What a fabulous time we had at Momofuku Nishi. Fantastic tasting menu made our four pasta dishes and two desserts. Flavours and cooking textures were perfect and the creativity was absolutely lovely. By far the best meal I have had in NY (and I’ve had some). The wine list is very surprising with natural wines and very interesting choices. Excellent service and confortable benches. I totally recommend it.

I've never had such outstanding service in New York! This is my go-to spot on my way to or from Penn station as its only 10 blocks down 8th Av. The wine and spirit list is constantly evolving and the curated cocktail list never disappoints. I tend to be a creature of habit, so the frozen negroni is always a must-have for me. On my last visit I tried the romaine salad and potatoes. WOW. The dressing on romaine (brown butter, tamarind, fish sauce, shaved walnuts) tasted like the most umami aged cheese imaginable and a bonus that they suggest eating with your hands . The smoked yolk coating the roasted potatoes is literally something out of a dream. I can't wait for my next visit !

Great food, Mr. Chang does not disappoint! Had some pasta, a branzino the pork. The past was very memorable.

Spur of the moment dinner, luckily at one of the best restaurants in Chelsea. We weren't able to get a table but got seats at the bar. No matter, service and decor were great there too. The wait staff were very familiar with the menu and the cooking method. The food was super tasty and cooked just right. We had the Red Endive salad, Pork Pasta, and Duck Breast.

Good selection of small plates to share (pickled cabbage and other cold veggies), some interesting pasta dishes for lunch as well as Italian inspired sandwiches. The impossible burger is not bad but the fries are what did it for me - so Korean chilly to give it a kick, well done.

Outstanding experience. Went without a reservation and they made some space at the bar for us. The pickled antipasti were all great and aplenty. We ordered the chitarra spaghetti and the tagliatelle, both flavorful and cooked in a timely fashion. It is worth noting they put fermented black beans on the tagliatelle, which impart a unique fullness to the dish composition. We had a slight misunderstanding about menu item (thus the knocked star) but the manager was quick to resolve; apologizing for the menu error and honoring the advertised price. These guys work hard, efficiently and know the dishes top to bottom.

This Asian-Italian fusion was pretty delicious. Was surprised tbh. Recommend reservations for dinner. The bucatini was great. I thought the lobster pasta was overrated especially at that price point. The real stars were the iceberg lettuce salad and the red endive salad (both unpictured). The burrata and the bread was great. Pork loin was yummy as well and the nudja went over well the group. Service is very friendly.

Another incredible David Chang restaurant. One of my favorite parts of his menus are the crisp and fresh salads. They go perfect with the savory noodles. We ordered the gem lettuces and the endive. The endive was the better of the two, but both were phenomenal. For noodles, we ordered the campanelle and the cacio de pepe. Seriously the cacio was one of the best things I’ve ever tasted. 10/10 would order again.

Excellent fusion restaurant- it’s Italian influenced by Asian flavors. (Noodles were from China after all). Pastas were great. Monkfish seemed more Asian than Italian but tasted great. Service was very friendly and professional.

Chang and Co....YOU ROCK! This was on my bucket list to visit for NYC and it certainly did not disappoint. I had no trouble getting a reservation, as I was dining alone. Open table showed a few other open tables, but otherwise it was very busy even late on a Thursday. I sat at the bar with an great view of the open air kitchen environment. The bartender was very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The culture of the restaurant seemed very relaxed and comfortable. I felt at ease in my dining experience. I ordered the Tagliatelle for dinner and it was PHENOMENAL. Perfect portion, excellent flavor, and exactly what I was looking for. Couldn’t pass up dessert, and ordered the vanilla mousse. It was amazing. I could have eaten 2! Definitely my favorite meal of my trip and I will absolutely be visiting again.

Delicious! The pasta was incredibly perfect, and the peaches were both a surprise and a delight. We sat at the bar and Andrew was wonderful. He made amazing drinks.

Ordered a ton of dishes, but loved the HH fried chicken, bone marrow, and garlic noodles. Would've liked to have tried their 'meat' burger but it's only served during lunch. Will be back

Only came here to try the plant-based impossible burger so can't comment on the rest of the menu, which did look incredible! Impossible burger was definitely impressive, the bleeding plant based patty is fascinating, but taste wise I found it disappointing (although others quite liked it). The service was great and the restaurant was not particularly busy on a weekday lunch, we walked right in and got a table for 4.

Went to this place for an early anniversary dinner, didn’t disappoint! We got the scallops to start (not pictured) which were too squishy for my personal taste, but the citrus vinaigrette and picked radish we’re saving graces. The pasta tasting includes Bucatini ceci e pepe, Tortellini porcini and chive, Agnolotti chicken liver and brown butter , and Lumache duck leg agrodolce and grana padano. My favorite were the tortellini, which had such an amazing sauce I took their bread sent on the house and scooped up the rest, and the Agnolotti. My partner really liked the firmness if the noodle in the Bucatini and the heartiness of the Lumache, which made me feel extremely full. The Panna Cotta and pistachio ice cream sandwich were also extremely delicious and the finishing touch. We had a reservation at 5:30, but they let us in a few minutes early, luckily because it was freezing. The waiter were attentive and helpful, answering any questions we had about the dishes and made recommendations when asked. Thanks for a great date night, Nishi!

Had a great experience at Nishi, the food, service, and beverages all exceeded our expectations. From simple sardines on bread, to great pastas, and an excellent steak, our whole party left satisfied and happy.

Pasta tasting was great, the service was attentive but not overbearing. The pasta was well cooked: close to al dente, not over cooked.

Tasty and friendly with quick service. Everything we ordered was very delicious. We sat at the bar and the bartender who took our order was very nice, described the dishes we asked about along with the preparation and ingredients for each. I would give it 5 stars but I think it was a bit too expensive for the dishes we ordered.

Ordered the waygu crudo, bucatini, and veal sweetbread to share and everything was delicious. The waygu crudo was savory and fresh, and the toast was toasted with just the right amount of crunchiness. The bucatini is always a delight here. The veal sweetbread was very rich and delicate. Portions are a bit small though, so I would recommend 2+ dishes per a person. Service was a bit slow so didn't order more.
