this foodie.
One of my all time favorite dessert spots. Their cakes & pastries are delicate with the right amount of sweetness. Best part about this location is that it's close to central park so you can picnic to enjoy your cake & the view.
This is like a small vendor within the food hall. The cakes were a bit disappointing, wasn't sure what to expect. The creme is between the crepe layers but it was different. I think the texture was a bit weird but flavour wise, it was tasty. I had the green tea one.
I have to admit that the Lady M Mille-Crepe cakes are phenomenal, a dessert like no other. What other confectionary has layers upon layers of crepe with a pastry cream in between? They're almost too many to count and the resulting creation is a work of art. Each bite is a contradiction in textures, but it's perfectly sweetened and delightfully airy. Yes, each slice is a little pricey and purchasing a whole cake is quite the investment. It's even more difficult to choose a flavor, or to perhaps opt for their Strawberry Shortcake instead. But for a one-of-a-kind dessert, you can't go wrong with Lady M.
Exquisite green tea cake that all of Asia is obsessed with. The green tea cake is a multi layer cake (probably 15 layers). Not too sweet. They sell tons of these a day. Probably the most popular food stand at the plaza consideri3how many lady m bags u see walking around.
Excellent desserts. Cheese cake and green tea cake were my fav!
