The overall experience was very good. Had a hard time finding it, so if you go, it’s tucked in the back corner of their grocery store. Sat at the counter which I always enjoy because I like watching the chefs in action. But be prepared, this is a 3 hour venture with 13 courses. I promise you that and you will not walk away hungry. The detail and flavor profiles I thought were excellent. The only criticism is the size of each portion. I would prefer smaller portions so that I could enjoy 13 courses. I almost couldn’t finish and my wife was completely full after 8 courses. And I’m not a fan of more than 1 dessert. This experience had 4. Too much. It goes down as my #1 most expensive meal which price doesn’t move my decisions especially when everything is pricey today. But be prepared because it’s about $1k per person. But most important the food was excellent.

Dining at The Chef's Table at Brooklyn Fair was an unforgettable culinary journey that has left an indelible mark on my dining experiences. It's not just a restaurant; it's an extraordinary masterpiece crafted by two culinary geniuses, Executive Chefs Marco and Max. Their talent, creativity, and passion shone through every single dish, leaving me in awe. Each bite was a revelation, each course a work of art, and the entire meal surpassed all expectations. The ambiance of the restaurant struck a perfect balance between relaxation and sophistication. It provided the ideal backdrop for an evening of culinary delights. The staff was not only friendly and welcoming but also impressively professional and highly knowledgeable about the ingredients they served. If you seek a perfect venue for a special occasion, be it an anniversary, birthday, or any celebration, this restaurant is a choice you won't regret!

Travelling from South-East Asia to New York City, I was eager to experience the renowned culinary scene, and The Chef's Table at Brooklyn Fare was on top of my list. The ambiance struck a perfect balance between sophistication and warmth, welcoming me the moment I walked through the doors. Chefs Max and Marko, along with their team, were the evening's stars, crafting a menu that dazzled my taste buds and was deeply impressive. Each dish was a celebration of flavors, artfully presented and executed with precision. The beverage pairings were equally impressive, enhancing the meal with a thoughtful selection of wines. Moreover, the attentive and friendly staff made the evening all the more enjoyable. This dining experience was undoubtedly a highlight of my trip. I'm incredibly glad I didn't miss out on this exquisite dinner. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for making my (culinary) journey so memorable.

This a Super Fine dining experience 🤘🏻We had a Friday dinner-at this new location of Brooklyn fare (37th St. near 10 Av.). The food is so tasty!! You get to see the Chefs and Staff plate the food while you wait for the next course, really great for foodies. Definitely one of the best meals I’ve had: so creative and sophisticated and service of course is 5 ⭐️. Try to seat at the Chef table if you can find a place. You can have wine pairing but it’s not cheap..

This was my second time dining at the chefs table. My first time in 2016 was still in Brooklyn and after the recent change of chefs I traveled from Europe to NYC to revisit the restaurant (which had moved to manhattan in the meantime). Hands down it is a three star Michelin experience ! I can highly recommend to upgrade the menu with the Caviar and Truffle options, it adds another dimension to an already amazing experience. The wine list is extremely extensive but I trusted the sommelier and went for the wine pairing which was perfectly tailored to the menu. The chefs and waiters did a great job in explaining all dishes and taking care of all needs. Overall, the vibe and atmosphere on the counter was the best I experienced in a long time. As a result, I can highly recommend this place to every foodie who is looking for an breathtaking chefs table experience in NYC!

Had a wonderful time here for my husbands birthday! Fun entrance through the grocery store. Nice ambiance and welcoming service, and the food was so delicious throughout. Crab tartlet and uni waffle were some favorites

It could be the once in a lifetime or once in a year experience because of the price. Foods are exceptional and so good. I’ve never had that delicious sea urchins and foie gras before. The hostess lady outside was not friendly but everyone inside were so friendly and nice. I would definitely come back again.

Went the day after Chef’s Table at Brooklyn Fare reopened and WOW. We were absolutely blown away. The experience was what we’d imagined but better. The entire staff was incredibly friendly and courteous. And the food OMG - 14 courses accompanied by the most delectable wine selection - recommend doing the wine pairing 10/10 y’all. There isn’t a bad seat in this place. Whether you’re sitting at the counter or a booth it’s a great time. Service 10/10 attention to detail and presentation was a definite highlight for us. Food 10/10 I’m a seafood lover so the courses were right up my alley. Atmosphere 10/10 understated luxury. Music selection was on point. I remembered everyone who serviced/stopped by our table because you were all part of an exquisite experience for us. Thank you, Mike, Chef Marcus, Peter, Say-on (probably misspelled sorry), Becca, Artemio, David, and Jesus!

Omggg. I’ve been to many tasting menus and have to agree with one of the other reviews when I say there’s always something disappointing with at least one of the courses. Every course and every bite made me want more and more! We were quite full Bu the Tim we got to dessert but the frozen soufflé was THE BEST DESSERT IVE EVER HAD!!!!!! SOOOOOOOOOOO goood!!!!

This restaurant is arguably the best fine dining experience in the US. It’s located behind a convenience store to prove it doesn’t take itself too seriously. Chef Max and Marco are rockstars. The highlights include their A5 Wagyu + Caviar dish in the Amuse Bouche, their fish entree, Squab and Foie Gras [something similar to dishes you’d find at EMP or Frantzen], and their Meringue dessert. People should book this place with extreme confidence. Pro tip: get the caviar and truffle add-ons. Hoping Chefs Max and Marco continue to take risks to take CBTF to even higher heights. Can’t wait to be back soon
