Tasty rolls, I got a lamb and chicken Tikka roll. Could be a bit more spice / onion etc. Also on the smaller side for the price. Worth trying

Food was really tasty and came out really fast. Entrance is at the top of the stairs on the right might miss it the first walk up. Seating is a bit tight so plan ahead if the seats are taken. We went late night on Sunday so there was plenty of room to sit for a group of 3. Ordered 2 chicken rolls and 1 beef roll all with parathas and they were all really great.

Must have Kati Rolls! First, the tips: Make sure you are neither too hungry nor in a hurry… else you’ll have a bad experience. Order two per person… Take out I guess, can’t imagine sitting in the scarce seating area while hungry impatient people (myself included) pack the passageway tightly. Perhaps they have seating downstairs? Finally, the rave!!! Taste: unbeatable!! Gosh the aroma killed me while I was waiting! I could barely hold off grabbing a couple paneer pieces off their grill 🤪 Vibe: authentic. The whole street has that inner neighborhood feel. Reminded me of ‘Purani Dilli’. Wait: too long… try to give yourself enough time to wait 🤷‍♀️ So glad our local friends brought us here!!

Something slightly unique from the more typical style of Indian food - really flavorful and filling but not heavy. Open late - huge plus.

This place has been a life-saver for me during the pandemic with long hours of work during the day - always had a quality supply of rolls even during the most awkward hours of the night. I’d like to take a moment and comment how affable the staff is and the warmth they exude on the Macdougal Street location - it reflects in the food they make for their customers and how they treat everyone. I was here once again yesterday, and the consistency of the above said points remains unbeatable. Must try out while in NYC.

My friend and I visited this restaurant while in NYC for a week, and it was some of the best, most underrated food I had! It was actually better than some Indian restaurants I went to in New York. Williams was exceptional with his service, gave great recommendations and was a very friendly guy. I felt welcome in the store. I highly recommend the aloo masala roll, my only regret is not going back for a second one before they closed the kitchen. 10/10 would go again!

Tiny little kathi roll place that does most things right (including the price and portions) but misses out on the juiciness of traditional kathi rolls. The tikka rolls while tasty were just too dry.

Very good paratha rolls, the chicken was good w the yogurt to go with it. The service was really good as well, Williams made everything nice and easy for us! Will definitely be back because of both of these factors

1. The kathi rolls are good, the serving is very small compared to the price but the taste is good. 2. Vegan momos were bland and slightly bitter. 3. The staff is not very good at communication , especially for he people taking the orders. I specifically asked the guy about the condiments served with the roll and I specifically asked if need to buy condiments. He said cilantro chutney is complementary. I took my order and left as there is no dine in, later on to find there were mo condiments. Otherwise also they are not very friendly or the people serving at that time were not friendly. 4. Only rating 4/5 bec of the taste of the roll since living in Brooklyn, I dont get very authentic taste here.

Pretty good place for some kati rolls! Got the chicken tikka masala, lamb, and aloo masala roll. Definitely liked the aloo masala roll the best, and would definitely recommend getting two rolls or a roll and momos to feel full! Chicken momos were delicious - well flavored and crispy bottoms were great. Also wonderful with their spicy sauce. Also tried their alfonso mango lassi and was delighted but how good it was.

Overall it was an okay experience. I like the unda steak roll best. Unda shami roll was good too. Mango lassi was packed and missing nutrition label. Gajar halwa was meh. It's a bummer they have alcohol when the food is supposed to be 'halal'. They need to be more transparent about the food being halal and have somw certificate's on display! I had to wait a few times for the card swipe reader to work.

I love Kati Roll! Every time that I go to an NYU event my last stop before heading home to the Jersey suburbs is Kati Roll for a spicy unda chicken. Almost like home for me!
