Brilliant brilliant place to dine in. Great breakfast and service from our waiter. Not far from Madison Square Gardens. The food was delightful as was the coffee. Had the big brekkie and cast iron cooked eggs. That was so amazingly full. of flavour. Great choice. If around NYC then get breakfast here just amazing food.
Amazing brunch place! Super nice and attentive staff, with a very extensive menu with really tasty food. We ordered the bbq pulled pork and smashing avo benny’s, they were so good, specially the first ones. We also tried the belgian waffle which I also recommend. Definitely a place to come back to.
Very lively Austrian brunch spot. The wait can be pretty long on the weekends but you can add yourself to the queue online and get an estimate of when your table will be ready. Best to be around the area in case tables open up faster than usual. They have traditional brunch staples but also more outside the box and imaginative offers. The place is a little loud and busy and is not a sit and relax place. It's a get together and let it out place, which is not for everyone but we found it to be quite enjoyable.
This is an all around great place for brunch, would definitely go back! Host was friendly, service was on point and quick. The dishes we took were very tasty, well cooked and well presented. I would go again to try different dishes.
The reason I put 4 stars for atmosphere is that the place is a bid rowdy (due to how busy it is which is a good sign) but maybe increasing the music volume a bit would help to not hear the people talking beside you
Overall the food was really good. The waffle was one of the best I've had for a while, it's just very small. In fact most of the servings were on the small side. Depending on the person this may be a good or a bad thing. Coffee was great and the atmosphere is lovely. Good service Definitely recommend.
Wonderful breakfast/brunch spot. It was a fun, artsy atmosphere. And great customer service; my server was very attentive. I had a lot of questions about items on the menu since this was my first time here and my server was patient and very friendly in answering my inquiries.
So many yummy items on the menu, and I ordered too much. My eyes were bigger than my stomach. The food was delicious. I'd definitely eat here again.
We were in town for a week, hand down best breakfast in town. Everyone enjoyed our food and didn’t go back simply because we wanted to try new places. Check this place out, you will not be discounted.
Fan-tas-tic!!!
I wanna eat every sunday here! Breakfast 💯💯
First thing need to know about this place; you can't call and reserve your table. So you are telling your name and people, leave ur phone number so they inform u when it's ready. Only thing I didn't like she made me wait even after my table was ready just bc my friends were late! I was therefor 15-20 mins standing so this was rude and nonsense!
But the meals and once u sit everything is perfect. Manager also came to us and ask about the foods. They were so nice. We ordered; smoked salmon Benny and Belgian waffle 🧇 ( u can see the pics)
One word: AMAZING! DELICIOUS🤤🤤🤤
They make without Gluten instead of the bread they made base w potato 🥔 wowowo all of the egg Benedict's this was my fav!
Athmosfer is also nice so we enjoyed our morning there a lot.
Thanks Citizens of Chelsea 🪩❤︎
Now, My favorite breakfast in New York. Healthy, yummy and satisfied Mr. wonderful as well. His Eggs Benny Classic was incredible with the best hollandaise he’s ever had.
My eggs over Kale Beet Salad were delicious and so was my oat-milk latte. Cannot wait to have the Green Goddess ShakShuka The waiters hustled, and we felt spoiled.
Great food
Fresh and flavorful
However not a great choice for a brunch or prolonged stay since they only have one bathroom the line can get long and it is always very busy.
I’ve been here several times and will keep coming back. The service is great, quick to get a table. The food is delicious and the coffee too. My only complaint is that the atmosphere could be better, it tends to get really loud indoors and the decor feels a bit sterile. Otherwise everything is great.
Visiting from out of town and this was the perfect place for a casual brunch with friends. Well priced and options for everyone. The coffee was fine but the food and service were great! The waitress was attentive but certainly not overbearing / hovering. I got a breakfast bowl that was fresh, tasty, and filling. My friends got the salmon eggs and chorizo oven baked eggs, which both looked great! We also got the banana bread French toast to split (taste wise, amazing! but would I call it French toast? No… more like warm banana bread with caramel sauce). For all of that, it was about $30 including tip which I feel was very reasonable! Would definitely recommend for a nice brunch!
Absolutely fantastic breakfast! They serve a lot of different breakfast options and I recommend “cast iron chorizo baked eggs” and “smoked salmon benny”. Their coffees are also very good. My personal preference is flatwhite.
Citizens Of Chelsea is a hidden gem in the heart of New York that offers an incredible breakfast experience, particularly for vegetarians. The menu boasts a wide variety of vegetarian options that are as delicious as they are diverse. For a satisfying and flavorful breakfast, look no further than Citizens Of Chelsea. Highly recommended!
This Manhattan restaurant is located in a quieter part of town and offers a good selection of healthy food options. While the entrance is easy to miss due to its understated design, the interior of the restaurant is hip.
One of the standout features of this restaurant is the emphasis on healthy eating, with a variety of options available. The portions are just right, leaving diners feeling satisfied without being overly full.
Although the menu does offer craft drinks, the non-alcoholic options could be expanded. The drinks that are available, however, are well-made and feature fresh ingredients.
Overall, this restaurant is a good choice for those seeking a healthy meal in a hip and trendy atmosphere.
Excellent breakfast spot. The inside is clean & airy. Can be added to wait-list ahead of time (I do recommend to do this). Food also great, the BBQ pulled pork Benny was delicious.
Miso chicken salad was very good and so was the matcha latte. For a brunch spot in New York, this wasn’t overly expensive and I think that’s all I can ask for.
They don’t take reservations I think but the online waitlist is super useful, you can join the waitlist remote via Yelp, and show up when you are close to the top of the list so you don’t have to stand outside the restaurant to wait!
Only downside is that there is only one bathroom and I’ve never not seen a line outside it.
