This is a hidden gem. Im surprised more people dont know about this restaurant. I never write reviews but int his case I wanted to share how good this place is- from the staff- great bar tenders and waiters the owner etc all very professional and friendly..am I really in NYC? The food is fantastic. fish, steaks insanely large shrimp cocktail better than any overpriced steak house. I have never had the desserts but hear that they are great too 5 Stars!!!
Had such a great evening. The food was yummy, atmosphere brilliant and service just the best .We were looked after by a gentleman from Tbilissi, Georgia, called David . I would recommend Hudson and Malone , well worth a visit.
Incredibly tasty food and David is outstanding, I would highly recommend this NYC hidden gem to anybody! The drinks are great as well!

Then the hard choice, Chicken Pot pie or Fried Chicken with Mashed Potatoes. The waiter suggested the Fried Chicken so I went with it. WOW ! Good choice

Had the best time at Hudson Malone while on a trip to NYC with a girl friend.
I will admit, having spent many years in the service industry, I can be a little bit particular when it comes to service.
The staff at Hudson Malone has somehow nailed the perfect amount of attentiveness without coming off pushy or cheesy. They all introduced themselves with a handshake, and It really felt like they were inviting you into their home as a guest.
While the service was the star of the show for me I loved the whole vibe, the food was delish and I was happy to see a NY wine on their wine list.
Great attentive and friendly staff. Very social and comfortable ambiance. Very tasty grub and gulp. Ordered raw seafood sampler and chicken pot pie. Both were very fresh and delisch !

Fantastic local joint... be prepared for anything but, bar food. The food is amazing. Enjoyed a few apps and drink for lunch on a lazy Saturday. Jack the bartender the best!! Will definitely stop back in

I LOVE THIS PLACE! I visit it multiple times whenever I'm up here for work. Visited twice this week and brought co-workers who had never been, as always the wait staff and bartenders are always top notch. Very friendly and in tune to your needs. We had both dinner and multiple drinks both nights we visited. The new Hudson beer is great. See you next time!!!!!
Visited for Saturday brunch with a friend and it was quiet and not crowded at all. The bar was very pretty and I liked the inside decoration. The price was reasonable, but the food was okay. The server was very attentive and kind.

Food was good (crabcakes were some of the best we’ve had), but service was slow. It felt like no one was assigned to our table so we had a different person check on us when that eventually did happen
Great service! Knowledgeable staff helps pair food choices well. Had the Brooklyn Mussels with a nice Pinot Noir and loved them. Their fries are great! Recommended.
Stopped here while wandering around Manhattan. Beautiful bar, good food, Jimmy was an excellent bartender. He made it an enjoyable experience. Will stop again when I'm in town.
First Class! From the atmosphere, food and drinks, this fine establishment will provide you with the true “old school” New York vibe. I spend around 30 days in NYC throughout the year, this is a must stop every time I’m in town. I also think it’s worth noting. Not only are you going to get the best atmosphere-service-food-drinks, you get all of this in a safe environment. Mr. Quinn, from his days at the other place (I forget the name 😂 because I stopped going) has a known reputation of protecting patrons and staff. Rare combination!
With so many dinner choices in the city, it’s nice having that extra security knowing the place is operated and managed by people with high standards and who actually care about people. Thank you HM!!!
Sophisticated pub fare, the tuna tartare appetizer in particular, but also top notch traditional like the burger and fries. The soup was also nice on a cold night. Seating in the back is a quiet respite from the lively bar area in front, of you can go to the upstairs bar.
Service was excellent. The burger was delicious, though i felt the patty was a bit small. It was piled high with toppings though!

I used to drop by P.J. Clarks once in a while, after work. Until I found this place, two blocks south. I recommend it.
First time there, when I was a stranger, Doug Quinn (owner) clapped me on the shoulder, asked if all was well. Introduced me to Nick (bartender). Nick introduced me to Greg, when I asked if the kitchen was safe for people with nut allergies. Greg gave me a thorough explanation.
I just stopped by for a quick drink, but I'll be back for dinner.
Should be your first stop for a relaxing pint of ESB, better quality eats, friendly service and place to spot in while you are near 53rd and 3rd Ave. I killed some time here before going to the MOMA.
Located near a lot of offices on 3rd Street, this is a great place for a quick lunch. Service and food were quick. Menu is ample but not huge. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Where everybody knows your name... Well at least the best bartender in NYC will! Verified by the New York Times, thos bartender will know your name and your drink after just one visit! How he does it, we may never know. Just know that this is a MUST VISIT DESTINATION in NYC!!! (I would know after a dozen years of having half a dozen drinks a night!).
