Great atmosphere and food. A hidden treasure. We went twice on our stay in NYC. Service may be a little slow and may take a bit to get food....it’s not a place to rush & eat. Savor the experience.

Buca is one of my favorite “franchise style” Italian restaurant. This location is located on the third floor of the same building Planet Hollywood is located. Once the elevator door opens the environment of the old Italian decor makes you feel like you are going to a nice family Italian dinner. The food is really really good. We ordered the salad along with the large Prosciutto Stuffed Chicken and the Large Spaghetti with Meatballs (which the size and flavor of the meatballs is what they are known for). The meals are family style meals so it’s sharing portions. For example our Large Meatball meal easily served all five of us and about 1 pound of pasta was still remaining after we were full! The meal was terrific as well as the service we received. Overall this location is another must visit when in NYC. 😉

Nice family style Italian dining. Easy to order too much food. Wish the bruschetta were less cheese and more -- anything else. Spinach Artichoke Dip is good but unremarkable. The Chicken Parm is large portions and the sauce is fresh tasting and flavorful. The Baked Rigatoni has nice pieces of sausage and ice cream scoops of ricotta cheese.

Shareable portions at low prices and the food is good! Got to try several dishes and the family loved it. Definately recommend it and by far the best value in Times Square. The decor added a great italian atmosphere and the waiter was great. Place is huge and able to accomadate and feed any size party.

Love the food at this Italian chain. However unless you want a lot of leftovers it’s better to go in a group as their portions are created for 3 people (small) and 5 people (large). It’s a family friendly place. The food is delicious with lots of pizza/pasta choices; not to mention many desserts.

Ordered takeout online. Food was ready right on schedule, and the host was very friendly. I ordered the eggplant parmesan. I'm not sure I'm convinced that the portion feeds 5 as advertised. The eggplant itself was undercooked for my liking (still tough and papery) but well seasoned. The sauce is deliciously tart and sweet in the classic American Italian way. With a coupon, this was a pretty good value.

Great sharing restaurant for groups. The menu items are in shareable sizes. Small size is for 3 people and large size is for 5 people. But my friend and I (two girls) can finish 1 small size pasta. Taste is good. Pastas come with bread.

Laid back family style Italian restaurant in the heart of Times Square. Not crowded and not expensive. A great place to go to avoid the crowded Red Lobster and Bubba Gump restaurants.

We came as a large school group, so the food was ok. I think maybe in a smaller setting it would be better. Just traditional Italian foods.
