I was there the Thanksgiving week with my Cousin who introduced me to this Magnificent Cornered Latin Restaurant. As I walked in the Lighting was perfect, the Music Salsa with a Moderate Volume, the Hostess quick to attend for a seat. As I sat down the Service was quick with a beautiful pleasant server. I noticed for a Monday Night the crowd was sufficient that gave this authentic Latin place a gracious atmosphere. We ordered quickly, the Drinks came in quickly with the Amiable server. For starters we had the Guacamole with the Pico de Gallo with Assorted Chips, main entry the Carnita Asada basically Assorted Braised Skirt Steak, Pork Ribs, Chicken Breast and Chorizo Served with a Rare Rectangular Shaped Fried Yuca and Sauted seasoned Spinach. To my surprise the serving for two was Seasoned to Perfection and over all the food very tasty. It was an enjoyable experience will have to come back and definitely recommend it.
Took my friend for a brunch. The place is small but the food is delicious. The staff is nice. There were no seats, but we sat by the bar to eat,we didn’t mind. The bar tender was attentive.I love the food, it’s delicious.I will go here again and tell to all my friends.
By far the best mojito in town! You'll also be surprised to learn the have the best ribs! Excellent atmosphere, go for brunch and stay for dinner!

Consistently great food and great service . Music is great when the place doesn't get too loud!! Love the vegetarian choices on the days I'm a vegan!! And they listen when u tell them to hold the cheese!!
Excellent food. Will recommend you. The only thing is that the music was a little too loud
My absolute favorite place. Drinks r amazing and so is the food. Service is always great. Thumbs way up
I've been going to the Yuca Bar & Restaurant the past 5 yrs everytime I'm in the NYC neighborhood. Always order a pitcher of delicious sangria, delicious tapas or entrées. Very relaxing, music is great and staff is very attentive. It's a NY vibe just sayin.
Nice folks, fun vibe, great menu, everything tasted great, tasty cocktails
The meals and Mojitos were a delight. Friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend.
Came here for a cousins night out and it was a great decision! We made a reservation for dinner and stayed afterwards for drinks. The food was great, Tapas were a great portion to share. Food came out so fast! Drinks were delicious, different flavors of margaritas, all delicious. Alicia our waitress was on top of us making sure we had drinks and that our orders were put in for food. She was lovely! The showgirls were beautiful and great dancers! We will definitely be back!
Fun pan-Latin restaurant & bar with a decent happy hour menu.
In the evening, they have great music in the for folks to dance.
During the morning / mid day, they have more traditional brunch options.
I personally love their happy hour margarita!
I frequent this place during the summer months and it gets crazy packed. The music is Spanish, a mixture of Salsa, Merengue, Cumbia and Bolero and it be jamming, they have a DJ I believe on Thurs, Fri and Sat. Haven't been here in awhile. I took my Mom out today to eat and she chose Yuca for it's walking distance and because she also enjoys the food. She had Paella, which she found it to be a little salty so when you order this dish tell the wait staff "light on the salt" if any. I had tuna with corn and sliced sweet potatoes. It was a nice blended mix, very flavorful and put together. Its made to eat cold.
So happy to finally get to this place after my partner raved about how good it is. We had yuca fries and mushroom arepa to start. And I had fajitas. The arepa was so damn good! I asked for shrimp fajitas but I guess the server didn’t hear me cus there were def NO shrimp. I didn’t complain cus it wasn’t a big deal especially since I was satisfied.
Churrasquinhos is the best thing on the menu. And the Baja fish tacos lol. I order the same thing at least 3 times a month via Uber eats ❤️
Absolutely amazing spot. Gorgeous interior, reminiscent of Latin America. The waiters were incredibly attentive, and I mean incredible, plus all of them were so lovely. Especially the waitress who constantly had the brightest smile on her face and helped us choose cocktails. We only went for drinks but the guac and chips were delish, as they use a mix of root vegetables and plantain.
Happy hour is from 12-8pm so you really do get a great deal! You need to try their mojitos & frozen margaritas - they do NOT skimp on the alcohol. As a kind gesture, we even got a round of shots on the house. Must visit, don’t even hesitate. Voy a ir otra vez por supuesto y lo recomendare a todos mis amigos!
Very good drinks, music and security is amazing. The security guys are on the top of any situation around you. Very good. Any concern at the club just make sure to get in contact with the manager name “Frances” very nice and well educated gentleman ready to fulfill your pleasure.
We have been dining and drinking at Yuca since it opened, most recently last Sat 10/28. We have been dozens of times over the years and it never fails to thrill. The place is lively and fun, of course, but the food is serious and thoughtful. And delicious! We used to live nearby and now we live in Montreal, but we still visit whenever we can. One last word: Mojitos. Best ever.
I love Yuca bar, I come here all the time with my girls and we have a blast. Good drinks & great food. Jose is typically my waiter and he’s amazing! If you want Spanish music, you can’t go wrong with Yuca!
Amazing experience. I loved the place and I always hear good things about it so I had to check it out myself. I went their for dinner and wow, I had the salmon with chipotle sauce and mashed potatoes and a margarita. The margarita was strongish and the salmon was fantastic. I could tell it was fresh from the same week. I went on a Friday night and once I sat down my waitress had came to me quickly to get my order and that was great because I was able to get their happy hour price for drinks. 9 dollars for a bunch of them. Food came out in about 12 min. But what I did not realize from her taking my order so quick, was that once I ordered my food and she brought it to me. She had told me to eat it quickly because she had to MOVE MY TABLE, because they where going to have a club their. Mind you this is 15 MIN AFTER I HAD JUST SAT DOWN AND RECEIVED MY FOOD. I was shocked that I could not enjoy my food and appreciate the work their chef had put into it. That definitely affected her tip, I was expecting to stay their 45-60 min and all I could do was 25 minutes to quickly eat. I DID NOT ENOJY THAT AT ALL. I was about to leave but i made some friends that wanted to stay for the club…. AND WOW. WHAT A PLACE TO BE. If I could change anything it would be to NOT SIT PEOPLE WITHIN 30 MINUTES OF CLOSING BECAUSE I WAS NOT ABLE TO EAT IN PEACE. But let me tell you, the people that come to this club are young hip and ready for adventure and Yuca really puts on a show. They open the entire restaurant for as many people as possible. And I was wondering why so much space. But once 11:00pm hit the clock. The place was flooded with college girls and wow. What a night I had, the ratio of girls to guys is crazy, and if you like Latina’s or Latinos, THIS IS THE PLACE TO BE. For what it might cost you. I spent 100 dollars at yuca the entire night. Including my 27$ salmon and my 9$ margarita then a couple of beers and shots at their club. I would expect that each person would pay 50-100 if they only go to the club. I would come back again, if only they could fix that problem with the tables moving so quickly after sitting down.
Beef empanadas were 🔥 and the drinks were so fresh and tasty! A great spot and appeared to have some great happy hour specials!
We went to this place at night. The music was good and the vibe was also. This is truly a hidden gem and they play all night Spanish music. The only reason I give this place 4 stars because the ratio was a little off and I had asked the bouncer if there was cover fee and he said no. Once we got inside there was a cover fee for $20 which seemed a little too much. Overall it was nice and drinks are good .
Had a great experience here. The guy that was serving us was very attentive, the food was really tasty: very generous portions and the atmosphere was 10/10!
The only reason I’ve given it 4/5 stars is the price. I’m visiting from UK where I thought dinners could be expensive, but here in NYC it’s teaching me a harsh lesson. Last night we ordered 4 dishes and 2 drinks which amounted to $90. A tip included it breached the $100 mark which I think is absurd!! but that is NYC for you. Other than the price would definitely recommend!
We love Yuca bar so much! My family and I have been coming for years and they have the best service and the most amazing food and drinks! So happy to be a regular here. Judith is also the best!
Great ambiance with Latin music! The food was delicious. I really recommend the Arepa churrasqueso, it was sooo good! If you are a fan of desserts, try the bread pudding, it was also amazingly delicious. My server was super nice, all the staff was attentive with the service.
Large restaurant. Cute on the inside and out. After vaccination card check, we were seated right away. We had the empanadas as an appetizer and they were delicious! I ordered the pull pork burger with regular fries and a lemonada, my friends ordered the Cuban sandwich with yuga fries and the paella. They both said their food was slamming!!! The food did take some time to come out though. Over 30 mins. Other than that, service was great!!!
