Super yummy Thai food. Even my picky eater loved it. My partner says it’s the best food he’s ever had. Even used the word Foodgasm. Definitely going back. 😋

The food at LumLum is absolutely excellent, and they stay true to their recipes as I tried to request less spice in my dish, but they said that they couldn't alter the recipe. For me, that was a signal that the kind of Thai food I was ordering was truly authentic. I had one of their curries, and most of my friends ordered noodle dishes, which they all liked. I loved the decor and the space, but the restaurant itself is a bit crowded. There's barely any room to walk around, and for my party of 5, we really had to scoot close together and move the table to allow the party behind us to get up and leave / use the bathroom / etc. I would come here again, just with a smaller group.

I can’t deny that this place is one of the best spot in Hell’s Kitchen and became my favorite so far. Since I came here at the first time, I always think about when will I come back here again? What a perfect place to spend time and enjoy eating. All foods are charming and very tasty. All servers are very attentive and friendly. This is what we feel we want to come back. I would like to recommend Goong Yang because this refers to how authentic Thai river grilled shrimp. I was a goosebumps when I tried this. Felt like enjoy this by the beach. Also Fried fish with Chu-chee curry, this one made me feel so happy for no reason, the taste is so amazing and authentic. I hope you all like this place and enjoy their foods here.

Thai spot in surf shack setting focusing on light but flavorful seafood dishes. The flavors are well balanced and refreshingly citrusy. Highly recommend the calamari and papaya salad for appetizers, the whole fish, and make sure to save room for coconut-heavy desserts! Make reservations to avoid waiting during peak hours.

Food is amazing. Service could use work. Not a great set up in a tight space—staff and other patrons constantly running into our chairs, table, and each other. Still giving it 5 stars which is how good the food was ha.

Had a wonderful dinner at LumLum. The taro fritters were great with the sauce. Loved the peanuts in it! Pad Thai was also delicious. 👌

Tasty, fresh, and attentive food. The dishes are relatively simple, which makes them good for combining. My favorite was the shrimp curry because of the deeper flavor and more complex texture. The grilled squid was well cooked, but it could be more remarkable with deeper grilling. The staff was friendly and attentive, though they kept asking to take plates being used, so I felt rushed out. With so many tables the place can get loud when full.

As much as I want to give this place 5 stars I have to be true and fair. Everything was great except the service the server was nice but the person bringing the food was a bit rude and just dropped the food on the table without asking who ordered the specific food. This needs to be fixed because I think this restaurant deserves a Michelin Star. We ordered a variety of food, everything was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS as a foodie who tried different Thai restaurant in New York this place is my top 1! Follow @bouffage.nyc in IG to see what we ordered. I also attached some food we got.

A heritage address for proper Thai comes correct again in new form. The seafood heavy menu has lots of unconventional highlights, and the basics bring it together strongly too. Nice to have yet another location for real 🇹🇭 in an area well known for it.

I headed to Hell’s Kitchen in NYC for dinner with my cousin. I have to admit, I was a bit irritated at first because the host seemed to be ignoring me. Finally, when he did notice me, he asked me to wait until my friend arrived. Despite the place being packed, we were seated pretty swiftly, thanks to our reservation. We decided to try the pad Thai and pad see ew, and both were alright, although not the best I’ve ever had. The watermelon salad, on the other hand, was a delightful surprise.

This is definitely my favorite Thai place in the city. I’ve recommended it to all of my friends and it does not disappoint. You HAVE to get the steamed fish with Thai herbs. I’ve never had fish more flavorful. The sauce is to die for!!!!

Crispy duck was absolutely delicious with crunchy skin. After you sock it with the curry, it creates a different texture. Highly recommend. The restaurant is a bit crammed. Make sure you don’t bring large bags.

One of the best Thai places in NYC. I love the watermelon appetizer, crab fried rice, and curry shrimp. The Thai iced tea with milk is pretty good.

Reservation recommended🙌🏻 We came on a Saturday afternoon with reservation and there was still some seats, but I know it would be full in rush hour. Beef tartare did a good job as an appetizer 😎 the fresh taste ignited our desire for more food. Usually eggs in Pad Thai would be fried with noodles but they made it a hovering net. Not overly seasoned, just adequate for a great taste. The shrimps were delicious too! I found that most people would order seafood here. I may try more seafood dishes next time. Mango sticky rice was fine and I like their Thai ice tea-- not too sweet 🥺

In a neighborhood known for Thai restaurants, the food at LumLum didn’t stand out for us. It was good overall, but it wasn’t memorable for me to return. Especially when we had to wait for a table even with a reservation; it was a tiny restaurant, which was packed when we visited in August. There were miscommunications with the waiter where she ordered dishes that we just asked her for her opinion. We ended up with the spicy beef tartare as the appetizer, which was overpowered by the salty spicy sauce. I’d not recommend. The entree portions were generous: we enjoyed the steamed fish with Thai herbs and green curry with crispy duck. Both dishes were delicious, but again, nothing out of the ordinary. We will stick to our usual Thai joint over by Valla Table.

Always busy except during the day on weekdays. Weekends after lunch is almost impossible to get a table for two or more without a reservation. I would’ve given a higher rating if I didn’t have to wait a while to be seated and I even had a reservation. We were at least seated by the window in front of the bar which was nicer than the corner table they originally were trying to seat us. Make sure your company are together and ready to go at reservation time so you can go in. Food was good and was a decent amount. One of the better Thai places in NYC.

Pad Thai (with shrimps) and Crying Tiger were spot-on! They had an eye-catching appearance and a rich taste. However for our dessert -mango sticky rice did not meet our expectations. It consisted of small slices of mango and a little bit too much sweet drizzle sauce on sticky rice, which resulted in an unbalanced taste, lacking the sweet and fruity sour essence of the dish as well chewiness of the rice. The restaurant had a compact space which was crowded inside but it had a warm and pleasant ambience. Sitting by the window provided better lighting. We truly appreciated the staff squeeze us in as we did not make a reservation. Attentive and friendly service! If you are looking for authentic Thai food in a casual setting and relaxed atmosphere, this could be a great option.
