Outstanding food in a beautiful room where you can actually hear yourself with top notch, attentive service that just doesn’t exist in most places. I can’t say enough about how delicious the food was. The mussels appetizer is sitting in a broth I could drink with a basket of bread. The short ribs were so tender and flavorful sitting atop a mound of buttery scrumptious polenta. And you must have the rice pudding for dessert! Don’t walk, run there!
We went to Gabriel’s for dinner on a busy holiday season Friday night. Parking was right across the street. We waited less than ten minutes for our table to be ready so we had drinks at the bar. The waiters and Gabriel were very helpful. When we were seated our waiter was very helpful with answering our questions. The meal including appetizers was perfect. We topped off the night with a hot chocolate cake. Excellent! It was a great meal.

We had the best time! We went for there for dinner before a show at the Lincoln Center since is close by. The dishes are delicious, good size, great flavor! The restaurant ambiance and art is just a nice complement. Service was great! They have also a nice room for special events too.
Great all the way around! Nice atmosphere, on the nice side. By Central Park, great service and great food! Vongole was perfect. Simple pasta w red sauce - perfect. Arugula salad - the best and simple. Ricotta cheesecake - OG and perfect. Drinks good too A+++!!!!
Gabriel’s bar and restaurant hosted my aunts birthday party and they went over the top. The restaurant is incredible. The food is amazing…The lamb chops.. they do events incredibly well seemingly of all sizes. Feel like I found a real gem in the city
Went in for a weekend brunch with a couple of friends. Absolutely loved the vibe and classy setting. Service was great and welcoming, food was delicious. Banana pudding from the dessert menu was absolutely mind-blowing and very fulfilling, we easily shared it between 4ppl and everyone felt satisfied. Eggs Benedict were also delicious, fresh and good portion. The place got packed by 3pm. We had a nice stroll afterwards through east side all the way up to the Guggenheim’s Museum. Will be back on my next trip to NYC!
What a beautiful restaurant and decor! Quiet restaurant and lovely staff. We were a group of 7 and were seated in a lovey area where we could converse without needing to speak loudly. Everyone raved about their meal and prices were very reasonable. I would highly recommend Gabriel’s and will definitely be back when I come back into town.
Real Tasty!!! Really nice dinner. Great Italian food. Loved the Burrata app and loved all of the pastas. The desserts were very good too. We highly recommend this place. Amazing food. We brought our seven-year-old daughter here on her birthday and they gave her the cutest happy birthday cheesecake with the best donut Ferris wheel. Gabriel, the son was super accommodating and sweet. Our daughter commented she liked him a lot. Will be back. Thank you.!
Food is what you would expect from a popular New York restaurant, and the service and atmosphere take Gabriel’s above and beyond. This is one of the few spots where we come again and again. So close to Central Park, you’d think it would be a haven for tourism, but there are always locals and regulars at the bar.
The staff takes good care of everyone and the ambience is balanced between classic, white table cloth vibe and modern, fresh decor. Definitely stop by!
Gabriel (the son) served us and he made the best suggestions. If you are visiting or plan to visit the establishment please order the meatballs! I have never had such amazing meatballs ever! Overall, I would come here again a million times if I lived in NY.

Best gnocchi I have ever had, and my husband is Italian, so that is saying something. Turns out they were handmade by our waiter. Also had the duck paperdalle pasta and it was amazing as well. Great location, excellent service.
My family and I had a perfect dinner at Gabriel's. We had a lot of good drinks (including the espresso martini 🤌) and amazing food (highly recommend the burrata app and tagliatelle bolognese). But my favorite part of the experience was the service provided by the impressive staff. Thanks for having us, we'll definitely be back!

Gabriels is an incredible restaurant I’ve been attending for over 34 years. A true gem of Manhattan the new location is even better than the last. I enjoyed an arugula salad an incredible wine list and the veal chop Milanese what a treat absolutely incredible 100% the best restaurant in nyc.
We had the privilege of dining at Gabriel’s last evening and were delighted to be seated by Gabriel himself and graciously waited on my his son (also Gabriel). The food was outstanding. I enjoyed the delicious gnocchi Sorrentina and my father dined on the perfectly cooked filet. We splurged on dessert and were absolutely not disappointed in the chocolate truffle cake. This restaurant is an absolute gem and Gabriel is a delightful host.
