This place is great. Love their coffee and tea drinks, biscuits are yummy! There used to be a couch in the seating area which was awesome. Bring it back?
Stopped here for a cup o joe on a Friday noon and discovered what it probably my top coffee place in town. The interior is dim and very cozy with high end feel to it.
I ordered a double espresso and an almond croissant and both were just perfect. The menu is quite varied here with so much good things to choose from.
This cafe is my favorite little NYC secret. It's an awesome place to go for a late weekend breakfast. The ricotta pancakes are absolutely amazing, it's never crowded, and the staff is really chill. They make decent drinks, too.
right place to have fresh breakfast and coffee at cozy atmosphere
Yummy breakfast options and they play soccer on the TVs over the bar.
In search of a nice cafe near Port Authority, I came across Kava from reading reviews. I'm a sucker for anything with avocado, so the avocado frittata brioche lured me right in along with seeing that they have Almond milk as an option for my Latte.
Both choices were absolutely delicious!! The Avocado Frittata Brioche was everything. The goat cheese inside gave it a unique flavor that made it all come together. My almond milk latte came in a nice red cup with a little foamy heart on top. Sprinkled in some raw sugar and sipped on it with my food. I sat out in the patio and did not step inside because I had my luggage with me, felt like a hassle. The outdoor area was great to enjoy a view of the busy city. Although I must say there was a dog stench. Well the whole city has some interesting smells, mostly really foul.
Service felt semi slow since I was in the patio, but I was able to relax a little and just enjoy it all solo before I left the city. I will definitely come back next time I'm here!
Nice variety of gluten free, organic items. More than just a cafe. You can pick great sandwiches, coffee, salads, cheese and anything else you can think of. Good place to shop. Just a little more expensive than other places, but its New York and your in Manhattan.
Went on a Sunday morning looking for a place to get breakfast. The atmosphere and vibe are really chill and the food is not your typical eggs and bacon. They have fritatas and brioches. I had the cortado and the fritata brioche. The combination of eggs, spinach, goat cheese and tomato is heavenly. I would recommend this place.
We stopped there in the afternoon with some friends. I had the beef sliders and they were fabulous. Definitely try them, but I don't see them on the online menu.
My favorite neighborhood cafe, because it's an un-cafe[1]: they offer more than coffee, and with style. Under the word "Coffee" the word "Cocktails" shines from their window.
Score liquor from the bar or indulge in a pastry. Munch on a salad, sandwich, or choose something from the antipasti selection. Meat or cheese? Or both? No matter your choice, they're open until 10pm, even Sundays.
Or just get yourself a chai latte[2]. It's smooth.
Their dining room can fit a crowd. It's appointed well, with rouge highlights. Looking to chat up a potential paramour? Look no further[3]. If you're a laptop-toting office nomad, get a side of Wi-Fi with your coffee(s), and people watch.
