I really enjoyed this little place. Our server was this nice girl from South Korea. The candle lit ambiance is great. The drinks were on point, can’t remember the name but the server would certainly know if you show the pic. It’s a perfect balance between sweet and sour. The spices used to season the fried chicken were great and I really liked the coffee mug with little hearts.

Stopped at Doma na Rohu yesterday after spotting the place the day before in a stroll by the area. From the outside it looks cozy and not too crowded - tables are not offensively close to each other. They have a pan-eastern European menu with some German dishes centered on classics like sauerkraut and bratwurst. The goulash (beef & pork stew) was very well seasoned and balanced, served with pieces of bread to dunk in the soup. The bratwurst dinner and the smoked brisket were exceptionally tasty as well. I would recommend this place for a quiet dinner in a non pretentious space.

Unusual place (Czech but with a mix of German and Polish food and drink) but worth the visit. We stopped in for just coffee and they were accommodating and friendly. The range of coffee and tea was impressive and the decor and atmosphere was warm and hospitable.

SO HAPPY WE FOUND THIS PLACE! This is a perfect spot in the Greenwich Village area in NYC! We came here for lunch and it was probably the best food I've had all trip to NYC! The restaurant itself looks really rustic and cozy, and it's pretty spacious, with a lot of natural light (what a nice bonus)! They also have a really cute patio right outside, if you want to enjoy some people-watching with your meals. I would HIGHLY recommend the Chicken & Avocado Sandwich - the sweet mustard and pickles combo is absolutely phenomenal! The Smoked Brisket Sandwich was also incredibly delicious - simply speechless at how tasty our meals were! The beer selection is HUGE as well, so you can't go wrong by coming here! 10/10 would recommend!

My trip in N.Y.C. included visit to this wonderful place. It was a must see since I’m from Czech Rep. Beer was fantastic just like home. And the food was also great. Superb service, but sadly didn’t spoke Czech 😁 I can highly recommend it to anyone 😊

One of our regular spots - low key with good food and awesome selection of beer. One of the few true neighborhood places in West Village. Service is always super sweet too.

Wonderful food, great atmosphere, and did I mention the food was good? We shared two small plates (pigs in a blanket and dumplings) and then shared the chicken jagerschnitzel. 10/10 recommend!

If you don't find me at home, there's aa fair chance you'll find me here. Domain na Rohu, or for non- Czech speakers, Home on the Corner, offers great selection of beers on tap, tasty food, and a positive and relaxed West Village groove. And most importantly, to me, outdoor seating. I just love it here, sipping my beer, while observing Village and other people, and their babies, dogs, and pecularities. :) You won't regret visiting Home on the Corner. (The pic is from a lil' garden across the street)

My favorite coffee place/eatery in Village. While I liked Perry Street location more, this has more room and I can always get a seat. Same great menu.

Cozy place with central European menu and fantastic Czech beer. It's an eclectic mix - the ambience trends toward a kind of a Czech countryside pub. I've had gulas & knedliky - extremely good, though the recipe seems more Hungarian than Czech - the burger which is good, and sausages which were great. The beer was excellent. The wait staff was quite friendly. Well worth a visit!

Reasonably Authentic German and Austrian cuisine with some Czech influences.

Had a great girl's night here. Service and servers always excellent. I always get the Goulash (it's a problem, maybe). It is consistently soooo good. It had a bit of heat this time that only made it better. Decent beer and wine selection. Tried my friend's warm german potato salad (spoiler alert: there's bacon in it) and the fried chicken entree. Both excellent. Warm apple strudel for dessert - so good. Eastern European comfort food done right with a cozy atmosphere.

Restaurant and coffee place. Very cozy. Entrance on 7th Ave. South. Serves Hungarian/Eastern European style foods. Menu changes every so often and meals are simple and tasty. The staff is one of the friendliest in the village. Very good selection of beers and a full bar. In good weather there are a few tables outside. Open late.

As a visitor from Prague, I was pretty taken aback when scanning the signs along the street and suddenly seeing a few words in my mother tongue. Well, I did not regret going in at all. Albeit not entirely Czech (which in some aspects means "better than Czech"), the food was very nice and we also had a pleasant talk with the owner... his Czech was very respectable! Definitely worth a visit not only for expats and tourists - even a true New Yorker can enjoy a good roast pork experience there :)

Love the food and service. The Czech style food taste deliciously authentic. The location makes for a great spot to people watch. Breakfast was also a treat and quite filling, along with a great cup of coffee.

Inexpensive and delicious. I had the schnitzel and my wife had the turkey sandwich. The schnitzel was thin, lightly breaded, and delicious with the compote it was served with. My wife's turkey sandwich took the cake though. Fresh roasted turkey (not deli meat) with cheese and avocado, amazingly refreshing and inexpensive. Fairly quick service for a late lunch on a lazy Saturday.

This is a total neighbourhood gem - lots of space to sit indoors and out, and a great selection of beer and wine. Lots of locals coming in and out, which makes for a very laid-back vibe. Friendly waitstaff, and the Czech-influcenced menu is really good. I had the Chicken Riesling stew, which was delicious. Great for people watching everyone walking down 7th Ave as well :)
